Hello everyone, 40448 is a pretty nice set, but I don't like it doesn't have functional doors. So I modified it to have a functional hood, doors, and trunk. Now the minifigures can get back the surfing board to surfing. The instruction is listed in my video. Welcome to take a look :)

Hi everyone This is my new MOC. A vintage taxi loosely based on American style taxicabs from the 1950's / 60's. The model is 6 studs wide and contains 187 parts. I've designed this model as my entry in a contest currently running on LEGO Ideas. The brief is to design a vintage car to compliment the style of the LEGO modular buildings. i felt that a taxi would fit the bill pretty well, especially with the more recent American style modulars like Downtown Diner and Corner Garage. Anyway It's a long shot but if I was lucky enough to win the contest then this model would be released as a future gift with purchase set. Here's the link to contest entry over on LEGO Ideas. VINTAGE YELLOW TAXICAB The trunk can be opened to provide plenty of space for luggage. there is enough space inside the taxi to seat three minifigures. Here's a pic showing the taxi alongside 2 of my MOC modular buildings which are both also on LEGO Ideas, Bricks & Blooms and Brick Town Police Station. [/Edit] Hi all, this is the second batch of the vintage cars series (more vehicles to follow). I have moved the last one (not yet indexed) to this thread. So the first thread (see http://www.eurobrick...opic=73182&st=0) contains 9 vehicles now. #10: Vintage Truck (Gangster Version) A simplified version of the more colourful Vintage Truck you can find here (#9). The presentation is strongly influenced by the amazing work of LegoManiac over on Flickr. Here you can see the vehicle in action. Don't ask me what's all this stuff, I don't ask them either. More pice here. #11: Vintage Fire Truck No openable doors, no detachable roof, no suspension, no steering - but a nice steering wheel and column ;-) This started as a mod of the fire engine from Fire Brigade 10197 but ended quite differently, although I have kept some details (e.g. the ladder). I really love the original truck but it didn't fit within the other vintage cars. I am not too fond of this kind of fenders, I must say - but since it's a truck the height is okay, I think. Couldn't think of a different solution here. 1920's Mad Scientist Mansion - modular 75930 MOD with vintage car

I was inspired to create this model from the 2018 Jurassic World set 75930, Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate, with some design cues from set 10228, Haunted House. The dollhouse-style model was built from the set pictures, with the play features removed and opening rear sections added to match the front half. The model also features the round "time window" for the mad scientist's experiments, along with lightning rods on top of the house. (for powering his experiments) Here is the in-universe backstory for the house and the enigmatic Doctor Harold Wormwood: This badly-preserved photograph (from April 1st, 1926) is all that physically remains of the infamous Wormwood Estate, reportedly taken just two weeks ways before Dr. Harold Wormwood started his time-window device for the first / last time, which resulted in a massive flash of light, leveling the mansion and leaving a large crater in the middle of the surrounding Louisiana bayou. Nothing remained of the building, the machine, or the Doctor in the immediate area, and it seems no noise was made during the explosion. Some crackpot "experts" of the time believed that the time window caused the house and grounds to move out of time itself, moving either forwards or backwards depending on the machine's setting. Of course, the truth may never be known, as the sunken crater is now filled with water (and alligators) from the nearby bayou... ...and here is the same picture without the special Google Images filters. The rear of the mansion features a conservatory and the chimney flue. The house folds apart, with the rear section opening in quarters up to 90 degrees, while the conservatory opens up to 180 to allow for figure placement. (Technic pins hold the model shut for transport and ease of handling) The bottom floor features the living room, while the second floor is the bedroom, with bed and pipe organ, plus a beating the still-heart of Dr. Wormwood's beloved deceased wife, Myrtle. The third floor features more crazy experiments, plus the stairway to his greatest achievement, the time window! The right rear quarter features the conservatory and some furniture on the second and third floors. This section also has stairs from first to second floors. The left rear quarter features the fireplace and a frozen fly monster that is all that remains of his first teleportation window project. The stairs to the third floor are also on this side. This car was originally designed by Tom.Netherton1 from Flickr as his Mercedes-Benz SSK 'Count Trossi' (seen here ) I heavily modified it into the car seen here, and it still needs some work to match the online version. It is fitted it with a single driver's seat, spare tire, and a reddish brown paint scheme. The rear of the model features a spare tire and license plate, plus it fits a figure in the drivers seat. This concludes the post for now, as the real life house is on the to-build list, while the car is already (mostly) built in real bricks. A MOC of a vintage sports car. It has a removable roof. This one is 6 brick wide I think all the parts are available in this colour and I have not made it in real life. I have a Stud.io file if any one would like to make it

Hello and thanks a lot for checking out our latest collaboration! This project features a highly detailed replica of the iconic 1968 Fiat 500 F! Produced from 1957 to 1975 the Cinquecento is considered one of the first real city cars. Read more here. Consisting of 1157 pieces (all add-ons included) this model would be the ultimate for any fan of the Italian legend and definitely a great addition to any Lego collection. The major features are: -detailed exterior with custom prints such as the fiat logo and several prints on the back end -openable hood, trunk and doors -sun-roof (closed and opened) -removable luggage-rack on the back end -suitcase with a bottle and a glass inside -detailed trunk with spare wheel, fuel tank, car jack and a toolbox -engine compartment with a detailed 500cc straight twin engine -detailed interior with movable seats, pedals, handbrake as well as custom prints for the dashboard and the speedometer As mentioned above the proposal for the set includes two sun-roofs which can be interchanged to have the roof either opened or closed.
