  1. Finished my set of Movie CMF's last week with the help of a very nice cashier at a local store who offered to help me find a Shakespeare. I cannot feel these things through the bag to save my life. I wish they were going to be making even more Movie sets (since it was what made me into an AFOL), personally. I imagine that they will give the theme a rest until the sequel though.
  2. I am really excited for the Arctic sets. No idea where I will display them, but I'm interested in all of the sets, most likely.
  3. That is gorgeous! One of my favorite modular-style buildings so far.
  4. This looks great! My daughter saw the pictures and immediately asked me if we could build it. I had to tell her that we would need a whole lot more "blocks" to do it. ;)
  5. I just hope we see more X-men sets than just the one shown so far. I would love to be able to collect a robust X-men lineup...
  6. Got my MM from Shop at Home today. A great minifigure, in my opinion. Makes me wish I had more of the DC figures.
  7. Thank you for the Modular information. I appreciate it.
  8. For me, it's just over 300 miles to the nearest Lego store. Not impossible, but not quick. I'm hoping to make a trip there in a few months. As a new collector of Lego, PAB would be a lifesaver to start a collection of bricks for MOC's. I was going to purchase some random loose bricks from Shop at Home, but the price gets crazy pretty quickly.
  9. Thanks so much for all of the welcomes! Great community, here. I think I chose wisely as to which Lego community to join.
  10. Wow. What an amazing project! I love the idea of leaving the windows and the way you've secured it is genius!
  11. Welcome! I love your Rock Raiders set up, there. Very cool.
  12. Which of the modular buildings is likely to be retired next? I'm a new collector interested in them and don't want to run into a situation where prices start to climb like they've done on the first few. (Wow, those are pricy...) Thanks.
  13. This topic makes me really wish that I had a Lego store in my state.
  14. Guess this is where I should post first. Greetings from a newborn AFOL. Oddly enough, I never owned a Lego brick until the ripe old age of 40. Cliché as I imagine it is, The Lego Movie brought me in. I loved the movie and initially thought I could get away with only purchasing one or two little sets for my desk, but I'm sure you all know how that went. Once I found out that there was a Shakespeare minifigure, (I am a writer, so I definitely needed him...) I ended up getting sucked into the CMF black hole as well. Fast forward a few weeks and here I sit with several City sets, a couple superhero sets, a couple Star Wars sets, and a bunch of minifigures in my collection with my first modular building (cinema) on the way from Lego shop at home. I think it's fair to say I'm addicted.
