  1. Corlander commanders took advantage of a string of windy days to drill their artillery units using real world physics. ------------------- OOC: Another in a series of small () builds I have planned using my recent redcoat microfigure creations
  2. My son and I were very excited when Heroica and board games came out. They were fun and interesting and had lots of customizations open. We started to play around and also watch for new sets but a while back Lego announced that the board game line is now discontinued. We want more heroes and monsters so have been going nuts with making stickers. They allow for quick customization, many different humanoids, and don't damage the original ink. Heads and bodies can be swapped also. Works great! There are many other pics posted at the Knotty Toad Custom Lego facebook page, and under Heroica X on flickr.

    Avell Castle

Built for this year's Mini Castle Contest. Finally got me a cause to build microscale, and finally the contest returned. Once again it makes me realise that microscale is what I like building the most, no doubt about it. The contest's scale was game-fig, but I took the liberty of making my own miniminifigures instead. For some reason I don't really like the look of game figs, so it was a fine challenge to think of something new. Flickr Brickshelf (full gallery) Enjoy!
  4. Back in the good old days before the High King's throne was thrown into peril, jousting tournaments were held quite regularly. A Kaliphlin champion faces off with a Mitgardian defender! The Herald announces the competitors. The Kaliphlin knight's squire holds his horse at one end of the lists: And the Mitgardian prepares at the other end! Comments are welcome, this will probably be my last free-build for a while. I wasn't very happy myself with the tan SNOT base, I think it would have been better green, but I didn't have the pieces so there wasn't much I could do! Thanks for looking!

    [LDD] Hawken-like Mech

Was just tinkering with different cockpits for microfigs. Had a feeling that I need to improve and here it is. Hawken-like Mech by The Mugbearer, on Flickr Microfig Hawken-like Mech.lxf Appreciably smaller than any of my previous models, pretty compact. Based on Hawken, one of the best multiplayer Mecha shooters I know. =D Equipped with auto-gun, rocket launcher (Possibly basic TOW launcher from the game) and repair drone
