Thanks Xcod. When I first saw that scene I thought it was pretty scary. Ah, those childhood memories...

Absolutely gorgious building. The use of that many colours should be overwelming but are in fact very subtle. This building created it's own new legocolour... The detailing and textures are amazing, as always.

Nice scene. Those white pieces in the background are a nice touch. It appears to be lighting of some sort.

I'm know for stupid questions, but this one's probably gonna make me famous: Does the upcomming Ecto 1 fit in the garage? Lenght- and heightwise?

[MOC] Ecto-1 Ghostbusters (Ex hearse/Icecream truck) Monster Fighters
B Rick replied to B Rick's topic in LEGO Licensed
My Ecto 1 has had a few updates since I last posted it. Here's the newest version. Still waiting for a blue windscreen... (My ZUUL can be found HERE...) -
THERE IS NO DANA, ONLY ZUUL! Presenting to you just a 'quicky'. Zuul, the hellhound from 80's movie Ghostbusters. Yes, I'm a bit of a GB-coattailrider here but it happens that GB belongs to my top 10 best 80's movie-list. :) I was inspired by masterbuilders Wet Wired and Sergio and their awesome Ghostbusters-builds but couldn't wait for them to build Zuul (let alone wait for THE Ecto1 to hit the stores...) so I build my own in the bricks that I have. Grey. Ofcourse it (probably) should be in a nice earth and olive green right...? Well, the Gargoyl out of what this beast emerged is grey, so I'm kinda safe... What else is there to say... Oh yeah, I used the newish Chima Legend beasts build-methods with the balljoints, and really made it my own. That was a fun challenge! :) Enjoy! Next to the GB-minifig and my Ecto1 it is kinda huge. A bit larger than the extralarge dog from the movies, but ofcourse Lego is a material of compromises. I agree that the body could use a little bit more mass... It'll just has to do, for now... Run little GB, Run like the wind! ...and try not to cross your beams... (my Ecto1 can be found here...)

Cool factoryscene. Lettering turned out very well! I tried my hand at it it a long while ago and came to the conclusion that there aren't that many characters that can be made this way. Good job!

Exactly! To really appreciate the size (and effort) you should see it next to an original set... Had the same 'problem' with my modified haunted house.

Hurry up! Can't wait for it to see what you'll come up with, wetwired. Really would love to see a Zuul comming from your hands...

Thanks Gabe! Humor and Lego mocs should go and in hand :) Maybe you should try the regular 'full sized' hearse from lego. Still wondering how that will look like.

MOC: Haunted Mansion 10228 - Modular Garden AddOn
B Rick replied to SeptemLego's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great job! I really like the treecolours. I wanted those too but I had already lots of browns and greens so I went with that... Last week I visited a Lego store that had these red leaves in the pab-wall but I didn't take any... Stupid me... Good to see that it still functions as a dollhouse with all those tiles underneath.
