  1. Have these sets been sighted anywhere other than Toys R Us as of yet?
  2. That is a great layout! So many cool details.
  3. "Max 2T" = Maximum weight capacity = 2 tons. Just to answer the question in the review. I'm definitely excited for the arctic line, but this small set looks like a slightly underwhelming build...
  4. These sets just look better and better. I can't wait to get my hands on them.
  5. With these showing up at TRU, how long until they are found at other outlets? (Closest TRU to me is nearly 500 miles...) Do Target and Walmart usually wait to stock until an aisle reset? And I assume the official Lego shop won't have them up until the 1st of June?
  6. Those are both cool, but the May 4th one really came out great! I'm interested to try out this idea once I have more modulars. Seems like there should be more advertising in a city of that size... I have the Grand Emporium, but have not yet gotten to build it. You've given me another reason to look forward to it.
  7. Opened three new sets in the last three days and each one was missing 1-3 pieces. Haven't had many issues with this in the past but I thought it was strange (and more than a little annoying...).
  8. Thank you for the replies! This information has already helped. I really appreciate it.
  9. I posted this over in general discussion and it was suggested that I try here. Anyone able to help me out? Original post: What is the material that Lego uses for their ship sails and such? I'm looking to get ahold of some in bulk for a non-Lego custom project, but I don't know exactly how to go about it. Any help? Thanks.
  10. Thanks for the replies. Perhaps I will try in the pirates forum.

  12. Oh man... The arctic sets hit in June, too? I thought those were August.
  13. June is going to be a pricy, pricy month for me. I want the whole wave of Lego Movie sets and am wondering if the Agents sets are hitting as well since the calendar shows that there will be an Agents app. If so, I'm looking to get several (if not all) of those. Luckily, I'll probably be getting something lego related for Father's day, so that may save me some dough if I drop the right hints. ;)
  14. I love this one! It is understated, but not plain. There are some very cool details throughout. I agree that the dance floor may be better suited to the top level, but otherwise, this one is absolutely perfect as-is.
  15. That is an awesome gift! Very cool idea and well built.
  16. I'm also interested to know how well these methods hold up over the years. I've seen excellent results - I just hope there's no problems down the line from doing this.
  17. For whatever reason, I just wasn't interested in Lego as a kid - too heavily into gi joe and star wars, I suppose... That said, i was always a little jealous of my friend's classic space sets.
  18. I do not have a Lego store within 300 or so miles, so I've never seen the pick-a-brick cups in person. I'm curious how large they are. Could the large cups fit easily within the USPS flat rate priority mail boxes? (I'm considering trying to get a friend with a store nearby to ship me a few and I was wondering how much it would cost as I imagine the weight could get up there. Probably would be cheaper just to do pick-a-brick in the long run....
  19. That was really funny - and done really well. I am going to be so broke in June. But it will be a fun month of building. :)
  20. That is one sweet build! Nice work (and great photos, too).
  21. I just recently got into Lego, myself. I've been working on getting the officially released modulars to have them, but also to learn the tricks of the trade as far as their construction. At the same time, I've been slowly building up my parts collection by picking up sets that look like good "parts packs." I also ordered my modulars from shop.lego.com so I've been building up a nice collection of VIP points to use for pick-a-brick when I get to the point of having a plan for my first modular MOC.
  22. Still no verification email for me, either.
  23. I haven't received the confirmation e-mail, so I can't sign in. :( Looks pretty good from what I can see. I like that it shows what is being reviewed and what has been released right on the main page.
  24. Yeah, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
  25. This and an Emmet's apartment modular are definitely the two at the top of my wish list. A movie-based advent calendar could be really fun as well. I really hope we see a few more Movie sets.
