There is some grey area, but I think they‘re pretty consistent with their rules overall Correct me if I‘m wrong, but there‘s no R-rated movie with a LEGO tie-in and only two MA-rated shows. One is Echo, which is excusable since the rating was only announced after the CMF got revealed, and the other is Stranger Things S5. Vecna is probably the most violent character to ever get a minifig, but it‘s still firmly in the realm of fantasy It‘s here where your mileage may vary. You could make the case that Vecna being okay while pre-BND Frank isn‘t is hypocritical, but I’d say one character is more realistic than the other. And of course it‘s easier to „hide“ a violent character in an 18+ set, which is also what they did with comic Punisher & Daredevil.

Yes, but the Punisher was also toned down for BND. I think they struck a nice balance between him still being a ruthless killer as usual, and also having a comedic side If that‘s enough to make him pallatable for another minifig is hard to say, but at least it‘s way more likely now!

Again, that doesn‘t mean the DP is a movie tie-in, but it‘s at least a distinct possibility! Heart and brain say yes, tummy and intestines can‘t be reached for comments.

Well, to each their own, but out of the three rumoured sets, I for one look forward to that one the most Helm‘s Derp is coming out a bit too soon after Minas Tirith for my liking, but at least we‘ll surely get a new Théoden and some Uruk-hai out of it Maybe Éowyn and Éomer too, if we‘re lucky! And the Prancing Pony is still a strange set choice. Not a lot of potential for interesting minifigs, but we don‘t see LEGO inns every day, so it at least has that novelty factor to it And recreating the scene with the Nazgûl stabbing the empty beds sounds fun, if they include that!

The leaked list is very exciting, but the Flying Dutchman is by far my most-anticipated entry on there I‘ve been waiting so long for this!! If it‘s anything like the BP, we‘re in for a real treat! The only thing that could dampen my excitement would be Pintel and Ragetti getting shafted AGAIN. I still think they should‘ve been included in the BP. The FD doesn‘t really need any incentives beyond the ship itself and Davy Jones

That was a different situation. Back then, it was one leaker who was otherwise reliable who spread the rumour and a lot of others fell for it. Here, we have multiple sources confirming it (after some initial scepsis) Sure, in the end every rumour should be taken with a grain of salt, but with pretty much every leaker covering it, there‘s very little room for it to be untrue.

Huh? The Mûmakil is one of the most iconic (and badass) creatures in the entire franchise, so of course fans would want a LEGO set I can’t speak for others, but it’s been near the top of my wishlist since 2013, and I’m surely not in the minority here. That‘s like saying you don‘t think anyone would want a Rancor, a Hungarian Horntail, or a Leviathan

Part of the 2027/28 leak included an upscaled Homer minifig. Maybe it‘s a set to tie in with the new movie coming out next year!

Helm‘s Deep makes sense, but why is the Prancing Pony of all things getting a set?! I swear, if you tasked me with coming up with LotR set ideas, this wouldn‘t even make it into the top 20. I would‘ve thought of UCS Gollum‘s loincloth before this!

Thanks to a leak (seemingly internal files), we now know about another planned POTC set, the Flying Dutchman!

And they confirm it too, along with the Prancing Pony Like WHAT Edit: It‘s unclear whether they‘re all 2027 sets, some could be intended for 2028!

Not that we would ever doubt our good @Renown, but the UCS Falcon has also been confirmed by Bricktap! Plus an upscaled Rex! Interesting choice.

Bricktap confirms it too now! Well that was quick! And a buildable Krypto is allegedly coming too! …I have a sinking feeling my latest bet was a BAD idea.

With any other theme, I’d believe it once reliable leakers confirmed it. With DC, I‘d still be sceptical while building the damn thing
