  1. I really don't understand all the negative comment here. So what if the chassis is made from metal... That thing looks amazing! I hope it will be displayed in LEGO house when I get the chance to visit. I say it was about time they make some technic "sculptures", because they are way cooler than those made of regular bricks. Instead of hating, It would be more suitable to appreciate this marvel IMHO. Best regards!
  2. That's exacly what came to my mind. Well done on the fantastic performance for such a huge build.
  3. I love it! The colour scheme is great. Do the treads slip a lot?
  4. Wow, I'm still hven't stopped drulling over the side view. Silver wheel really add a lot to the whole model. Black with red details is also fantastic but more details can be seen on the orange one so I like it more. Bravo, instant hall-of-famer!
  5. Very nicely packed. I really like the door function. Looks like a lot of fun to play.
  6. Thx, I feel really silly now Went to check there yesterday, but not today, before I posted the question...
  7. Fantastic review once more Jim, thanks a lot! I love the looks of the crane very much, but I have to go with Sariel here in terms of "you can already build it with the parts you have". Maybe not in the same colours but with some minor changes on the body here and there, definitely. This is probably the main reason for me to skip it. But I would like to build it, so my question is, do we know TLG's policy of publishing the pdf instructions? Does anyone know when can we expect them? Now off to another read-look-through the review :-) Best regards, Miha
  8. @Skalf: I'll send you a PM as this is rather off topic... EDIT: I just noticed you are a new memebr so you'll need 10 posts to read your messages. Try searcinh for Inverno & Inferno and for MAN M1001. The last ine can be found on my YT channel as well.
  9. I am very impressed. Job very well done! Suspension idea is great and could be indeed tried out for some trial trucks. How many parts of the set are leftovers?
  10. Sweeeeeet laaaaawd, now this is one sweet lookin' behind. Jim was 100% right - I'm sold!
  11. For me it looks much better than the Porsche. I to feel cheated with this leak a bit. Now that I've seen it, I think I'll think more about whether to buy it or not - before this it was "a cetain buy", but now - we'll see how the reveal goes :-)
  12. Congratulations to all the winners again... I must admit those two runner ups were my favourite entries. I f I had to choose, it would be a very difficult decision. I like Jantaygs buggy just for a little tiny bit better than Chawns fantastic rally fighter. All in all - deserving winners all three. Best regards, miha
  13. The only thing why I could possibly consider this set are the new pneumatic valves. One can be seen behimd the cab. I guess there should be two of them...
  14. Excellent!!! The only two problems I (don't) have with it are two buwizz bricks :-) Fantastic tacklimg of those curbs. Pro-tag worthy!
  15. Those look really nice - both types!!! And not too expensive either. My only worry are the customs expenses...Shipment is from USA right?
  16. It really does look good on the field and the scenery is really nice! That gimbal works miracles, to bad that those are rather expensive. Great car as well, although SUVs are not really to my taste. Good luck!
  17. Funtastic! I like the proportions and the overall stance. How bad did the motor got hit? Did the pneumatic dampers require softer schocks? I really have to try this kind of suspension... Good luck in the competition, i only took a quick look over the competitors, but you sir are going strong IMHO!
  18. Did you try to drive it? Even with the original it could be a bit jerky if used as a rolling wheel, I'm guessing with 8 teeth it's even worse. Then again, you probably made it to be used as driving gear :-)
  19. Just some lights (not PF) - transclear something :-) And maybe some really small details like a bar here and there, or a chain hanging loose. Just something to make it less plain. Those pieces would only add some grams...
  20. This looks super light, how much does it weigh? Should perform really good! The cab needs a bit of detailing but looks gfreat so far.
