[MOC] Lil' Speedster
Jurss replied to TechnicRCRacer's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Main idea was to integrate it more, so it doesn't pop out so much. Hadn't possibility to look in LDD, maybe I'll suggest something. Maybe this evenening I'll have time for that. -

Looks pretty similar to original, also looks well built. What about those small gears, doesn't they slip? -

Not bad. Yes, boxy on the sides, but that boxy part doesn't conflict with panels etc. I would try to integrate HOG steering soemhow better. Also, did You tried red 2l axles in headlights. I suppose, that they would look pretty good. -

Generic Contest Discussion
Jurss replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have pretty lot of pullback motors ... so I'm in. Pullback sets also are pretty cheap, so I don't see big problem here. -

TESLA concept 24 hours race car
Jurss replied to 9 fingers's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Really good looking! I like that shaping of cabin with axles. Steering also interesting, but don't know if it would be better than traditional.- 19 replies

[MOC MOD] BMW R Nine T custom
Jurss replied to Lighti's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
So far so good, but it seems, that soemthng is missing (not minimalistic, as it should be) I used axle with stop, but they don't come in lbg color, and I don't have grey gears ... -
Jurss' Workshop
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The axle constructions is pretty sturdy, but I still have to thiink, how to connect it better to main frame fo the car. Also there is limitation for up movement. From horizontal position it is just some 5 -10 degrees. But it could be OK for some street car, if somebody wanted to use this solution. Travel could be improved, but then it would be harder to put in differential, or there would be need to make it wider by one stud on each side. Of course, without differential this can be much narrower. When some rfinment will be done, I'll try to make LDD, and put in axle collection thread. -

I was meaning these and the dish. Those rigging parts was at that moment still close to 100. Yes, You can buy other color, which is cheap, and color them. One USA seller is still asking 900$ (nine hundred)
