    The problem with anything Asian is that the likes of Monkie Kid and Ninjago have that covered already. (including the giant Ninjago City modulars)

    As an Aussie, any further City-style Australian animals to go with that koala (including a City "Outback Explorers" theme) would be instant "shut up and take my money" territory for sure.

    I placed an order on the 30th of October (standard and bestseller) and it hasn't shipped yet. Should I be concerned at this point? (the "Books are my passion" GWP showed up just fine though)

    What do you mean only one DC set? Reports are we are getting Batmobile vs Freeze, Superman Mech vs Luthor (finally, a set that doesn't have Batman in it) and Tumbler vs Two-Face and Joker in January with a big D3C Arkham to launch at some point later in the year. As for the Spidey-Dinos, blame the producers of Spidey and his Amazing Friends for that, not LEGO.

    There are leaked images (which I wont link to) showing a Speed Champions F1 car for every F1 team. Supposedly the Red Bull and that other Red Bull thing will be 18+ because of the energy drink logos.

    Picked up some XMAS Bam from the Dreamworld LEGO store the other day, happy with that.

    The good thing about the new botanic garden is that other than the sticker sheet, all the new stuff should appear on LEGO online PaB sometime early next year so for those who, say, already have the Friends garden (or multiples of that) you will be able to get and add some of the new stuff from this one if you want.

    Many of the settings Yosemite Sam uses his six guns in are historical (wild west, "pirates" era, civil war type stuff). Altlough if the guns really are a problem, they could do Yosemite in one of the instances where he has swords or other things instead of guns.

    New parts (the aforementioned BaM bits as well as some other stuff including parts from Bumblebee) have just landed on PaB.

    How is giving one of the more "realistic" gun pieces to, say, Indiana Jones or Two Face or Black Widow any different to giving that same gun piece to Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam?

    Looking at Looney Tunes specifically, the problem with that is that (in the form most people would want them in) a number of the "missing" characters are no longer considered acceptable (or at least not so much in a kids toy). Pepe Le Pew chases females and tries to make love to them without their permission. Both Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam have guns in their most well known forms (which is no longer OK apparently). And I think there is something controversial about Foghorn Leghorn as well (although I am not sure what) Who else has appeared often enough to make sense to consider for LEGO product?

    Probably the DreamWorks franchise I would want LEGO product for the most would be Madagascar.

    Its surprising how many minifigs from Disney films we have gotten. In terms of films I wish we had minifigs from, I would say for Pixar my wish would be Monsters Inc and Inside Out.and for Disney it would be Tarzan and Wreck-It-Ralph. (Inside Out got a minidoll set and a BrickHeadz pack but the others have never appeared in LEGO at all as far as I know)

    LEGO seems to be funny with Ninjago specifically in terms of what lands on PaB and when. Other than Ninjago parts and parts that are clearly licensed, all the June parts did end up on PaB (including all the new City parts, Friends parts etc)

    Looks like some of the missing parts showed up (Up BrickHeadz printed brick, Monkie Kid torso, bright light blue train door, missing yellow wedge tile and a couple more). Just waiting for the rest of the parts I want to make it to the bestseller warehouse (and for the 2 x 2 printed helicopter tile from the yellow LEGO truck to show up for sale for Australia, its already showing up for sale for other countries) and I can look at placing this order.

    Seems that there are a bunch of parts that were on the list of "supposedly comming this month" parts that haven't made PaB yet. A bunch of Ninjago parts didn't land (Ninjago is always weird about what does and doesn't land on PaB and when it lands), also the printed scout uniform brick from the Up BrickHeadz, the bright-light-blue train door from the HP Carriage set, a pair of dinosaur arms, the Monkie Kid Nine-Headed Demon cape, the Monkie Kid torso from the Pagoda set and a couple of others. Seems the sound brick from the Retro Radio set is somehow locked and wont be comming to PaB. Although it would probably cost a fortune if it did.

    All of the printed parts from both the Up and Inside Out Brickheadz appear to be on the list, if they appear that will be great for Pixar fans who want some of these parts but don't want to buy the whole set.

    An Optimus Prime head would be cool if it wasn't super expensive.

    Yeah my phone camera can't focus on things that close unfortunately. Bought 3 more today on a whim and ended up with another witch, another red dragon guy and another wing guy. Going to stop buying I think and just snag the other stuff I want on Bricklink or something rather than taking the risk of getting more I don't want.

    The new City Jungle animals (olive green crocodile, gorilla, sand green baby crocodile, tiger, baby gorilla, red panda) as well as the 2nd half 2024 Friends animals like the beaver are (according to the latest information put out by LEGO) landing on PaB on the 9th of October.

    Looking at the list at https://www.bricksafe.com/files/TobyMac/ne/eid/PaB_rb_cat_new_2024-10.html I see the baby gorilla under "Plants and Animals" alongside the big one (and both its arms). I also see all 4 treasure maps on there under "Tiles"

    Last I checked Mega still has the Pokemon license so that's unlikely to happen.

    Scored another batch today with 3 of the axe guys, another eyeball staff guy, 2 more witches, the forest guy, the one with wings and the one with the trans-red skull. Decently happy with that (except for all those witches I now have) although I still want the one with the guitar thing and the one with that brain with legs.
