Best power supply?
Jurss replied to Tobaganner's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You can use 9V battery, just buy and solder to some LEGO battery wire. Yes, You will need to sacrifice some battery box, to get LEGO connector. -

Axle Collection Thread

I think, there should be examples in this topic, which needs to slightly modify. Why do You think, that hubs wont be good for trial truck? for live axle? -

Needed independent fornt suspension, which fits in 11L to wheels. It's not perfect but it does its job. Steering angle seems better than on latest technics go-kart. There is working steering wheel attached and output to HOG steering. https://bricksafe.com/files/Jurss/r5tr/axle_front_independent_11.lxf -
[MOC] Renault 5 turbo rally V1.0
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My goal is not to make something in some standard scale, but to make it proportional. I use Sariels scaler, but I don't think about some specific scale. I just know after that how long beams to use :) -

[MOC] Renault 5 turbo rally V1.0

That would be different size (maybe too much), and chrome is not a must for this. In fact silver champion tyres/rim seems pretty expensive thing, but hey seems the same size as for 42000, which I have allready, and I have also 42039 tyres. They are almost the same width, but I need different widths. I'm considering theses at the moment. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=56904c01#T=C and https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=56145c01#T=C that would be much smaller car, maybe even easasier to build (i like smaller creations). Good thing is, that I have them allready I just bought 42056, and it is not so much about financial capabilites, I'ts not so also that I could say, that it was cheap for me, but it's more about wife acceptance factor -

Jurss' Workshop
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For that project (which is unfinished/disasambled nad waiting for inspiration) that was the needed size, because on the original car (Renault R5 turbo rally) front wheels are pretty narrow, rear little bit bigger diameter, but much wider. -

Thank You! I'm planning to rebuild it, so that two drwer boxes open on sides, so that everything is accesible from one side. This way also will be solved problem, that those drawers slide out pretty easy. Now i put some self adhesive band under drawers, which limits that slipping, but it is not safe solution.

Previously You wrote, that You have 7 BWE ?! As I have really small house and there's almost no permanent place for building, and parts collection grow out of two boxes with drawers and some two big boxes with ziplock bags with bigger parts, so I made some mobile workstation Need to do resorting of parts, also some table on the top. Made of Treston 1x554-3 1x550-3 2x551-3 Can be extenden with 4 more boxes with drawers. Bigger wont be good.
