    The cassette recorder (forget the name) is absolutely the best pick for a Decepticon. Most recognizable Decepticon after Megatron and Starscream I suspect and looks nothing like any kind of weapon or military anything.

As for other figs, I want the astronomer kid to come with a printed star chart (there have been a few star charts over the years but most of them are hard to get).

    Finally managed to score the newer BaM. Snagged the dark blue space torso, the dark grey Dreamzzz leather jacket, the dark azure Dreamzzz hoodie, 2 black Lego store employee torsos, 2 dark azure baseball caps, the magenta swimming cap, the purple mohawk, the white space shoulder armor, 2 pairs of the magenta legs with yellow feet, the Dreamzzz head with the glasses and silver moustache and beard, the head with the sunglasses with the city skyline reflection and the Dreamzzz head with the medium azure goggles. Would have gone for a second blue space torso (probably instead of the skyline sunglasses head or the shoulder armor) but I didn't want to press my luck too far.

    Octopus already exists, I own several. Although it hasn't been used in years. Squid would be great though.

    Spotted the supposedly "flagship stores only" previous BaM wave at the Dreamworld LEGO Certified Store today (the mime torso with the stripes and red suspenders, the green big dress piece and matching torso and I think some others). No sign of the new stuff though (Dreamzzz/dark blue CS torso/Halloween).

    The Sally hair does come in a 2024 set in white but the set in question is retiring at the end of 2024 whereas the Nightmare Before Xmas set is going to be on shelves a lot longer. It may be possible that the Sally hair is going to retire along with the set its in.

    Its a pitty the previous wave of BAM (with the queen and that employee torso) never made it to any of my local stores, I would have loved to get some of those black employee type torsos. New BAM seems interesting with the dark blue CS torso and some Dreamzzz stuff that looks neat (and which I wont be getting otherwise unless I buy from the online PaB)

    I would love to see a modular that used a lot of earth green. There aren't many sets that contain any real quantity of that color.

    Bought the Jungle ATV and the Jungle float plane today (great sets, the ATV was my first exposure to the new paper bags) Great sets (and I will be acquiring the truck and completing my collection when the right sale/discount/price comes along)

    I just hope we get something different instead of a repeat of something we have already had before. We have had many ice-cream trucks before, same with hot-dog trucks/carts and also pizza has been done a lot and I have seen coffee a few times too) Mexican could work (we had one in that one Friends set but never in city), as could Asian (although I suspect that's more of a Ninjago or Monkie Kid thing) or maybe something like chicken.

    Just bought/built the new NASCAR and I LOVE it. One of the best Speed Champions vehicles to date.

    I would love to see Tarzan content. I would also love to see Monsters Inc and Wreck-It Ralph content.

    The new wooden door from the D&D set and the Medieval Town Square is also up for sale.

    A list has been published of parts that are supposedly going to drop at the end of the month: (the door from the MTS/D&D set is on the list) https://www.bricksafe.com/files/TobyMac/ne/eid/PaB_rb_cat_new_2024-08.html Not many parts because April didn't see many new set launches (and most of the special parts in the D&D set are IP locked)

    I think sets like the apartment building and downtown from last year are the sort of thing we need more of. (preferably more sets like that at lower price points, the downtown was cool but I could never afford one unfortunately)

    I hope the gorillas make it to PaB (bought the set that contains them yesterday and they are amazing looking) although I suspect that if/when they do they will cost a lot (especially since you would have to buy the left and right arms separately)

    Bought the City set with the big helicopter and gorillas yesterday, its a great build and the gorillas are really cool. My biggest wish now in terms of African or Jungle animals would be a hippo.

    My favorite of all the modulars has to be the Police Station. I would LOVE to see a modular hospital for sure.
