  1. *Your entry has earned 3 XP* For some time, Imperial Triumvirate equipment has found its way to the core worlds. So much so that certain crates has been equipped with tracking devices. This has lead to a number of arrests on core worlds. Species: Abyssin from Byss (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Abyssin) A closer look:
  2. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* Diplomacy Mission Report from Cdr. Bannon: After positive negotiations with the hutts in the vicinity of Triumvirate territory, the hutts have agreed to give the Jilruans their partial independence. This means that Jilruans are free of any previous bondage to the hutts, but the hutts will maintain their presence and power on Jilrua. In the wake of these events several Jilruans has pledged their allegiance to the Imperial Triumvirate. I am sure we can put these renowned warriors to good use. Species: Jilruan from Jilrua (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jilruan/Legends) And a few detailed shots - let me know what you think...
  3. *Your entry has earned 9 XP* Mission Log from Lt. Markland: On a personal note, I never thought I would be working with the Hutts, when I signed up for the Imperial Academy on Carida. Luckily Cdr. Bannon has put me in charge of restocking our arms supply. I’d rather be the one dictating terms to the Hutts, rather than turning a blind eye and fleeing to a more polished part of the Imperial Triumvirate. Some time before on Nanth’ri’s southern hemisphere… Lt. Markland: One Zeta-class cargo shuttle is already loaded. The rest will be loaded onto the Lambda. This should be enough weapons to supply the remainder of the Lannik garrison... Exalted Kabani, the manifest states that payment will be taken care of personally by Cdr. Bannon. What does that mean? Kabani the Hutt: Nobata uta-sha tinka mah kikyuna. Eh eh eh... Lt. Markland: Your lordship, it is my concern if I am to make sure the Imperial Triumvirate continues to use your connections for supplying weapons. Kabani the Hutt: Chuba! Spee ek uta-sha Bannon. Lt. Markland: Mmph… I will do that! A pleasure doing business with you, Lord Kabani… Kabani the Hutt: Jee huujah uba Spasteelya kyotopa Circumtore mah kikyuna… Eh eh eh… Lt. Markland: Thank you my lord. Your hospitality is most gracious. Excerpt from Lt. Markland’s Mission Log: Kabani the Hutt seem to have an extensive network of smugglers and mercenaries on his payroll. I have only managed to identify a few of them from the imperial database. Cpt. Augost, a male twi’lek, and seemingly the less charming part of a gun running smuggler duo. Former entries going decades back suggests he has death sentences in several outer rim systems. The other part of the smuggler duo, Vakál, male human. Vakál’s record lists him as a notorious con man. Wanted for participating in the Scipio Heist, whatever that is. The last individual I’ve been able to ID, is Djina, female zeltron bounty hunter, working as muscle and bodyguard for Kabani. Nothing in the records, but I’ve heard that she is among the most expensive bounty hunters on this side of the Hydian way. Species: Shell Hutt (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Shell_Hutts) /// This one was a lot of fun - ecspecially the Hutt character. I've spend some time on his dialogue to make it as close to real huttese as possible. Even if you don't understand huttese you should be able to get the dialogue from Lt. Marklands answers... The structure itself was also real fun - trying to capture hutt architecture. A snot platform and an awning made from a lego parachute... Lots of details and props... Enjoy and please comment and criticizes... As always - behind the scenes shots below:
  4. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Diplomacy Mission Report from Grand General, Warlord Ral Hathe: Sometimes diplomacy is best achieved through a show of strength. I have successfully negotiated an alliance with one of the Krish chieftains on Sanza. He will make sure the remaining chieftains fall in line against us staking a hunting game tour across some of our worlds. He has insisted on my participation… This should be fun! Species: Krish (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Krish_(species)/Legends)
  5. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* The Rishii is known to stick to their own business and rarely mingle with offworlders. To our luck, the Iron Beak, a notorious merchant guild, has agreed to pave the way for an imperial outpost in some of the settlements they control. This should be the beginning of a fruitful relationship... Species: Rishii (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Rishii)
  6. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Mission Log from Cdr. Bannon: My first orders after the rendezvous at Nixor was to negotiate an alliance with the Aqualish of Ando. Ever since they joined the separatists during the Clone Wars, the Aqualish has been recovering as a species. We are offering them an alliance that will position their world as the uncontested capital of the sector. With some assistance the Aqualish will make a strong strategic ally of the Imperial Triumvirate, and an excellent workforce… Species: Aqualish (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Aqualish) /// So this was a really interesting and challenging build. The seabed is supposed to match the colors of the planet Ando (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ando/Legends). 7. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* After several months of increasing alien immigration to core worlds, several Imperial remnant worlds are introducing the ATA (Alien Travel Authorization). The ATA is a mandatory travel document that allows aliens to travel freely from and to imperial worlds. Immigration Report from Checkpoint B13-84: In accordance with the Imperial ATA, Guineos have been placed on the restricted list. This means that all Guineos are to be detained and escorted back to their homeworld Dohlban. All inquiries regarding Guineo travel authorization must be reported to the Imperial Triumvirate administration on Daalang. Species: Guineo (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Guineo)
  8. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* Report from Ootmian Pabol patrol vessel, The Huntress: We intercepted an unregistered pirate freighter from Zirulast drifting several parsecs away from the Ootmian Pabol route. To our luck the freighter was disabled and onboard we found the fugitive Temolak Kralblok Darf. The fugitive is being processed and brought to the dungeon ship orbiting Molavar. 10. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Diplomacy Mission Report from Cdr. Goren: The planet Ota has proven to be a prime prospect for a new supply base, despite the harsh climate. The local Snogar seem to be very interested in our technology and has agreed to our presence against technological assistance and weapons. High command has agreed to their terms, however I do not like the idea of us risking arming a local rebellion. We must take certain precautions to establish an unchallenged presence. /// This is my version of the Snogar (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Snogar) And a few detailed shots:
  11. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Diplomacy Mission Report from Cdr. Calun: We have successfully established an initial agreement with the Sauvax that warranting our presence on their homeworld. Against a generous amount of continuing supplies, they have agreed to one imperial inland base. 12. *Your entry has earned 7 XP* Excerpt from Cdr. Storr’s log: After we chased Jol Dixun out of the system I tasked the two bounty hunters, the Weequay slavehunter Ack’natuu and The Sling, with shadowing the criminal. They tracked his ship to Raltiir, where they followed him to a den associated with the Hutts. I will follow up on this lead with our hutt connections. I’ve told the bounty hunters to bring in Jol for some ‘friendly’ interrogation. /// Let me know what toy thing - more images and details below:
  13. *Your entry has earned 9 XP* Excerpt from Dr. Than’s journal: Notes on Antar sociology - After imperial forces on Antar has decreased, many Gotals have made their way to the core worlds in search of fortune or on pilgrimages to pay tribute to the New Republic. Recently I have observed several individual Gotals visiting anti-imperial sites like the Jedi memorial on Chandrila before eventually settling on a New Republic core world, with no intention of ever returning to Antar. I am displeased with this misplacement of loyalty, but I must admit I am intrigued by the prospects of Antar. First go at Ep. 3. Let me know what you think... And, as always - below are some behind the scenes, and details.
  14. *Your entry has earned 3 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Excerpt from the Cdr. Storr’s log: Onboard the Imperial Gladiator-class Star Destroyer. After weeks of scouring the outskirts of the Nanth’ri system, we have located the fugitive Jol Dixun and his ship, a YT-1100 Light Freighter to a remote moon. In our attempt to capture the criminal, Dixun was alerted to our presence and managed to pull off a daring escape. Our intention was never to capture the scum, but to place a tracking device on his ship to monitor his movement. We managed to display a convincing pursuit, even damaging his ship enough to limit his hyperdrive capabilities. Once the dust settles and he goes to ground, we will be right behind him. /// My last two micro-scale ships for this round. 15. *Your entry has earned 3 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* In order to ensure a fast buildup of the Imperial Triumvirate navy, several retired starships has been restored and modified with new technology. Several Acclamator-class assault ships, and some Venator-class Star Destroyers, has proven surprisingly sturdy and fit for service. /// I really like these Clone Wars/early Galactic Empire ships - very iconic. 16. *Your entry has earned 2 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* In order to establish a presence along the Trax Tube and across the entire sector, several command cruisers has been dispatched from Daalang. The modified Arquitens-class Command Cruisers has proven a favourite command ship among Triumvirate commanders. The starship is lighter and more nimble than the bigger destroyer counterparts, and serves the purpose perfectly. /// My first attempt at the Arquitens-class command cruiser. 17. The USS Florida Gator is a ship inspired by my Alma Mater. I have been hanging out here for a little while, but this is my first post and I would love some feedback. It was challenging trying to fit everything that I wanted with the narrow hull design, but I got creative. 18. *Your entry has earned 14 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: After the successful apprehension of the treacherous senator on Sarapin, I was invited to an audience with the Supreme Moff Barthol. Having nothing but reverence and respect for the Moff, I anxiously accepted. Onboard the Imperial Super Star Destroyer Resurrector Moff Barthol: Welcome young Bannon. We have been expecting you. We are looking forward to you joining our course in uniting imperial remnants. In time you will see that our ambitions are the same. Your service for Commenor has been noticed and we will grant you the rank of Commander in the service of the Imperial Triumvirate. Do you accept? Cpt. Bannon: Your highness, highnesses, It would be an honor to serve, restoring the glory of the empire. Prince Serion: Good. You will be reporting to us directly and act autonomously unless otherwise instructed by us. You will have men and a star destroyer under your command to carry out your missions. For a safe and secure society. Honoring the true imperial legacy, rising from the ashes, Tempered, Stronger, Reborn! - Supreme Moff Barthol The Triumvirate is an alliance of several imperial remnants all united under one banner. Loyal to the legacy of the emperor, and firm believers of restoring the empire to its former glory. Some remnants remain more independent than others, but all acknowledge and support the Triumvirs and regard the three as emissaries of the Emperor’s will. The Triumvirs The Triumvirs are the supreme authority in the Imperial Triumvirate. In some cases a triumvir has direct control of a specific department. The triumvirs each have their own agenda, but work towards the shared goal of an empire reborn. From left to right: The Crimson Duchess: The Crimson Duchess is the ruler of the mysterious Crim Dominion. Her mother also held the Crimson Duchess-title which seems to be handed down from mother to daughter, dating back generations. Rumor has it that the late emperor held the previous Duchess and the Crim Dominion in high regard. This could be the explanation for the deep imperial loyalty and military might of a relatively small system. Supreme Moff Barthol: A battle hardened war veteran who served the old Republic as a naval officer, and later the Galactic Empire as a highly decorated admiral and moff. Moff Barthol was personally appointed by the Emperor, to lead a highly secret mission into the Unknown Regions. Moff Barthol spent more than a decade in the unknown regions, only to return to an empire in disarray. Grand Prince Serion: Prince Serion was a former ISB Admiral and aristocrat hailing from Nacronis. In the final days of the Galactic Empire, Prince Serion played an integral part in Operation Cinder and the downfall of his homeworld Nacronis. Immediately after the destruction of Nacronis, Prince Serion staged a coup against two other unsuspecting admirals, and assumed control of their fleets, as well as the ground forces that had been stationed on Nacronis. The Prince quickly left the Nacronis system to avoid the New Republic, and made the rendezvous with Moff Barthol. Prince Serion ironically named his new army the Nacronis Protectorate. High Command The current High Command consists of nine commanders each responsible for a branch of the Imperial Triumvirate (e.g. politics, commerce, military). The high command only answers to the Triumvirs and together with the triumvirs, they are the ruling council of the Imperial Triumvirate. From left to right: Grand General, Warlord Ral Hathe: Chief of the Army Unknown Moff Iax Draenar: Regional Governor of Core Territories @Gubi0222 Director Rovv: Director of Security (ISB) Moff Kalypso Delstee: Chief Diplomatic Advisor @Simulterious Unknown Moff Pantoloc: Regional Governor of Outer Rim Territories Unknown Admiral Gable Karius: Head of Inquisition @marvelBoy123 Retired members of High Command: Grand Admiral Bryce (Detained, awaiting processing) Admiral Gull (Detained, awaiting processing) Grand Moff Jarl (Detained, awaiting processing) Grand Moff Huron (Detained, awaiting processing) Admiral Harr Sinier (Imprisoned, awaiting processing) Admiral Vori (Presumed dead) Officers: The Imperial Triumvirate is a large union of many different branches, departments, and agencies. Natural leaders, disciplined officers, and ambitious commanders are needed, in order to steer the union towards the shared goal of returning the empire to its former glory. You could find yourself among the senior commanders of the Imperial Triumvirate, leading the expansion to new parts of the galaxy, reclaiming former imperial worlds, or planning future covert military or diplomatic operations. Special Forces Units: The Imperial Triumvirate utilizes a wide variety of special forces and commando units. Although most of these units are continuations of existing branches of imperial forces (such as Storm Commandos, Special Forces, and Death Troopers), more specialized and unique special forces have been established since the union of Imperial remnants under the Imperial Triumvirate banner. You could find yourself among one of these new specialized squads, or you could be an Imperial Super Commando, Inquisitor, Imperial Hunter, or a Special Agent working as a lone wolf on highly classified missions. Stormtroopers: Although against New Republic sanctions on imperial military, the Triumvirate is secretly training new troops for the Stormtrooper Corps. You might be a veteran stormtrooper re-deployed to a young squad or one of the many specialist troopers like scout troopers or patrol troopers. The Army: The basic infantry of the imperial Triumvirate. You may find yourself among these grunts, recruited from young conscripts and volunteers, eager to serve the new regime that has united their worlds and brought stability in a time of uncertainty. These soldiers travel across the galaxy on expeditionary missions, spearheading the expansion of the Triumvirate. The Navy: In the fleet of the Triumvirate, you could find yourself among the naval troops, fighter or shuttle pilots, or even commandeering a star destroyer. The fleet is an integral part of of the Triumvirate dominion, and Star Destroyers often serve as base of operation. Ancillary Branches: The imperial Triumvirate is a well-oiled regime, you may find yourself among the supporting personnel that keeps the wheels turning. The Triumvirate ancillary branch includes engineers, researchers, and logistics personnel. Recruits of the Imperial Triumvirate HOW DO I JOIN? Send a PM to the faction leader Darth Bjorn, explaining why you wish to join the Imperial Triumvirate! Sign up now! The empire needs you! WHAT SHOULD MY BUILDS LOOK LIKE? As a faction rising from the remnants of the Galactic Empire and building on the same values, you should aim for a style that resembles imperial architecture, starships, crafts and equipment - like imperial garrison bases, imperial star destroyers or even AT-ATs and AT-STs. These could be heavily modified and improved since they might be salvaged or repurposed. Member of the Imperial Triumvirate should proudly display their allegiance to the faction. This can be done by adding small details as Triumvirate banners soaring above your moc, or your troopers wearing the custom pauldrons with the Imperial Triumvirate signet. In the grey bar below below you'll finde an overview of all the creative assets ready for printing to use in your mocs. WHERE CAN I BUILD? The Imperial Triumvirate is constantly expanding its territory. Below you will find a map of sectors, systems and hyperlandes accessible to the faction. You are allowed to build anywhere in the Star Wars galaxy, but only by building in accessible systems can you earn IPs for your faction. In order to further the faction's territory, all members of the Imperial Triumvirate is encouraged to earn IPs for the faction. Members of the Imperial Triumvirate can build in any system, where the faction has control or a presence (green and yellow systems). Members can also build on any system along the green hyperlanes and green sectors. Power, Strength, Loyalty! Enlist today! You can sign up for the Triumvirate in this thread!
  20. *Your entry has earned 21 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: Our original mission was to ensure the imperial energy supply from the drilling platforms on the surface of Sarapin. However, things took an unexpected turn, when we received a direct holo transmission from Moff Barthol. Barthols number one agent, Lord Amus has revealed that Senator Belrus is in league with the New Republic and that he is secretly scheming to undermine the Commenor Remnant. Personally I’ve always felt that Commenor has been a little too lenient with the New Rebuplic. Sometimes you’ve got to wonder - what happened to the glory of the Empire? Log update: We have received word that the treacherous Senator Belrus is in fact on Sarapin. How convenient that he is meeting with the administrator overseeing Sarapin mining. We have been instructed to rendezvous with Agent Amus and his men on the surface in order to capture the senator and return him to imperial custody. A few moments later on a landing platform at the Sarapin mining administrations headquarters… Cpt. Bannon: Senator! STOP! There’s nowhere to run! You are under arrest for treason against the Empire! Administrator Shatul: Kill hime! Kill ze traitor! Agent Amus: Sure would save us a lot of paperwork! But... Our job is to bring him in. Belrus: Yes! I surrender! Take me back to Commenor… I demand to talk to High Command! Cpt. Bannon: Right awa… Agent Amus: Would you like a cup of Jawa Juice as well? Your imperial rights was revoked the moment you sided with the Republic scum! Take him away! /// Phew! This one took some time, but I really feel my patience paid off. All the rock-work, lava and the platform has been done using SNOT technique, and the walls have been tilted. Let me know what you think! Any feedback and comments are welcome. :)
  21. *Your entry has earned 18 XP* Mission Log from Cpt. Bannon: As a part of establishing a diplomatic presence in the Core Worlds, the ISD Relentless is hosting a delegation of high standing members of the Chiss Ascendancy. Me and my crew have been tasked with showing our guests the inner workings of the Commenor Remnant fleet. We will do everything we can to display the hospitality, efficiency, and the supremacy of the Commenor Remnant. The Chiss is known for their skills in hand-to-hand combat. A skill also honored among us imperials. As I suspected they wanted to break the ice by testing ours against theirs. A test I looked very much forward too. Hopefully our guests will see the benefit in a strong alliance between the Chiss and us. /// Let me know what you think! ;)
  22. Nuts to the Falcon. The beautiful and graceful Lambda Shuttle has always been my favourite of all the Star Wars ships, and I'm delighted to present my LEGO minifigure-scaled version of this wonder. Didn't you already make one of these, Ru? Yes I did, and well-remembered! It was ten years ago, and a large part of the reason I joined EB in the first place. You can see it here. I revised it a coupe of years later but never publicised the update; you can see it here here (link to flickr folder). I had always intended to go back and tweak the original; however this is a totally new MOC. I started working on it back in 2016, but then we moved house and the LEGO went into storage for a couple of years. front The overall scale of this version is similar to my earlier version, and like the former is based around using the 6x3 vertical windscreen also found in 2015's System-scaled Shuttle Tydirium. The other major factor is the height of the rounded sides of the body: I've used the 4-wide cylinders to give what I think is the best approximation to the real thing. These are attached via a fairly complicated variety of SNOT techniques to a ten plate-high body. Not all the parts are (yet) available in white (the macaroni tiles now are, but not the 4x4 round plates with 2x2 hole), hence the splashes of grey at the sides (or trans-clear in one spot). Starboard The wings are a composite of Technic liftarms and plates. I chose this to keep the weight of the wings down; even built like this I had to work quite hard to prevent the wings flopping down too easily. Some more views: Rear High I've tried quite hard to make this accurate to the movies. There are actually two distinct versions in the movie canon - the sleek ILM model used in the space scenes, and the shorter droopier-nosed version which featured in the Home One hangar scene. The cause of this discrepancy is apparently due to the set designers at Elstree studios in the UK having access only to a few photos of the lambda, but not the ILM model itself thousands of miles away in California. If you are interested, and for a nostalgic reminder of what the Internet looked like in the early naughties, check out Lambda-class Shuttles: the Dimorphism Blooper. I've modelled this one on the ILM studio model. Mostly, I think it is accurate, but I have had to make a few compromises. The cockpit taper - which is only about a stud-width at this scale - is impossible to render without resorting to a solid-black windscreen, and instead is implied by the exaggerated taper of the cockpit sides. The cockpit is a little deeper than the original - required to allow minifigure seating at this scale; the original Kenner toys model did something similar. High close/detail I've take a bit of a guess at the sloping vent-thing under the vertical fin; it is difficult to tell from reference pictures what this is supposed to be. Pressing the silver grille-tile just in front of this operates a latch to allow the body to open. In some places aesthetics wins over accuracy. The bulges on the side of the fuselage should rise to about half-way up the fuselage sides, and should extend back about half-way along the body, but I was so happy with the effect of the mudguard pieces here that I've left them as they are. Detail Front The seven-wide cockpit does not allow a complete set of grille tiles at the front. I may have to resort to a decal on the central tile. The technic skis at the sides would perhaps work better with the pointy-ends at the front but there was no way to attach them that way round (and they could do with being two studs shorter!). There are few canon reference images of the rear. Rather than the usual blanket trans-blue tiles, I have instead tried to show what the engines might look like under the exhaust glow - inspired by this superb render by Thad Clevenger. The vents end up looking a little square; it might be possible to improve this with decals. Rear detail The extremes of the rounded rear end look a bit square, but this is the best solution at this scale, at least until LEGO produces this piece in 2x2. Here's a view from beneath. You can see the taper of cockpit sides, and how the technic skis are a little easy to knock out of position . underside One of the major challenges I faced was attaching the rounded sides of the body SNOT to the studs-up frame. Mostly this is achieved with SNOT brackets, but there was no room for this on the forward sections, which are actually attached via an internal clip. Inside here are two very hard shock absorbers which are intended to encourage the wings to sit in either 'up' or 'down' positions; see here. The smooth sections in the middle are the landing gear doors. An essential feature of any Lambda is that it must be able to fold its wings in order to land. With this, the wing-mounted guns need to fold outwards. I've also included a chin-ramp, though it is hinged a little further back into the body of the ship than on the real thing. Landed front low As you can hopefully see, there is also landing gear, with folding flaps to cover the recesses. It is retractable, as shown below: Landing gear detail The shock-absorber parts act as a kind of suspension when the ship is landed, and provide a spring action when folding to keep the retracted gear in place. It works surprisingly well. Towards the front of the above picture, you can see the cockpit floor is mounted at a half-stud offset, which allows two figures to be seated side-by-side. Having experimented with several ways to allow the cockpit to open, I found that having the nose section slide off provided the best compromise between accessibility and strength. Cockpit interior detail As you can see, the white 4L bars that frame the windscreen are held on by droid arms, and the sloping cockpit sides held in place at the front by 1L bars with claws. It's a bit fiddly to put together. The 1x4 trans tile at the rear unfortunately exposes the asymmetry inherent in any odd stud-width construction; if it were available in trans-black the stud might be better hidden! Access to the inside is easy: the whole top slides off. The red Technic liftarm at the front is a latch to keep the roof in place; it is released by pressing down the metallic silver grille tile. I've also removed a side wall for the photo. Interior I had in mind that this is the shuttle Darth Vader uses to transport Luke from Endor to the Death Star II. It is kitted out for high-ranking officers, with an Imperial Coffee Machine and an Imperial Waffle maker. For a size comparison, here's my Lambda next to the latest official playset version. Comparison to system set I really liked that set, despite is obvious compromises of proportion (and I infinitely prefer it to the hideous UCS set). I like to think that mine is on the same approximate scale to this but more proportionally accurate. The Lambda is the end result of a long process of trial and error, and I'm pleased with the result. I hope you like it too! For more pictures see my Flickr album. C&C welcome! Rufus
  23. *Your entry has earned 22XP* Mission Log from Agent Amus: Ever since battle of Endor the imperial presence on colony worlds such as Foundry has been sloppy at best. Even though the Republic has declared Foundry a member of the state, they have shown little interest in anything other than the aristocratic and political districts of the planet. In their ignorance they have ignored the real power of Foundry. The industrial underworld. Mission log - continued: I’ve arranged a meeting at the cantina known among the locals as the Can Can. Clever nickname for a place that is supposed to look like it is run by droids. Mission log - continued: My intel suggests another individual is running the place. Running most of the underworld on Foundry actually. Inside the Can Can... When the music is playing... The bar has anything from blue milk to Merenzane Gold... Wealthy guests drinking Merenzane Gold... Sore looser... The street outside... Someone trying to remain anonymous... Staying warm in the Underworld... Phew. I finally got to post this one - I wish I could have paid more attention to the wall-work and stuff like that, but the build just took way too much time - and I wanted to move on. The diagonal walls was a real challenge - but cramping loads of details in this one was really fun... Let me know what you think! Below is a little peak behind the scenes, and close-ups...

    [MOC] Imperial VT-ST Walker

"Sir, we don't have the firepower." "Use the Scout Walkers!" -Imperial comm intercept The Variable Terrain Scout Transport is the first walker in the Variable Terrain family. Originally, the head of the walker was meant to be placed on an Imperial armored vehicle (currently a still on-going project) as a turret; however, the turret was deemed unsuitable with the vehicles designed (though it could still be used as a turret), so it was decided to use it in a pint-sized scout walker. With this in mind, inspiration was taken from the 2016 AT-ST in regards to the legs. The overall design is similar, albeit shrunk to about half the size in most of its proportions. I'm satisfied overall with the design, though as a cockpit for a walker, I find the controls a bit lacking (as I'd prefer a bit more); I also wanted the twin cannons in front to be able to articulate up and down like the AT-ST, but I thought it was low enough to not matter much (as well as having the side armament compensate a bit for this)- due to its connection method, the twin cannons can be modified with bars and clips to articulate, similar to the ones on the VT-IT. Th VT-ST is armed with twin heavy blaster cannons, as well as a missile launcher on each side, all in a fixed forward position. It is also equipped with a grenade launcher on either side that can articulate in multiple directions, as well as a short range comm antenna. SW Imperial Turret #3 by Jonathan Wallace, on Flickr The VT-ST is the mainstay of the Variable Terrain line, and they make up the bulk of the various VT models assigned to Imperial units in the field. Although Brickthana Engineering hoped its VT line could be a competitive alternative to All Terrain family, various issues from production problems to under-performance (among others) hampered its chances, and Brickthana eventually accepted its current place, and began focusing on smaller and more well-defined and in-depth projects. [MOC] Imperial VT-IT Walker

"We got walkers!" "Don't worry, they're just eye-tees" - Rebel radio chatter This simple MOC is part of my VT family of walkers, being a sort of offshoot of my original VT-PT prototype, and is based off of the walker in the Imperial Trooper Battlepack (in a kind of roundabout way). Envisioned as a more armed and protected reconnaissance walker by Brickthana Engineering, the Variable Terrain Infantry Transport featured similar construction to both its bigger brother the VT-PT, as well as turrets used by both Imperial and Rebel forces. Unfortunately for Imperial forces, combat performance for the VT-IT fell below expectations and they were often stripped for parts for both VT-RT and VT-PT walkers by the units they were assigned to. Brickthana desperately tried to prop up the walker's abilities, but they finally yielded to the operators' preference for previous reconnaissance walkers and shut down production. After a time, and still having many of the walkers still in warehouses, Brickthana began work on a successor to the VT-IT; this second attempt has four legs, and is planned to have room for at least two or three troops onboard. Retaining the same weapon loadout as the original (or an equivalent one), this version is thought to be a direct response to both the lacking performance of the first one, as well as the Rebel's Scorpius Mk I. The VT-IT is armed with a two twin missile launchers, as well as a chin-mounted twin light blaster cannon; it's also equipped with a powerful, and detachable, communications array.
