  1. Oh man. I want these sets so much. May pass on the construction mech, but I doubt I'll be able to. The other two are absolutely day one buys.
  2. I would be much more interested in buying the line if they looked like that. I just don't like the molded heads, personally.
  3. That is great! Especially for a first MOC with limited parts choice. Definitely has personality.
  4. I love it! Definitely a nice design. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Wow. That is really cool. Very Giger-esque (which is, I assume, what you were going for). I especially like the convoluted terrain.
  6. As a fellow book-lover, I have to agree with you.
  7. That's some impressive work. I especially like that 5 wide classic car - looks great!
  8. That's really cute and well-built. I like it a lot - definitely would add to a lot of scenes.
  9. To make it more confusing, there have also been rumors that the Town Hall is next to retire due to it having slower sales (most likely due to the higher price as much as anything...). I went a little nuts with the current double vip points promotion - convinced my wife that we needed to order the Town Hall, Pet Shop *and* the Grand Emporium before one of them was retired. It took some convincing, let me tell you. Luckily, we had just gotten a much larger tax refund than we were expecting, so I had some bargaining room. ;)
  10. That turned out great! Looks perfect.
  11. I'm really hoping the x-mansion hits the 10,000 threshold (though I am sadly doubtful that such a large set would get the go ahead).
  12. I really like it! Looks great and definitely fits the aesthetic.
  13. This is a fantastic MOC - really well-framed and built. Nice work!
  14. These sets just look like so much fun. I've been buying way too much lately, so I'm going to try to pass these up. I already know I'll cave in on at least some of them, though.
  15. Well, I went on a bit of a spending spree with the double VIP points and ordered Town Hall, Pet Shop, and Grand Emporium. So whichever one is retired next, I'm covered. I just wish I hadn't come on board the Lego train so late, missing some really good modulars.
  16. Evil, my wallet could at least believe. ;) But of the devil? Sorry. No.
  17. That looks fantastic! Great work. I'd love to see it loaded up with Emmet, Wyldstyle, and Vitruvious.
  18. Those are really cool. Very original and well built. Thanks for sharing them.
  19. Luckily, I was in love with the Movie series - so it isn't as big of a wait for me (even though I don't have much interest in the Simpsons series). I'm still impatient for the next regular series to get here, though. As for the 4.00, I've been paying that price for awhile since I don't have many options to buy CMF's locally. Of course, that probably means I will now be paying 5 bucks apiece. I really need to get better at feeling what's in those bags - I'm terrible at it, never end up with who I thought I felt in there.
  20. That's cool - definitely in the spirit of the movie.
  21. I love it, but I just don't have the space for it. I may cave in and buy it one of these days, but for now I am holding off.
  22. Think there's any possibility that Benny's Spaceship is the surprise release for VIP's on May 15th?
  23. Thanks for posting. That is really cool.
  24. Nice collection of rare bricks, 1974. Thanks for sharing pictures. It would be really nice if some of these made their way into production, eventually. Still cool to see some 'what ifs' even if they don't.
  25. Now that is impressive! Wow. I am blown away by not only the size, but just how great it looks as well. Really, really well done.
