  1. Hi Everyone, This is my first post in a very long time. I've had a prolonged hiatus from building MOCs (since having children) and until recently I hadn't really built anything on my own since about 2013. I discovered Tim Johnson's excellent New Elementary blog in December and have been an avid reader ever since. During January, Tim put out a call for new contributors for one of his 'parts festivals', this one revolving around the usage of the newly introduced Nexo Knights power shield (part no.27255). I was one of the lucky few to be selected to contribute and have made a couple of builds now. Most recently, for the May 4th celebrations I built a midi? scale Millennium Falcon, using "nexogons" as an inner structure to build off of. I thought I would share it here for your comments and also hopefully to introduce some of you to New Elementary. There are more pics and a bit of description here. I also designed some stickers for the cockpit and rear thrusters. I hope you like my attempt at the falcon and look forward to seeing any comments. Thanks!

    [MOC] Renault R26 & Ferrari 248 F1

Inspired by the good old Ferrari Racers theme, I rearranged the design, created some stickers, and this was the result: Renault R26 Ferrari 248 F1 More cars here: http://bricksetforum...990-2006#latest
  3. Red Bull F1 RB12 from 2016 season. Speed Champions style. This is a beta version, stickers were created by me. More cars here http://bricksetforum...custom-stickers
  4. For this MOC, the difficulty was to insert the electric components but to have a light and good design. The choice of a buggy was chose because the design is quite light, and it is more simple to have a good performance. I have made custom stickers to have a better look. Steering is done by a servomotor. Driving is done by 2 L motors. It is better performant than just 1 XL, because 2 L have a better acceleration and more power. And they were easier to place Inside the chasis. The suspension is very efficiency. It is smooth and reactive. At front, there is independent susension. At rear, there is a suspended axle. The chasis is very, very light. The basis is done around just 4 beams. The complete buggy (train's battery box included) weights 495 grams.
  5. HI! Today i want to present you my new work - Aircraft Tug XL I started this project a year ago, but bring to mind it succeeded only now. Meet Aircraft Tug XL (Pushback tug/Tractor tug). The model is an extension of the project Aircraft Tug 2014, many of which I am personally not satisfied, and therefore had an idea to build something more functional, large and attractive. Thus was born the Aircraft Tug XL. Machines of this kind is mainly used at airports when towing aircrafts to parking or vice versa - to the runway. I think everyone who has ever been in the large airports, have seen similar tugs. Less a similar technique can be found in seaports or any other freight terminals that require towing heavy loads. This truck has four-wheel drive by two XL motors, independent steering front and rear axle on two servo motors, lifting mechanism cabin, as well as a system of four mechanical jacks driven by two motors L. Full remote management for that answer 3 infrared receiver, and power models provide two large battery pack located on the sides, and of course, he has V10 on board! The functional copy of the tractor completely original machine. The layout of the indoor units I came as close to real. Dimensions: D / W / H 56/27/15 stud. 445/220/120 mm. The model is made of 100% Lego parts except stickers - I made them their own. The basis of design I took the logo of the Khabarovsk airport - in the form of a flying bear. In Russia bears do not just walk down the street with balalykas, but also know how to fly :) I also worked on the detailed cabin from the outside to the inside. Now, in contrast to the previous tractor, the door is open, there is a full salon, which are two fire extinguishers, driver's seat and the passenger, levers, steering wheel, and monitor devices. Tractor turned quite powerful, as you can see by watching video. In practice, it is able to move from his seat and dragged to drag a weight of not less than 6 kg, as long as the batteries have been good charge :) You may see more information and photos on my blog
  6. My son and I were very excited when Heroica and board games came out. They were fun and interesting and had lots of customizations open. We started to play around and also watch for new sets but a while back Lego announced that the board game line is now discontinued. We want more heroes and monsters so have been going nuts with making stickers. They allow for quick customization, many different humanoids, and don't damage the original ink. Heads and bodies can be swapped also. Works great! There are many other pics posted at the Knotty Toad Custom Lego facebook page, and under Heroica X on flickr.
