"You are now entering the Blacktron sector! This is the absolute limit of the Classic Space quadrant! You have been warned!" ...sorry about that. Had to get the legal stuff out of the way first! Anyway: Blacktron long-range fighter "Buzzard" Above is the two copies of the Blacktron XL-15, which are now dubbed the "Buzzard" type starfighter. So back in January of 2023, I decided to convert the XL-15 spaceship from the film "Lightyear" into original Blacktron colors. The blue became yellow, and white was turned to black, with all the trans-green removed. I added laser blasters under the wings where some technic pins are and put a different control tile in the cockpit. I was thinking about building a second ship, but then again, getting some of the parts from Bricklink was a total pain due to extremely low quantities in the needed color. (I'm talking about you, 3 x 3 wedge plate in yellow!) Thankfully, I bought one too many of both kinds of the yellow 12 x 3 wedge plates, as they are very rare as well with only one store selling four of each kind in the USA, which made making the second one easier later on. Blacktron command vessel "Executor" In addition to the two Buzzards, I wanted a Blacktron capitol ship. I had no ideas of my own ship, so I spent most of the afternoon of 10/5/23 taking Benny's beloved spaceship from The Lego Movie and corrupting it into a twisted, evil version. I revamped the nose, removed the expanding wing assembly and snub fighters. Of course I then recolored it almost exclusively in black and yellow. (some gray was unavoidable!) I armed it with a turret on the top rear where the sensor array once was, and put the commanders office below where the wing mechanism used to be. To keep with the one-word naming scheme of the original Blacktron, I borrowed the name of Darth Vader's Super Star Destroyer, decreeing this ship the Blacktron Executor. I struggled to think of an engine flame color that fit OG Blacktron, but eventually trans-light blue was selected. Since the wings don't extend anymore, I added a third section for figures with a turret on top in their place. The rear-most section lifts away, but the rest of the roof sections are supposed to fold open. The ship seats seven troops and 1 commander. Blacktron cargo transporter "Vendetta" The Blacktron Vendetta is finally finished! I combined the Renegade with a new cockpit modified from the Blacktron Cruiser GWP, with added parts from a free Rebrickable MOC's instructions for a Cruiser / Renegade adapter . The cargo pod is reverse engineered and modified from one posted in a Brickset article. You can view the Rebrickable MOC by user Brickstertwo here while the Brickset article about modifying 10355 is here. The rear of the vessel. I changed the engines flames from trans-red to trans-light blue to match the rest of my fleet. Same thing with the yellow technic wheels becoming light bluish gray. The cockpit seats one mini-figure, and has two laser cannons just outside the canopy. The removable cargo pod is inspired by one in a Brickset article from late December of last year. It works beautifully with the ship's drop mechanism. The top lifts open on a hinge so you can put cargo inside. Blacktron two-man snub fighter "Avalanche" These ships are Blacktron 1 versions of a classic Star Wars speeder design is mostly taken from set 75204 - Sandspeeder, with portions taken from other snow-based versions of the type as well. All this is wrapped up in a new black and yellow paint job with a trans-yellow windscreen from 75414 - The Force Burner Snowspeeder. I call this ship type the Avalanche class snub fighter, and they will be going with my heavily modified Renegade set and the rest of my Blacktron 1 MOD's. Rear view of the two ships. This type of short-range fighter is usually assigned in massive quantities to defend critical planets with Blacktron bases on them, whereas the much more capable and deadly Buzzard type is usually for capitol ship escort duty, and can take on much bigger vessels with only a dozen or so fighters. The inside seats two figures. Blacktron armored ground transporter "Marauder" The 2021 Star Wars set 75311 (Imperial Armored Marauder) has been transformed into a Blacktron 1 version, complete with revised guns instead of those annoying flick-fire things. I couldn't use space seats inside this one, but there are plenty (four) 2x2 modified tiles with just enough room for air-tanks in the model... at least I hope that will be the case! The rear of the hover-vessel with the laser turrets rotated. There are eight total opening hatches on the all four sides and top to place figures / store cargo. One figure sits in the rotating rear turret, two troopers sit in the main body of the vehicle, while the last fig sits in the drivers seat. Blacktron giant robot "Destructor" For this model, I used parts and ideas from the Eternals line's "In Arishem's Shadow" set 76155 (body / head / upper legs / upper arms) along with claw from the old Agents 2.0' "Robot Attack" set 8970. The lower legs and laser arm are (modified) holdovers from the "Build Better Bricks" Iron Giant instructions. (I need to fix the laser arm's elbow joint but I keep forgetting!) Blacktron "Shadow Runner" space car Recently, while I was on my Blacktron kick, I decided I needed a vehicle for the commander. So, after a few false starts with other models, I dusted off this old TRON Legacy Light Runner model and went to town modifying it. The model originally was made five years ago (was 2018 really that long ago?!?), and is based off the two-seater TRON set 21314 MOD that was made by BrickBrosUK and posted on Brickset here. The name Shadow Runner is a play on the Light-based vehicles from TRON. Blacktron minifigs 1x commander 4x officers 19x troopers 1x robot (E.D.G.A.R.) (Thanks to my brother for giving me ~10 of his unwanted Blacktron torsos from the old GWP that were purchased from Pick-A-Brick back in 2023.) Blacktron robot "E.D.G.A.R." This model is recolored and modified from the E.R.I.C. robot from set 76831 - Zurg Battle - from the Pixar film Lightyear. I call this one E.D.G.A.R. which stands for: Electronic Data Gathering / Assimilating Robot Blacktron space base "Outpost 13" This sandwich-looking model was built from an 2002 Alpha Team set 4795 (Ogel Underwater base and AT sub) but heavily modified to fit into the Blacktron I theme. I had to fill in the spots where the flexible plastic "window' pieces were, replace the skull logo with the upside-down Tri-Force logo of Blacktron I, find ways to make the model almost totally "air tight", and add on a radar dish instead of a harpoon gun. I also made the building a lot deeper - about eight studs. The rear of the model. I took out the fancy spinning wall of the original set and replaced it with a bank of windows. The radar installation and it's tower are my own design. As on the original set, the logo folds down, where it can be used as a ramp. Also as on the original set, the MOD folds open to access the inside details. Special shout out to Jon Mo who designed the brick built Blacktron logo I used on my model (thanks also goes to EliteGuard01 for finding that logo design and recommending it to me). The inside was very hard to figure out, as most space furniture is for me. I decided on six computer stations and a desk for the commander. Another source of trouble was to make the building open cleanly and close without holes. The original set struggled with this, and it failed miserably - however I feel I managed to fix that issue. Inside of the rear with the commander's desk front and center. Blacktron hover tank "Havok" I modified 25 year old Star Wars set 7155 (Trade Federation AAT) into Blacktron I colors. Before that, the original set was very much a mess of too many colors, but now these two look elegant and refined in my opinion. Here is the rear of one of the tanks with turret rotated. The hatch is opened with control details visible and barrel elevated. Thoughts? Snub fighter added 1/21/26

What if the Classic Space theme extended all the 1990s? I made this using underrated pieces from that era. Includes launching tower, crane rover, landing pad, cargo ship, a manned rocket and Lab area. 4x4 container gimmick. 1028 pieces from the 90s era. I tried to create a list of MOCs that are based on real rockets, spacecrafts or probes (or at least designs of planned real rockets, spacecrafts or probes) with instructions, either free or for money. The list was growing and growing and now it is far greater than I expected: https://kaerodot.gitlab.io/lego-rocket-mocs/ Due to the nature of the universe, this list will never be complete and perfect, so please contact me with ideas for improvements and additions. If you are offended and you do not want your work to be included in the list, please contact me also. Tables can be sorted by clicking on the heading. Some statistics: there are instructions for: 97 different rocket and spacesihp MOCs, of this: 5 different MOCs of Spacex falcon 9; 3 Spacex falcon heavy; 6 saturn 1B; 3 Soyuz rockets; 3 V2; additional 52 different MOCs of spaceprobes; additional 26 launchpads, launch complexes, drone ships etc. If you want to build e.g. mercury rocket, you can just select by the pictures.

Hey all. Here's a MOC I made in Lego Studio. It's a rover inspired by recent trans green windscreens/window pieces and the newish wheel fork. The command module can launch from the rover platform and function as a spaceship. The rover platform can function autonomously or be operated remotely from the command unit. Here's a pic showing the rear window of the main command module with the small cargo unit detached. Thanks for looking! A couple more pics here:

Introducing you to my latest Midi-Scale spaceship, the timeless Y-Wing from Episode IV - A New Hope! At 546 pieces, this compact and intricate model is barely wider than your average smartphone's height, but keeps a dense, detailed look and accurate proportions. I initially made a first prototype more than a year ago but was unhappy with the half-baked, almost playset-ish scale. I took on the challenge again and recreated it entirely from scratch: it's now smaller, more accurate, and just better in every aspect. Despite the small size, I did my best to capture the essence of the original ILM prop: tilted cockpit section, engines off-center relative to the thin support struts, asymmetrical greebles from top to bottom, cockpit turret... Believe it or not, the deceptively simple shape of the body was not easy to capture at this scale: with such a tiny surface to work with, a subtle balance had to be struck between incorporating complex greebling and "drawing" an accurate body outline. The cockpit section was a whole other beast, but once I figured out how to create the tapering, things clicked pretty fast. I managed to reproduce the slight downwards tilt, the yellow stripes on the fuselage, and the more discreet gray stripes on each side as well. I believe it's about as small as you can go when creating a Y-Wing cockpit without sacrificing crucial features and proportions! This model comes with a removable stand. Although it being purely a display piece, its swooshability is very good. In addition to being cost-effective, I think it makes a nice desk model for anyone loving that ILM prop look, with a small space footprint. ► Instructions for the Y-Wing are available at BrickVault! I created this Futuron theme space lander using pieces available in the 80s and 90s decades. I still don't understand why Lego never gave us something similar to this. The pieces were there, If you enjoy this MOC and want to see more of my stuff, please visit my Facebook group: Lego Space Futuron/Exploriens/SP3 https://www.facebook.com/groups/1421271881962817

Another 2024 lego 'city' moc. Stuff is really wilding this year.

This is my Futuron city created using only 90s existing pieces. Why Lego group never made a Futuron base with a Monorail track so you could add it to the 6990 monorail set? If you like this type of designs, please take a look at my White/Black/Trans-Dark Blue group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1421271881962817 Enjoy it!

What would happened if Blacktron 1 theme stretched all the 90s decade? The world might never know... It has a 3 section spaceship, a rover, a robot guardian, a flyer, an elevator on the back, working diagonal garage doors, 4 diferent space era baseplates and many more stuff! 1320 pieces. Only the spaceship windscreen and the hinged side panels of the spaceship were never made in those colors, but it looks so great I leave it like that. Where's the mop?

The Theta Class Shuttlecraft is a small shuttle used by away teams to explore nearby planets and transport personal across a 'relative' small distance. Equipped with the latest's FTL drive, it's also capable to get to safety fast if required, although it's not recommended for interplanetary travels. A small shield generator protects it's occupants from space debris but also lasers. Two small lasers can be used to clear space debris, but prolonged use will overheat the system, so use in moderation. -- Build for SpaceJam 2023, "FOUR!" category, creating a spaceship with place for at least 4 seated minifigures. My own take on the 60430 Interstellar Spaceship. I wanted to keep the original play feature of the "battery" opening the main drive, which I thought was a cool ability.

Built for SHIPtember, an annual event where you are challenged to build a 100+ stud spaceship in the month of September. I haven’t done a SHIP in this horizontal panel style yet, and after a couple quick sketches was very intrigued by trying that with an asymmetric twist. And this year I managed to even complete the underside. Thanks to Graham for the main image edit. Build time: 27 days Length: 104 studs Weight: 5.5 pounds (2.5 kilograms) Quite a few more images on Brickbuilt, and the images embedded here link to Flickr where you can see them in full resolution.

Here is a 2-in-1 topic with 2 variant of the Scythe transport shuttle, aka the Inquisitor shuttle as seen in the Obi-Wan TV show on Disney+. Scythe Transport side-by-side by Veynom, on Flickr On the left, the MOC designed by Pixel_Dan available on Rebrickable. On the right, my recolored version of the original set (#75336) using 2 shades of grey. Scythe Transport comparison by Veynom, on Flickr What can I say about these 2 models? Like many of us, I've purchased the official set mainly for the minifigs, and not so for the spaceship. While I really liked it in the TV show, I did not like that much the Lego version of it, despites the globally positive reviews and feedback found on the internet, particularly regarding the build experience and the large interior. So I decided to start by building the Pixel_Dan model which I liked better for its proportions and size. Imperial Inquisitor Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Ultimately, it is a compact and solid model but it has only room for 1 pilot inside. However, it has a retractable landing gear, which the official model has not. Imperial Inquisitor Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Pure lines, nice design, nice-looking shape, both when landed on in flight mode, clearly an attractive model. The build experience is cool as well, particularly for the forward part. The studless wings add a good plus to the global impression. Imperial Inquisitor Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Inquisitor Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr The main issue with the model is the landing gear. It fits perfectly inside and is easy to extract but it has a tendancy to close back when grounding the ship. The trick is to slightly turn the rear landing skis to prevent them to fold back in when grounding the ship. Minor issue but....still an issue. On the other side, the "2 shades of grey" counter part is clearly less sexy. (Well, I think.) Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr As I only used black parts from the set to build the first Scythe transport, I was left with most of the parts of the official set. So I tried to use my own stock of grey to build a recolored version, thinking it could be "cool". Seeing the result, "cool" is not exactly the first word coming to my mind. Not liking the result, I will mostly likely dismantle it and send the parts back to the bulk. Scythe Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Still, when landing with folded wings, it is still OK-ish. But when in flight position, I really can't like it. Is it due to the original model shape ? Is it due to my recoloring? I'm still unsure but as there can be only one, I believe my choice is done and a fate is settled. What about you? Which version do you prefer? The 3rd option is still the original set, of course.

This is a Lego Ideas Submission, if you can, please support it here. I originally made this to go alongside the Galaxy Explorer, since 10497, while excellent, lacks the base 497 had. It's not meant as a remake of the base from that set specifically, though, more of just a base in general to go alongside 10497. Once I finished it, I thought it'd be a nice moc to submit to lego ideas. Here you can see all aspects of the base. The skylight and radar on top of the left module, the asteroid defense system on top of the right module, the landing pad and scout ship, the lunar rover and charging bay, and the 5 spacemen united once more, this time alongside a new brown spaceman. Another view of the full set, just cleaned up a bit, with the scout ship and rover docked. This part of the interior contains a console for the radar scanner and a material analysis bay. The clear 1x2x2 panels are on hinges and can open to place a crystal for analysis. The other side of this module contains a pair of robotic arms for further material experimentation, as well as a tool rack for wrenches, comms, and "flashlights". Totally not blasters. The other module contains, on one side, the controls for the emergency asteroid defense system, as well as a kitchen area. The kitchen area is stocked with a hot/cold liquid dispenser, and some different types of food. Finally, the other side of the small module contains a sleeping area for the spacemen. Here they can hang their air tanks by their pillow and drift off to sleep. If you like this, I hope you'll be able to take a few seconds and support it quickly on lego ideas, again, here

An experimental flying cruiser that can be used in space, on the moon base, as well as on the surface. It's three wheeled designed allows it to even be operabele on the road, although flying would be preferred. For atmospheric flight it uses the experimental hover engine and the thrusters are mostly for space flight. Equipped with various long range sensors it's the ideal one-person companion craft for bigger ships, although maybe a bit overkill to be used as a personal shuttle. -- Finally took a picture of this one, which was finished for almost a year... Led by enigmatic eccentric Dr. Victor Strangebuild, the crew of Pioneer-74 is on a long-running quest to document the mysteries of deep space. Their goal is to explore unknown worlds, encounter fantastic creatures, and meet brand-new civilizations. Thus, they boldly venture forth into the great final frontier, never looking back towards home. THIS IS THE STORY OF PIONEER-74! So I built this spaceship Halloween in about two hours. I call it Pioneer-74 because I like naming things after old space probes (Pioneer, Odyssey, Voyager, etc.) while the "74" part of the name is because that's what year it was launched. (It has a certain retro look to it, almost like it came from Space: 1999) The brick separator solar arrays and engines have been built IRL for years with nothing interesting to tack them onto, so finally doing something with them makes me happy. The rest is heavily inspired by two CITY space sets (60227 and 60349, respectively) in orange for the LEGO Universe-inspired space theme, the Nexus Force. Pioneer-74 is completely modular, so it can be extended if I wanted later on. (This should also make transportation easier when built in real life.) A look at the vessel from above. NOTE: two figures are missing from the above picture... and it seems one of the finished ones has to get his head in the game as well! Credit where credit is due: @jan kusters ongoing space epic inspired this build, and to my brother for the two awesome renders! UPDATE 12/7/22: It's done! Sorry for the cruddy picture, it was the best I could do. It's far too long for my normal picture taking places! More pictures to come as soon as I can! Thoughts?

Hi Everybody! This is GTR Space Figther, an alternate model of set 42123. It was a very cool building. 42123 has very few functions, and not many gears, so it was a nice challenge. I was able to include three functions, two of them "spring loaded", using flex axles as springs, which was quite fun and it works very well! Notice also the front of the ship. It is built completely off the standards (with some ilegal stuff, I suppose) and in fact it is a bit fragile, but surprisingly it holds very well. Although some of them for decoration purposes, it uses 95% of the parts (795 parts). And it is possible to have a seat for a droid! The features are: Retractable Feet "Spring Loaded" X-Wings Retractable Side guns There are free instructions on rebrickable. Below are some pictures and a video. More pictures here. It seems I am starting to have a fleet! Hope you like it! VascoLP

Hello everyone. With a little delay, I present to you my modest contribution to the SHIPTEMBER competition: I named the Sébosaurus. He is a terraformer capable of bringing life to twenty planets. There is everything you need; vats of proto culture saturated with primary cells. These cisterns (located behind the device) are mechanically attracted (planetary attractions), and diffuse genetically modified spores from the top of the atmosphere to the ground. They are programmed to bring life where they are sown. The Omega Fut, represented on the ship by the central energy sensor (visible as a large circle and insulating energy shield), as well as the front of the device with no less than 48 catalysts / multipliers. Unlimited autonomy since the domestication of infra-conductors in 2086 (neutral sidereal carbon footprint).
