  1. Ahaaaa, so the AG trend of hilarious stories continues Great story, and I love the details on the ship like the beds et all
  2. Done (or at least, the form was entered, so I guess I`ve done it now hehe)
  3. I have the finances to back my shsre, so here is the required `proof` 1. My sigfig info: 25 DB 2. my ship the HMS Green Dragon: free ship license, nets 10 DB 3. my forge property: free property license, nets 10 DB Totalling: 1 share in this LOVELY boat :-)
  4. Do remind me that next time you want shared Corrington science inventions, i will be saddling you up with Sybianotic Excretion Scrubbing Brush inserters...
  5. If you think `fleur de lys`, then no. If you think `jester cap worn by sexy female jester from a certain comic line` then yes
  6. Sneak Peak for my next property (once the funds and land are in order) The MAESTRO trading flag, flying between the royal flag of Corrington (right) and the city flag of Quinnsville (left)
  7. The latest of my Project Merak display layout, which combines favourite sets of mine with building around them, is the Roadside Festival. In this, there are three Castle sets I really adore: the Guarded Inn, the Armory (with black sword!) and... that little jester set that came with the for now last Kingdoms range. The scene diplays a sort of festival that takes place at a roadside inn. Knights and warriors gather from around the lands to enjoy some of the finer ales present, while the local villagers stand by and look at the amazing entertainers present. Like this fakir and his hypnotic snake... Or this card tricks jester... I admit, this must be the first Lego part I ever glued (heresy!), but a few decennia in a box had the clips broken off from the inn plate.
  8. The curvature on the rockwork and masonry is well executed
  9. Sleeek, elegant, beautiful!
  10. Those are some fine small ships, very suitable to start the voyage on the brick seas I kinda like the `chibi` look, wether intentional or not, of the Bluecoat vessel
  11. As long as `flotilla`, especcially in the early stages of the game and story, won`t be something we all would be forced to do. Would leave a lot of workless dockers that way hehe
  12. Impressive oven, and a very nice workshop
  13. I think Ska is holding that for later, if he throws all his cards on the table, there won`t be much story adding for later weeks / months / years Also, I *think* Tiberia is okay, because when i asked for a landgrant, it could be done on Tiberia, but it will be allowed on new grounds when they are opened up on the map to found Quinnsville (it`s some pages back)
  14. Nice use of the prefab plate!
  15. The names are hard to translate, being actually flemish dialect names. Here, they are less `extensive` in meaning then how to best translate them.
  16. I would guess this passage from the Trade Run example in the MCRA. Not a `chart` per se, but having to do with your multipliers seems my best guess. The roll chart is prolly a game mechanic kept under the lock and key of the powers-that-be
  17. Think of it like the USS Enterprise from Star Trek: it can do a bit of everything, like exploration, science, transporting passengers of cargo, and hold it`s own in a fight, without being a dedicated vessel to one goal exactly, like USS Defiant was a pure warship.
  18. Ow man, I just love everyhting about this, the curved roof, the woodworks, just awesome
  19. My first piece of Property for the Brethren of the Brick Seas econimics game, and the second building that will be placed once I start my `plates` for the city of Quinnsville lay out, is an artisan category entry, a small forge. McPherson`s is the go to guy when you want your swords reforged or need more bullets for your musket, as he and his apprentice Billy-Bob are the most well known smiths in the region. Of course, the fact they are apparently the ONLY smiths in the region does help as well... For this build, I decided to make it around the small forge that came in the Kingdom`s Advent Calendar, and build the whole shed around it. While the smith is working his anvil to mend swords, his apprentice is trying the art of melting lead for musket balls. Though apparently he needs some more experience, judging by his panicky looks and worried passers by. And of course, it flies the colours of the MAESTRO trade company, as part of it`s network of enterprises ;-)
  20. No issue with me, I kind of 'unofficially' adopted the long gone green dragon crest as my house design
  21. Fantastic build, I love how the hull is incorporated into the beach
  22. Well, share of profits and sponsorships where more common back in those days... especially in the New World
  23. Ah right, I forgot the always free part. Never mind the offer. Mike, if you need the gold, I`ll lend it to you then for a share of the profits as intrest :-)
  24. If the good sailor can convince the powers-that-be, aka the gamemasters, that it is okay and allowed, I want to propose that I will `buy` our fellow Corlander his `free ship license`, in exchange for the 35 doubloons I have currently earned (ship and intro). That way, he is a step closer to getting his big ship, and I will be able to invest that again in a small class vessel I have my eye on in the next month, and insurance on my sponsorship, should the capital be needed.
