  1. Wow, I really like white exterior/black interior combo! Are you planning to make opening doors along the project or is that what it is? It is very recognizeable IMO. Great job so far.
  2. Hi, I feel a bit cuckoo about the cylinder suspension. I've seen it a couple of times and automatically concluded, that it has to be based on hydraulics - like the exit hole is shut forming a closed chamber of air. Now i see that it is actually a spring inserted inside . Do you know where can I find more about this mod? Thanks
  3. Wow, u sure build fast! I must check the LDD for that rear suspension! How long did it take to build it in LDD? Did you waterproof the motor and BB before going scuba? ;-) Best regards
  4. Hi, if we would only post our MOCs, that are on the same level as those of the legends we all look up to, then we would never post anything and we would never grow as builders. I actually quite like your creation, perhaps the L motor sticking out should be placed differently, but I find the bouncing of the car very cool - it sorta reminds me on those low riders full of hydraulics bouncing crazy on the american streets And your photos are fantastic!!! Very clear and good lightening, I'd say. Best regards.
  5. That really is an awesome upgrade to an already awesome car. Interior looks really prestigious - very leatherish :) I wish I had enough parts to build it myself
  6. Great car! RC motor really did it's job! Your set in the video is amazing! You really prepared well for the shooting. Did you build the track just for this model or did you do it before. Great details with the wooden bridge - also video editing makes it look like a true WRC footage. Did you use the rechargeable battery or the AAA BB? Do you perhapse know, which one of those provides more power to the RC motor? Best regards!
  7. From our point of view - making a detailed photo sequence is your top choice - no doubt I think you could also make some cash out of it...
  8. I am also drulling for such a set as Zblj proposed. It would be worth having just for the wheels themselves!!!
  9. What was the point of removable tracks? I'm guessing easier transport of the tank, something else maybe?
  10. Wow, respect! I was hoping to see some model of the tank that tries to implement the actual kinetics of the shooting gun, yours is the first! Since I don't know much about tanks, I am wondering if the detachable treads are just your designing magic or were there any such experiments in the real world?
  11. You are being way to modest! I like that it looks raw and agressive but cool and smooth at the same time. Is the seat in tan or white colour?
  12. Thanks everyone for a nice welcome and great feedback. I'm glad you liked it. I'm not sure what took me so long to join you Yes, the crankshaft really works fine, I wish I thought of it first . It does make each "cylinder" jump twice as it passes it, because the rotating modified tile provides two peeks per turn. The problem with my MOC was the rigid hose used as the crankshaft axle, which bends slightly due to the driving rubber band and because it is only braced where it enters the engine. I reduced the bending slightly by supporting the rigid hose on the loose end in the direction in which the rubber band is pulling. Still, there is quite some torque and still, the rigid hose swings up and down a bit while turning. Hey there Jerry, I can't promise you anything. When I'll be finished with the trailer, I was thiniking maybe of a detailed photo sequnce instead of LDD. I still didn't get used to using it that much that I would consider me fast enough - If I manage to make the photo sequnce eventually and you'll be up for it, I am gladly letting you create the LDD file, I'm sure it will be like a walk in the park for you, when it would take me hours...
  13. It really took my hat off!!! How can anyone "actuallly not like" hot rods!? It really looks a true badass. I like the idea of exhausts being attached only to pneumatic hoses. Chrome details really make the model more realistic. Red strings for cables are also I nice touch. Congratulations!
  14. Chapachuk, this one sure makes me wanna go to the seaside instead to work tomorrow! It's perfect, although I think I woudn't let the beer drive up on the roof to get some extra tan . I missed that one on the KK forum, I'll go check on it there also. I love the roller shade detail and the bicycle holder.
  15. Hi guys, I'm new here and I would like to present you the Mini Power Puller! I created this MOC wishing to compete in recently finished MINI contest here at Eurobricks (great contest btw.!), but unfortunately couldn't (and eventually wouldn't) make it under 200 parts. The idea was to build a little brother to the legendary Power Puller set (8457) with working mini fake 8 cylinder engine and steering. And since PPs are quite some beasts, I had to do it with at least two V8's :) By succeeding at it, the 200 part limit was way way exceeded, but due to lack of time and because I was quite satisfied with the outcome, I had to abandon the contest participation. Any way... the tractor is here for you to judge. I have to give credit for the mini engine idea to this video, I have searched the web a bit and couldn't find the mini V type of fake engines. A bit later, one of the MINI contest contestants created a bit different type of fake mini V engine. Power puller also needs power puller wheels so I had to widden those a bit by adding the 36 tooth gear to the inner side of the wheels. The mini fake engines are driven with some gearing up and two, unfortunately green, LEGO rubber bands. There are some illegal attachments around the engines and therefore the torque in the drivetrain is quite high. You have to push the tractor all the way because it instantly stops. From the bottom... And now some power pulling... (kinda) The tranctor has working steering wheel and (mostly by coincidence) pendular front axle. Of course, there is power pulling trailer missing, I have it planned to be fully functional with heavy load moving toward the tractor during pulling and simultaneously providing drive to the tractor, which I'll have to redesign, at least the rear axle. But I don't know when it'll happen, cause I just can't make enough time to build... I hope you like it, best regards, miha
  16. Hi, that one sure is a beast!!! Is there any torsional bending of the rear suspension, since each motor is an independent arm for itself, or is the weight low enough that such problem doesn't even occur? Best regards
