The outside looks very nice now! I like that little thing on the flat roof. Even though it looks a bit modern for the shed. Especially with the steam locomotive.

St. Louis Metro Link - Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) - MOC
THERIZE replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Where is the black stripe around the windows? (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4a/St_Louis_Metrolink_train.jpg) To be honest I think the bars near the doors don't look right. The real one doesn't have those. But the train still looks good though.- 13 replies

Great locomotive! Nice details on the boiler!

Great layout! Sooo big!! People that visit you and see the layout must be shocked. What is that yellow train is the last picture. It seems incredibly long.

[MOC] RV
THERIZE replied to Chapachuk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
you got to be kidding me. this RV is so incredible!! all those details. from the decal on the rear to the driveshaft. So many details! -
I'm disappointed with the volcano sets. i'm colorblind and can't tell lime green and yellow LEGO apart... I'm very excited for the Air theme. I would love to finally have a real airport instead of the cargo one from a few years ago. A hot dog shaped vehicle seems cool.

Looks good. And more then 2000 bricks is A LOT. I like the the sloped front that narrows. could you show the coupling mechanism? Ps. What is the other locomotive in the last picture?

Wonderful. I love the little details like the bars for the landing gear and the light on the tail,

Yep, I started as a kid, and I'm now a teenager. My first true LEGO sets are from 2005. (I was 4 years old back then) I can't remember what the first one was but I know I is probably 7236. I think there will be a moment when I stop building LEGO for around a few years. I'm sure I won't build LEGO for the rest of my life. But really, I don't care. I have fun with LEGO now and if that ends. I can go back to the times I have builded LEGO. Ps. Am I the only one who thinks that 'Dark Ages' sounds stupid. I mean, so when you don't build LEGO it's a dark age. I'm sorry if I offend someone but doesn't it sound weird. 'Dark Ages' sounds more like a time period in history instead of not building LEGO. But well, I ain't call myself a TFOL. Because I like LEGO. I'm not a fan of LEGO.

First of all I really, really like how you made the picture from above. Nice design with the building, I love it! The crane is also nice.

I think you'd need to give a little more preferences. Width (from LEGO's 6 wide to ultra realistic 10 wide), power system (9V, Power Functions etc) and custom parts (drivers and running gear) are also things you need to decide whether to have it or not. Also, could you show your own models? I think a train builder would like to know how your models look so they can be the same style or size. Ps. I can't help you in this case, I'm also not really talented with trains.

The 2 front wheels are probably hinged so they can move sideways.
-
So cool! Great pantograph design and nice detail to disguise the 9V motor!
