LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2026 - READ FIRST POST!!!

I think it's the best Microfighter we've ever gotten, even if it is a little overpriced. -

I agree maxifigs are a terrible subtheme for Star Wars. I think it works better for Lego IP stuff like the classic spaceman. -

I said the design is cool but I still passed on the previous Kylo Ren shuttle's and I certainly wouldn't buy a remake. I sold any sequel sets I had back in 2020, I now own 0 ST sets and would never buy one again. I'm sure there's a market for Sequel sets but it's a lot smaller than the market for PT, OT, Clone Wars. Do you really think there are many people who would buy a resistance bomber? It'd cost well over $100 and it's from the movie that killed Star Wars. There's a major difference which is that the Blue Squadron X-Wing released alongside a movie. The sequels are 10 years old at this point. Brutal indeed, my most desired fig, in my least desired set. -

Naming one ship I liked across the entire trilogy isn't really much praise. I wished the sequels showed the next evolution of ship/vehicle design since it took place 30 years after ROTJ. We should've seen more E-Wings and B-Wings. And why were Y-wings in TROS? they were outdated even by the OT. From a more casual fan perspective they pretty much fill the same niche. I remember as a kid I didn't get the new ST X-Wings because I had the 2012 X-wing, I preferred getting the newer designs like the FO transport ship. I could see them doing a Black One X-Wing in 2035 for the 20th anniversary of TFA. Pretty much the only time they acknowledge the sequels these days is for an anniversary. -
Have you ever found Lego pieces outdoors?

When I was a kid probably around 2008ish my mom found a 2005 siege battalion clone trooper (og clones with green markings) on her walk, it was missing the helmet though. -

We could really use a new Wookiee Catamaran. Would SNOT assemblies be stable enough for kids to play with? I agree that they need to be sleeker though. To be fair to the ST I don't think the PT resurgence really happened until like 2017. Kids always liked the prequels so when they grew up they started voicing their opinions. A decade after the prequels it was still mostly older fans voicing their disdain for the PT. -

I think I prefer the old Patrick. -

That seems like a solid distribution over a year, not necessary for each wave though. Although I do think a new movie should be more heavily weighted than a new show. Are there though? Kylo Ren's shuttle is pretty cool, besides that... meh. It's been a while since I watched those movies though. The Problem with a Black One X-wing is it's just a less iconic paint scheme from way less popular movies, with less liked characters. Kids today seemingly aren't interested in the ST either so it would have to be aimed at a pretty niche audience who wants to drop $70+ on Sequel merch. For the Tie Silencer or Whisper there are arguably more popular/well liked Tie Variants we could get like the Avenger and Defender. I know there are some people who would like new Sequel sets, but I just don't hear as much demand for them. The passion doesn't seem to be there; I don't see people making Sequel trilogy set wish list like they do for the PT, OT, CW. -

Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if the Mustafar duel came with Wat Tambor and Padme, but I never realistically expected that to happen so I'm not disappointed. Same goes for the other sets. Do we really need perfect "era balance" in every wave? Also no one want ST sets, and the Mandoverse just got an entire year of sets. -
I can pretty easily find if a set has stickers, either through BrickLink, reviews, or just looking at the pictures on the box. I don't think it'd make much difference for serious Lego hobbyist, and casuals probably don't care enough about stickers anyway. I'm not against it, rather it's more of a non issue to me.

I'm still on the fence about this one. I'm generally not into the non minifig scale UCS sets but I really like the AT-ST as a vehicle. -

Yeah they changed the box art in Jan 2019. The TLJ box art was the last one, and perhaps the worst one they ever did. -

The buildable Boba looks good but I'm so tired of buildable characters at this point. -

I agree it looks nice, although I do kind of miss when they'd have the same key art across all their SW toy packaging.
