  1. The buildable Boba looks good but I'm so tired of buildable characters at this point.
  2. I agree it looks nice, although I do kind of miss when they'd have the same key art across all their SW toy packaging.
  3. Do we know if the new Bespin and Mustafar duels are playsets or diorama's? I though the rumor was they were going to have display quote plaques like the diorama sets. If they are dioramas then it makes sense for only figures in the scene to be included. If the lack of a third minifigure in the JSF allowed them to keep the price down then I don't mind too much. Yeah that seems likely. I disagree, the black box art is really boring and lazy. The Sail Barge or Jango's slave 1 for example, would've look so much cooler with actual box art. The playset key art is fine but I wish they'd bring back the actual characters sometimes instead of the Lego versions of the characters. For the Revenge of the Sith anniversary sets it would've been cool if they brought back the Vader Lava key art from 2005.
  4. I really hope Lego comes out with some cool box art on these 50th anniversary sets. Maybe Ralph McQuarrie Vader like 2007?
  5. That's what I'm thinking, I can't imagine they'd actually raise it to $30 before $25 or something. Or the build(s) are more substantial than the normal BP.
  6. I actually have every prior version of the sets that are being remade, but I'm still intrigued by this wave. I'm happy we're getting a wave of just episodes 1-6 plus Clone Wars; we've been getting too much Disney content. I feel like you guys are all just ignoring the concept art figs which will be super unique and obscure figures. Mustafar duel: bigger and hopefully less ugly build than 75269. Bespin duel: will be the largest set of this scene we've ever gotten. Y-Wing: deserved remake, will likely include a pilot we've never gotten. Endor BP: Overpriced. delta 7: A little boring but will probably have arm printed Anakin. Also this set is probably cheaper because they left out a third figure. This is a big win since we were getting $45 jedi interceptors. So yeah besides the Endor BP, I have no problem with the figure selections.
  7. I think it'd be a bad idea to remake the UCS Falcon so soon. Most people who want it have had to the chance to buy it for 10 years, so they're probably not going to buy a remake. If they did remake it the improvements probably wouldn't be as drastic as it was from 2007-2017. I think they should retire it and wait 5-10 years to remake it.
  8. Both duel sets also have concept art figures, and the prior versions also only had the duelist. The JSF with 1 figure and an Astromech used to just be the standard, a third figure is cool but not really necessary. Both previous Anakin starfighters had the same figure selection. Like it would be cool to get these extra figures but I don't think they're super necessary to their respective sets. The Endor battle pack is the most disappointing because it's so expensive to army build at $30 for 4 figs.
  9. This seems a little harsh, the figure selections are pretty standard, not necessarily sub par. I'd argue the concept art figs are beyond the ordinary. Not trying to shill for Lego here or anything, but we've yet to see any pictures so these sets could still turn out well.
  10. Maybe the $30 battle pack will have more substantial builds than normal? The $23 battle packs usually have around 100-120 pieces, maybe this one will have 200-250ish pieces? If they actually just raised the standard battle pack by $7 that would be pretty insane.
  11. It will add some much needed color to this very gray theme.
  12. I think both the speeders are cool, glad to get a new AOTC Anakin too.
  13. The old one is $53 adjusted for inflation so there shouldn't be much downsizing.
  14. Maybe they could do: Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, C3PO, R2, 3 Ewoks, and 3 force ghosts. Yavin had 12 minifigs so the village will probably have around the same amount. Of course they also might want to throw in some imperials which would hurt the chances of force ghosts.
  15. Maybe the George Lucas Minifig will be the May 4th figure? It said rumored for march or may. Either that or part of the concept art figs. Also wonder if we'll get force ghosts in the Ewok Village? This will be our best chance to get them for a looong time.
  16. Most people probably already have a decent amount of imps as opposed to rebels.
  17. I'm still pissed we never got to see the main trio on screen together again. Now we could only hope for some deepfake type stuff which I'm not a big fan of. @Mandalorianknight pretty much covered my thoughts on this. Although I'm curious why you think a more conventional characterization of Luke, like he was in legends, would be boring or less interesting?
  18. This is why TLJ was so disappointing, for most of the movie Luke was a whiny loser. We were robbed of the real Luke.
  19. I still know a lot of people who have a soft spot for TFA, I thought it was decent upon release, safe to say I like it a lot less now. Anyways It felt like Star Wars was hugely popular the whole period from the first TFA trailer to TLJ. You had Star Wars Battlefront come out in 2015 which is still the best selling Star Wars game and TFA which is the highest grossing Star Wars movie. Then you had R1 which is still viewed as the best Disney SW movie, Rebels was also airing during this period. The first canon books and comics were pretty well liked too. I'd argue it was one of Star Wars most popular/mainstream eras. It's crazy how TLJ came out and 6 months later no one cared about Star Wars anymore lol.
  20. Why is it when I talk about B&M corporate, you immediately bring up someone else involved in the situation to deflect? Law-Gorman aren't blameless but it shouldn't have affected how B&M corporate treated this whole situation. It's literally just common sense not to harass random B&M stores. You shouldn't need someone to tell you not to start punching people in your local B&M. All these harassment incidents are on B&M corporate at the end of the day. While B&M corporate may not solely be at fault for all the missing Lego, they are certainly a large part responsible. What B&M corporate (Ammon, Joshua Johnson, Brandon Best) should have done was work with Ben and Bryan to get his Lego back. They did infact have a lot of his stock, I believe Coffeezilla said around $20,000 of Bryans Lego was in the store when they took over. Of course, their intention was never to give the Lego back, that's why they called the cops instead.
  21. So was he just supposed to not bring any attention to the matter because some hoopleheads decided to harass random stores? The fault lies in B&M corporate for handling the situation poorly, every step of the way, the CEO is literally a mustache twirling villain.
  22. Decade or two with no movies sounds like the perfect opportunity for Lego to remake... the Gungan Sub... ...Yes I'm beating a dead Tauntaun I think Disney missed their second chance with the D+ shows. Imagine if BOBF and Kenobi were great shows? I was 11, 13, and 15 when the sequels came out and definitely wasn't a fan. They weren't popular among my peers either except TFA was popular when it came out. I don't think the New Gens will be enthralled with the core 6, they're pretty old at this point. Obviously they'll always have fans, but there will be newer stuff that's more popular.
  23. Yeah it's really weird some people here are acting like Ben is just as bad as B&M. They want to blame the other B&M stores being harassed as Reckless Bens fault even though Ben explicitly told people not to harass random B&M stores. Yes precisely, I misinterpreted it. I agree with @TeddytheSpoon in that case.
  24. How? He's hiding out in Mexico because he has a warrant out for his arrest. He couldn't even post part 3.
  25. I wonder how many users on this old thread are still active.
