It's close and definitely very high up there for me as well, but all in all not quite there. Some pacing problems prevents it to reach that endgame level. Well yeah, that's usually how it goes with such occasions for licensed merch. Does it really make sense in and of itself? Nope. Is it more like supposed to make, well, a ton of cash? Yes. I don't want to judge these things purely based on their Christmas properties. While that obviously makes up a big part of the overall package, I always prioritize and value the quality of the set itself. And yeah, stuff like the Gingerbread AT-AT, along with the affordable pricing, looks quite attractive to me. And it's not like it's eating up way too many set slots or something. These dishonorable mentions go to all the buildables/18+ thingamajigas. Quote

What isn’t nice is how spare parts in general seem to be dwindling in quantity and sizes. Just shows that we’re all in this together and have been for 471 days atp. But yeah. Cassian in the pilot outfit is necessary. Then the rest of the minifigs is down to individual preference and more importantly Lego’s goodwill. My preferred candidates are Director Krennic, 1-2 Range Troopers, 1-2 Stormtroopers and Major Partagaz. 2-3 of those candidates are what Lego would likely select I think. I don’t think the technician is interesting enough to get included when so many other Andor imperial figs are wanted more by fans. Heck, I’d even say Melshi is a more likely choice than the technician tbh. 4 hours ago, Yperio_Bricks said: Since it is possible to have a substantial number of Minifigs in a smaller set (looking at you Tantive IV Hallway) and keeping the aformentiond ones in mind, I think five minifigs should be doable: Pilot Andor, Krennic, Technican Niya, 2x Range Trooper. The categories of pieces that get spares have expanded significantly in the last ten years and we suddenly get spares for pieces like the small blasters, Grogu‘s head, Minecraft tridents, whips, etc. And that’s after the previous expansion where lightsaber hilts, 3L bars, gems, and other pieces joined the fun And the usual parts (1x1 tiles, plates, and slopes) never stopped getting duplicates, often multiple of the same piece in a set. There‘s only a single piece that I’m aware of that stopped getting spares, namely the Exo-Force claw. No clue why Quote
