  1. That's way cool Jockyboy! Good to see you've used the bones and the sidepipes. You know what? Now that I've seen the original hearse in one of your photos, I think it would be pretty cool to have an even more faithfull 7-stud version of this original hearse. My version was based on my modified version of the original hearse. Maybe I'll try it some day. If you won't beat me to it ;) The white one looks right-on! I love the transparent blue on white. I've tried that on my 7stud Ecto-1. (Have you seen that one?) But I don't have enough of them blue windows/windscreens... BTW, You've managed to post the pics the right way!
  2. Yes jockyboy, the links work. Congrats! Now, you're almost there... Hang in there to complete this level and just follow the instructions: Step 1: Click 'More Reply Options' Step 2: Click on the picture icon Step 3: Copy and paste one of your brickshelf-links you've posted above into place. Step 4: Press 'enter/return' and repeat step 2 and 3 and copy/paste your next link. On your model of the hearse: I like the toothgrill very much. I mean VERY MUCH. I didn't had those pieces when I build my car, as I was just a starting AFOL, but now that I have, I may use this idea for my hearses. Looks really cool. Don't know about the eye-pieces on the lampholders but I see what you've trying to do. I like the idea. Also, I prefer wider wheels in the back. I know, it's kind of a hassle to make it fit, but that's what makes it a hotrod I think. Overall: Very well done! Kinda funny to see a duplicate of one of my mocs. Makes me feel really proud. Thanks. Cheers!
  3. Tres Magnefique!! Awesome mod on an already cool car.
  4. It's basicly the same. But you could encounter some problems when fitting minifigs inside. Obviously I've used only the torso in the back of the truck. And otherwise: Use your imagination. You don't HAVE to build the roof the same way I did. Maybe you can come up with a better way, or maybe with enirly new ideas. It's Lego! Thanks PaddyBricksplitter! Now thats a cool idea!
  5. Beautiful. Great storytelling in one pic. Love it!
  6. Cool! Windscreen: It's just a generic 6x3 windscreen with 2 studs on top. Those studs are supposed to fit into two technic 1x2's with a hole in the middle. You'll have to push a little harder into the technic holes... Look again at the pics. Maybe you'll see it now how it fits. Pics posting: I know many AFOLs use brickshelf.com as a picture host where they upload all of their pics, like I do. It's handy as Brickshelf is another LEGO specialized social network. Sort of... But I find it much of hassle. Very terrible to use. It works, but.. meh... I'm not sure but I think you can use other photohosting sites like Photobucket.com. either way, you'll have to register to yet another website. But that's how social networks and forums work. Good luck.
  7. Just wanted to say that I absolutely love these posters!!
  8. Nice! It's very tempting to copy this one. (for personal ofcourse to use on my shelf)
  9. Haha, nice pic
  10. Well, here are some pics of a deconstructed 7stud hearse. Didn't feel like taking the whole car apart but I do hope these pics will get you on your way. How I did it is not the best / most sturdy way. But I was and still am short of the right bricks. I always run out of black pieces. especially 3-studs... So maybe you can make it better your way. Make shure to post some pics here when your done. Hint: 2x2 cornerplates (3studs) are very handy in 7stud builds. If you have any questions, don't be affraid to ask.
  11. Very cool! I'd buy that in an instant.
  12. Thanks N_Cat! Maybe the batmobile could use a little more red. Dunno, really... In reality the car doesn't have that much red on it, but I can see what you mean. In Lego it's always a matter of what you have to leave out, especially in a relative small model as this. I've designed it with possible production and playability in mind. And I can imagine that if it was up to Lego they would print some red lines where nescessary. Thnaks for the support! THanks Jersey Brick Guy! 5600 is a mighty fine number! Thank you LegoPercyJ! Don't forget to cast your vote on Lego ideas (link in signature) Cheers!
  13. That's pretty good! You've managed to turn an unattractive moviecar into a VERY attractive Lego-model. I think I want one...
  14. Thanks Moustaqua!! Can I count on your vote for it on LEGO IDEAS? Check link in my signature
  15. Thanks guys!! I feel very welcome here. However I've been feeling welcome for a few years by now, for I'm not a 'new' member to the group. But thanks anyway. Feel free to check out my builds and considder giving my Batmobile project on Lego-ideas your vote.
  16. Thanks man! Always great to hear my builds inspire others. As for plans... No I won't accept money or other means of contributions. If I had instructions, you would get them for free. But I haven't. What I can do however, is to take a car apart and photograph a few steps of the process. I hope I'll be able to do that soon. Cheers!
  17. Thanks guys! Please don't tell anyone that I've painted the wheels red... I'm really not into customizing parts, but the red does look too good not to paint the wheels. I've used acrylics which can be removed easily if you don,t want it anymore... ;) Hey lightningtiger! That's a great compliment. By all means, go right ahead! Nice of you to ask. Would you mind posting a pic in my thread when you're done? I'd love to see it!
  18. Wow! You've really nailed the model.... So many good details, but I really like to mention the way you've done the headlights. With tha minifig back/neck bracket you've created a very subtle slope. First time I've seen this.
  19. Beautiful model and great presentation!
  20. NICE!!! Looks like you've had tons of fun building this one...
  21. thanks! I've made some improvements. - rideheight less extreme - wider trackwidth - longer wheelbase - longer roof - reworked front and rearend For the factory Charger version I've added steelwheels n hubcaps and just to break things up: a Dukes of Hazzard style bullbar. So here's Dodge Charger 2.0
  22. Haha, that thing is great! Love the shape with and without it's cat-features.
