  1. Location: Stormhaven Type: Small Commercial Stormhaven was a small settlement, and for a long time goods had been brought directly in by Corrington. Stormhaven Waymart by North White, on Flickr That had changed when the WTC set up a Waymart in the settlement, forcing the settlement's locals to buy from them. Stormhaven Waymart by North White, on Flickr Today, a Nameren Businessman had arrived to do business with the WTC. Stormhaven Waymart by North White, on Flickr "No, I don't want a #&$#ing loyalty card!" muttered a disgruntled Marine. "But it gets you discounts!" Said a WTC lackey who was loitering in the store. Stormhaven Waymart by North White, on Flickr The Marine stormed out, as the Businessman entered. Certainly, there was something to discuss.... FIN Thanks for viewing my build! I stole a technique from @Ayrlego for the siding, which I think turned out very nicely. I wish I could of done the design for the mangroves that the other builders in Stormhaven did, but alas I did not have the pieces. I hope they look alright. C&C appreciated!
  2. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Rebuilding Studcount: 16x32 (512) After the Tsunami, most of the water receded. however, one district of Mesabi Landing, Uptown, was reclaimed by the water. Mesabi Landing Repairs by North White, on Flickr Mordo and Captain Angles explored the waterlogged buildings by boat, while a Marine tried to make the best of the situation. Mesabi Landing Repairs by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my build. Again, thanks to @Elostirion for his suggestions and recommendations. The idea behind this one was inspired by the flooded district of the game dishonoured, and I hope to do more with the concept. I just ordered 100 1x2 trans blue tiles for future projects, as I barely had enough to cover this build. C&C appreciated!
  3. Location: Port Raleigh Type: Small Residence/Shiplevels With the HMS Red Angel, docked in the harbour, Captain Ansa Mesabi disembarked and walked up the hill towards a mansion now owned by her infamous brother. Ansa knocked on the door. She wasn't quite sure what to expect, as it had been at least 3 years since she'd seen him last. "Hello?" asked Darby Tyler, "Who are you?" "I'm Captain, err, Count Mesabi's sister." she said. "I figured we had some catching up to do." "Oh..." Said Darby. "This is awkward. He's literally never mentioned you." "We're not super close." Said Ansa. "Well, I'll go grab him." Said Darby. "No need, Darby." Said the Count. "I was eavesdropping, because I was bored. Tell my sister to come in!" Darby ushered Ansa in, and walked down the hallway, muttering about finances. Ansa and the Count walked into the den, and sat down. "So, what have you been up to?" Asked the Count. "Well, I was assigned a ship. Sailed it into the Sea Rat Capital. Admiralty board was not happy about it." said Ansa. "Ha! I've been there. Well, I haven't, but I remember back in the Juniper War..." The Count was interrupted. "You do realize I fought in the Juniper War, right?" replied Ansa snarkily. "Right. Go on." said the Count, sheepishly. "Anyways, than I tried to assassinate the Dread Pirate Sinbad with Strychnine poison. Turns out he's immune to it." said Ansa, referring to an unfortunate incident on a dock in Bastion. "Wait, how is that even possible?" Asked the Count. "I don't #%&#ing know, he's #&%$ing Sinbad. I just went with it, and accepted his terms." said Ansa annoyed. "They let me keep most of our ships." "What did you lose?" asked the Count. "Oh, just some WTC ship." Said Ansa referring to the class 7 WTC Judgement, which currently was being used to wreak havoc across the Brick Seas. "Not the big one, right?" asked the Count. "ANYWAYS" continued Ansa, avoiding the topic. "I've been dry docked for the past few months. Like I said, the Admiralty Board isn't very happy with me. I barely got permission to travel to Port Raleigh." "Well, apparently my wife has been causing all sorts of grief with the Government, so I guess we're in the same boat." replied the Count. "Wait, are you still married to that lady who-" asked Ansa recalling a particularly unpleasant experience involving a cannon at a wedding. "Yes." replied the Count "Even after she-" asked Ansa recalling a different but equally unpleasant experience involving the queen, a diplomat from Eslandola, and a cat. "Yes." replied the Count "Prometheus! No wonder you went all the way from the South." replied Ansa "Yeah..." said the Count. "Hey, you want to get a Drink? Those Lotti in town have a place with Sake, it's booze made out of rice." "Eh, why not. I also have that paperwork for the ship licenses you wanted. replied Ansa "Splendid! Let's get going! Said the Count TO BE CONTINUED Thanks for viewing my build! I decided to finally actually get the WTC some ship levels, and what better way to do it than to actually show the Count interacting with his family. I haven't used Ansa Mesabi much, but I thought it would be interesting to have her in the same room as the Count. I referenced the Sinbad incident, which I never fully resolved. But I'd like to give a shoutout to @MKJoshA who let me keep most of my ships, and thus kept this character from being stuck in Bastion. I've also tried to tie in some other story elements with this build. You'll notice a Tiberian Puffin, from the Reckoning Storyline, along with the Count's Golden Sniper Rifle, and a Promethean Stained Glass window. Continuity is key! Let me know what Ya'll think of this one. I tried to use some good techniques for the floors, but the walls are probably a bit bland. A lot of my pieces are tied up in my last build, which I need approved by the Court for repairs on Mesabi Landing. I've done a build every day for the last few days, but tomorrow I start my new job, so things will slow down from me, back to, well, the rate the rest of you build at. As usual, C&C appreciated!
  4. Location: N/A Type: Class 4 Ship WTC Libertine by North White, on Flickr The WTC Libertine had a long history. Built as an Oleander Snow around the turn of the century, the ship was sold to Telvoki trader, who used it to smuggle for Corrington during the Juniper War. WTC Libertine by North White, on Flickr The ship had been bought by the WTC, who kept the blue colour scheme, and renamed it. WTC Libertine by North White, on Flickr The Ship was to be assigned to Captain Angles, whose' original ship, The Checkered Past, was far to leaky to be used as a trade ship. WTC Libertine by North White, on Flickr The ship was quite well stocked, favouring hauling and smuggling over combat. WTC Libertine by North White, on Flickr But the WTC had plans for this ship... Fin Thanks for viewing my new ship! I was heavily inspired by @Captain Braunsfeld's ship, and you'll probably notice a lot of similarities. Yes, blue is super historically inaccurate as a colour scheme, but I had the white and blue hulls, and I really like how it turned out. I think the one thing I don't like is the Rigging pieces, I wish I had the long ones, but unfortunately, I only have the short one's so I doubled up. I probably won't do custom rigging on this, but I do plan to make some sails for it, at some point. I'd like this to count for Task 2 of Category 3 of the GOC. Please let me know any suggestions for her, I'm calling her finished, but if anyone has any suggestions for making her better, I will work on implementing them. @Bregir, @Ayrlego, @SilentWolf, and @Captain Dee, let me know what you guys think too.
  5. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Factory Literacy rates continue to climb in Mesabi Landing, as a wide selection of books were printed in Mesabi Landing's printing factory Book Making by North White, on Flickr In a small outbuilding, Tony oversaw the typesetting onto the printing plate. Book Making by North White, on Flickr In the main building, Captain Angles made sure that all the steps of production were done according to plan. Book Making by North White, on Flickr Type was put onto each press, and paper underneath it. Book Making by North White, on Flickr Each press imprinted the words onto paper, and the printed pages were stacked in piles. Book Making by North White, on Flickr Pages were stacked in order, and bound with horse glue, and covered with a horse leather cover. Book Making by North White, on Flickr Soon, another load of books would be sent out to the Brick seas... FIN Thanks for viewing this build! C&C appreciated!

  7. Near the center of King's Harbour, a small admiralty office is located. In here, rear-admiral Fletcher is dictating official dispatches to a clerk after having read this season's reports from the fleet. "And next... To Lieutenant Lavendwood, HMS Intrepid" he says, waiting for the clerk to catch up on his notes. "Based on your recent efforts in bringing down the piratical fleets of the notorious Bluebeard, and your long time achievements in command of the King's Harbour gunboats, it is my pleasure and duty to promote you commander in her Majesty's Royal Navy effective 1st of January, 619 AE. In leiu of a suitable command (as none are currently available on this station), it is decided to rerate the HMS Intrepid to sloop of war. This may seem merely a formality, but until such a time that a suitable command becomes available, at least it will afford you the comfort of a sloop of war being allotted one additional lieutenant aboard to stand watches etc." After pausing to let the clerk catch up, he continues: "I give you joy of your promotion and shall keep you informed, should a suitable command become available." @Flavius Gratian "That will be all sir?" the clerk asks. "Not at all! Inform Captain Cooke to make all available warships ready for sail at a moments notice, should they be ordered to Mesabi Landing. And have extra contingents of marines prepare to board" "To teach those Oleanders a lesson, should they take matters into their own hands against the WTC!?" beams the clerk with a martial smile upon his face. Shooting lighting from under his bushy brows, Fletcher growls: "Have your wits about you, man! No, to take care of any piratical leanings on account of the WTC and set the settlements to rights, should they have no satisfactory explanation! WTC crews have endangered peace with Oleon and committed acts of piracy!" Sighing, the rear-admiral mumbles to himself: "At least Montoya has returned. It would seem his services might be very much needed shortly..." Flethcher's comments to the recent MRCA results. Good cop/bad cop in one and the same person! :)

Then she blew it up with a cannon." "Eye two am fleeing from my wife." Said Dmitri, "She is much liek your woman." "I'm still not sure why you need an accountant to travel to the new world." Muttered Darby. "Well, someone needs to count the amount of TNT we have." Said Samantha wryly. "I did. It's a lot. Why do we need TNT to discover a new world?" Asked Darby "Darby, I think you know why." Said the Count. Darby did not, but realized he would never get an answer. FIN

  10. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Commercial Mordo drove the cargo wagon across the elevated railway through Mesabi Landing. As Chief Officer of Human Resources it was his job to inspect the railways that made Mesabi Landing the Awesome powerhouse of industry that it was. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr He followed the rails over the bridge to the loading dock, where large ships were set to be loaded. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr Meanwhile, the streets of Mesabi Landing were busy as usual, street cars and coaches traveled the many roads of the great city. Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my build. I also don't really have the space to photograph it effectively, that's my couch in the background. C&C appreciated.
  11. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Artisan It was evening in Mesabi Landing. Shadows stretched across the sand as Princess Isabella, Countess Agnes Mesabi, and Mordo walked to a pub. Waterfront in Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr "The Count has returned to known territory, and he has an... interesting... proposal." Said Mordo, not revealing his thoughts on the matter. "Yes, but this won't change anything with our plans for Gondova, will it?" asked Isabella with concern. Waterfront in Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr "No, and we're agreeing to his proposal. We just need the Queen to agree. If that's even possible..." Said Agnes. "We leave for Gonda tomorrow. We take the Red Queen, The Icarus Returning, the Destroying Angel, and as many troops as we can raise." Waterfront in Mesabi Landing by North White, on Flickr The three entered the pub. The pool players took one look at who had walked in, and offered their sticks to Agnes and the Princess. "Didn't you say that yesterday?" asked Mordo Continuing the story is @Drunknok... And while Agnes enjoyed herself, Mordo had some other business to do right behind the pub. Agnes playing... ... Mordo leaving through the back door. . "Listen you two, this must not fall back on me. You get paid well, and you keep your mouths shut - if you know what is good for you. Take care of that thing with the guy in the place... make it look like an accident. You know... the usual." "Aye, Mr. M.!" Later on, the crowd left one by one, Agnes Mesabi was still playing, getting more drunk by the minute, slowly losing patience with the balls: . Mesabi Landing AMCRA by North White, on Flickr "Yes Ma'm!" They said in unison. FIN C&C appreciated. This will be licensed as a commercial by Mesabi Landing, and I plan to use it as Agnes's office for the future. Yes, it's a modified version of the Dr. Strange Set. So, it probably looks better than most of my regular builds.
  14. The Brick Seas are a rough place, that much is for certain. The Wayfarer Trading Company did its best to make them a safer space. But despite their succes in hunting down pirates, potential dangers were still everywhere. A war between Prio and the Sea Rats had just been averted, but oerall tensions were still high. Mesabi Landing had to stay safe. So it was decided to invest in a series of large fortifications, with the first one guarding the harbour. Three others would follow, being set up around the settlement, protecting it in all directions, shielding it from any attack. This first fortress was named West Shield: Observation Point Main Battery Minor Battery Delta Storage Level Mobile Defense ======================================================================= A large fortress for Mesabi Landing, licensed by the WTC. Build sizes are as follows: Observation Point: 32x32 Main Battery: 32x32 Minor Battery Delta: 16x32 Storage Level: 32x32 Mobile Defense: 16x32 It all adds up to 64x64, i.e. the footprint of a large fort. Each build is supposed to be one section of the fort, but not in the way that they would be combined into one single structure. Imagine that each of these is exemplary for similr structures in West Shield, and that there are parts of the fort you do not get to see. As always, C&C are appreciated!

TO BE CONTINUED thanks for viewing my build. July was a busy month for me, I recently got an apartment, and spent the week getting stuff moved in. This was the last build I did at my old place, and it sat for about 2 weeks before I finally found the time to post it. 16. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Class 8 Ship Destroying Angel by North White, on Flickr Having been launched, the WTC's largest ship, the Destroying Angel now floated majestically in the harbour of Mesabi Landing. Destroying Angel by North White, on Flickr Agnes and the Ship's Designer walked along the deck, discussing the mighty vessel. Destroying Angel by North White, on Flickr "How is a vessel with 6 cannons worthy of the name "Destroying Angel?!?" Asked Agnes angrily. "Maybe you should have waited before naming it!" Yelled the designer. "This ship was built as a speedy, long range, maneuverable, gunboat. Not a Hard Hitting Warship." "Easy now-" Agnes was interrupted. "DON'T QUESTION MY DESIGNS EVER AGAIN!" Yelled the Designer. The tour continued in silence until they reached the conference room. Destroying Angel by North White, on Flickr "As you requested, a fully stocked bar, and a conferance room for directing WTC operations." "Excellent." replied Agnes. Destroying Angel by North White, on Flickr The Majestic Ship would soon see action against the Pirates of the Brick Seas... ...except for Sinbad thanks to the reckless actions of Ansa Mesabi... FIN So, finally finished the destroying angel, which I had working on since around November. I recently finished it up and spent the day doing rigging in sails, and I will say the following. Sails are $#@%$#@%$%$#@%#@%$#@%@#%#@%@#%@#^&*&*^(^%#@$$#@^&&(&^%#$$@#$ing difficult to do. And mine look absolutely terrible. They also took me like 6 hours to do, as well as a major chunk of my sanity. So I am not going to fix them anytime soon. Otherwise, I'm mostly happy with the rigging, and the ship as a whole. I tried to follow @Bregir's suggestions for the ship, and worked hard to give her a nice tumblehouse. I also added my own little interior for when I need a conference scene when I'm fighting pirates. C&C appreciated, though the sails are awful. I understand.

The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr It slid down the rails into the water. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr And with that, the WTC had another ship. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing this massive build I did. The hard part wasn't building it, but photographing it in my tiny room was damn near impossible. I'd like to license this as a royal factory for the WTC. As this requires a charter, I hereby apply for it. I hope that this build meets the requirements for a royal build. The footprint is 96x96, which is lower than the 100x100 requirement, but I feel this is a little arbitrary, and hope leadership would agree. If you would like it to be 100x100, I can add a 32x32 section to the factory. As for the quality, I have put my best foot forward with the pieces I have, and I hope leadership would allow for this to be considered of royal quality. If it is not, well, I'll just license 3 large factories this month. C&C appreciated, as usual.
  22. Location: Poorvintia (Carno) Type: Freebuild A scream and a thud startled the secretary of records in Poorvintia. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr 2 figures burst into the room of records "Who are you? What do you want!" the secretary cowered. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr With a whack he fell to the floor. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr "Sister, was that really necessary? The man was cowering." Asked Captain Luca Gray "I would have thought that you would support an act of malevolence against a Carnivore." Said his sister, Maria Gray "We came here for information. Nothing more nothing less." replied Captain Gray "And information we shall take at all costs." his sister replied They began gathering up the papers. Soon, the WTC Icarus Returning had left Poorvintia. The two watched the settlement disappear over the horizon. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr "Loti Junks facing Carnivorian warships. Who do you suppose attacked first?" Asked Maria "A question for the ages, but that is not our business. Our business is to make sure they do not claim the entire region for their own." replied Luca "Another task for the WTC." Said Maria. FIN Thanks for viewing my story build introducing some new characters (even though I already have a ton.) C&C appreciated as always, and I can't wait to further this story.
  23. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Prospecting Coal continued to be found in Mesabi Landing in bucketfuls. But today, A WTC explosive experts prepared another attempt to find the minerals of Argentia. More prospecting by North White, on Flickr "This is not at all safe." Said a Corrish Soldier "Relax, what's the worst that could happen!" said the Explosives expert More prospecting by North White, on Flickr A massive pile of explosives sat next to a rock More prospecting by North White, on Flickr The Corrish soldier ran, saying nothing. The Explosive expert lit the fuse, and ran. KABOOOOOOOOM More prospecting by North White, on Flickr Just another day in Mesabi Landing FIN Here's to not getting coal (or stone)
  24. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Artisan It was another busy day in Mesabi Landing, the largest Corrish settlement, and the fourth largest on the Brick Seas. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr The Railway intersected a busy road, where stagecoatches and wagons ferried goods and services across the massive settlement. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr The Aqueduct, finally operational, moved precious water from the lake to the north to a system of pipes under the city. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr As the settlement had grown, styles had changed, and plastering houses had become all the rage. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr Meanwhile, in the "Where are my pants?" Laundromat, an operator sat while his assistant scrubbed clothes. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr Elsewhere, a worker took a siesta in a small residence. Hydrological Harvesting part II by North White, on Flickr Yes, Mesabi Landing was the best Corrish settlement. FIN Thanks for viewing my build. I chose to license this as an artisan, as there really isn't a category for "aqueducts." I really had fun with this build, and it was nice to show all the vehicles on a street, even though half of them are from London Escape. C&C appreciated
  25. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Factory Argentia, while mostly dry and baron, was home to a small lake on the north side of the Island. Today, Agnes and Mordo hiked out to the far reaches, where a new factory had been set up. Hydrological Harvesting by North White, on Flickr A large crane helped unload the railcar, next to the side of the factory. Hydrological Harvesting by North White, on Flickr The factory had a hand cranked Brickimedes screw to pump water into the factory. Hydrological Harvesting by North White, on Flickr Inside, the water was boiled and put into bottles, fresh from the bottle factory down the road. Hydrological Harvesting by North White, on Flickr And so, the WTC continued to make money by exploiting the world's resources. FIN So, I'm back after a long hiatus, involving finals, mono, organizing, and cleaning. Hope you enjoyed this factory, and the continued efforts of the WTC to become your overlords be productive members of the Brick Seas.
