Well 2024 LEGO Speed Champions released 2 last cars (F40 & NASCAR) so came time to discuss about 2025. Somewhere in internet I read LEGO go all in F1 cars in 2025. What's your thoughts?

Hi everyone, I've build some vehicles one month ago. I forgot to post the pictures on Eurobricks (sorry ). This SC-4RT model is great to use to fly from city to city. This SC-12PT model can be used to fly from city to city and can do short distances in outer space. The SC-3PT model can be used to fly from city to city and can do short distances in outer space. I know you guys probably know about my bigotry towards automobiles that are 6 studs wide. However, when it comes to race cars, I think it works. I own both 60053 and 60113 and they are very nice vehicles. I would like to hope that the race cars that we are supposed to receive in 2020 start a trend of making race cars for Lego City. I do worry that it won't happen since Speed Champions exists. Though Speed Champions seems to be targeted towards OFOLs than CFOLs.

As some of you may know, I already have a topic for my sport cars. Why not have another one for regular city cars? The latest LEGO Ideas contest "BUILD A VINTAGE CAR TO CRUISE THE STREETS OF LEGO® MODULAR BUILDINGS!" was a perfect occasion to get back to building after a break. After all, 6-wide cars is what I mainly build, so why not take a shot at a contest? Choosing a subject matter for an entry was the first step. In the end, I (like many others) decided to build a delivery truck. I was able to complete it in about a week, and looking back at it, I think I may have overcomplicated things as I tend to. Anyway, I am really pleased with the end result, especially with the shaping of the fenders. It fits one minifig, 3 crates and a hand truck. The roof and the hood are detachable, and there's a brick-built V engine. Comments and critique are welcome. The model is available at Mecabricks, or you can download an .lxf file. Hi, The following pictures are a write up on flickr about how Cars/Motorbikes were designed fitting in the "classic Town" concept from 1978 over the years since the introduction of the minifig. Now while some say "car moccing" and "classic Town" are two different things, actually, i have good reason to believe they are one and the same. Cars will always influence the scale, detail and vibe of a town. Since they are the "tough nut" to crack building wise in any layout given the limited space, i worked on these ideas for over 4 years with several attempts (going from 8 wide to 4 wide even) of getting it to fit well with each other. Along the way i discovered several new techniques i want to present here swiftly, which might be inspirational despite whatever approach is made or desired. Hi again, is a tradition for me, in this days, post at least 4 cars/vehicles i made in the ending year (yeah im that lazy...). All years I try to make something diferent, this year instead of making a car and a minifig, i take existing minifigs and create a car for them...next year i dont have any idea what woud i do XD... First one, the Spider, a classic bucket hot rod for a creepy and lovely girl. This one is a electric sport car for the city...well, in the beggining i have the idea to update the classic yellow sport car 6530 of the 90´s...with some speed champion windscreen, but i dont like how it going...so i end up wiht this, just simple plus somethings I like to try... This "no holes" thing in the top view is what im messing around....ther still holes, but not on top. This year when the stranger things set comes out, i want to make one sherrif 4x4 by my own, and i want to try this mudguards.....the problem is i have to fix 5, 6 and 7 wide studs XD, lego is not odd number friendly, but was fun And last one, if we ae talking about vehicles for characters....well, after 6 years making some cars was time for A BATMOBILE... Hello, feel the speed! It is my own hypercar concept inspired by real hyper and supercars. It is a 6 studs wide, studless model built from standard LEGO elements. The overall size is similar to the Speed Champions sets, but the wheels are from City sets as I wanted to keep the height to length ratio closer to the real sports cars. It can be combined with my other MOC Hybrid Truck which will be available on LEGO IDEAS soon too. Hello! I have never built any sort of custom LEGO Vehicle, but I really am interested in doing so. The problem for me is design and scale. How do you make a car that looks good, but is also proportionate to Minifigs? The kind of cars I want to build are modern, stock sedans, SUVs, buses, and trucks. I am mainly asking for tips, but if you have pictures of your own custom cars, I would greatly appreciate it!

Believe it or not, hotrods based on old wild west stagecoaches or horse drawn hearses were a thing. The Stagefright by Jack Keef is quite famous and even used an original 19th century coach. Hotrods are loved and enjoyed everywhere, even the Wizarding World isn´t save any more. Gellert Grindelwald himself wished for a stunning and wild ride, so here he has it now. His old black stagecoach grew fat tires and a huge V8 with an attitude. Finn McMissile, British intelligence. I wanted to make something big for this contest so I went brickset and looked at all the set with RRP at $149.99 among the sets I found 10262 and decided why not turn this British spy car into a different British spy car and I made Finn McMissile from Pixar's cars 2. Sadly there weren't enough part to recreate all of his gadgets but I did manage to include a hidden gun and if you replace the black round tile with bar on his wheels with a red one (that is included with the set) you can give him his explosives. I made Tow Mater to pair with my Finn McMissile It wasn't easy to get the shape right with limited parts, but i managed I think this might be my best MOC yet. I'm pretty sure he scales correctly to my Finn I didn't manage to figure out how to make guns with the parts in the set but I did include other accessories such as his waiter outfit and the bomb. I made a LEGO Oliver, Richard Hammond's 1963 Opel Kadett featured on Top Gear's beyond-iconic Botswana Special as well as the DriveTribe YouTube channel! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. Building a LEGO car in tan is unusual, but I'm extremely happy with the final result, although rather unfortunately Oliver appears very big and tall next to other 8-wide cars, since he uses the same size tires. Oliver fits three minifigures (two in front, one in the rear seats) and comes with two pairs of license plates, "OLI V3R" from when he originally imported the car back to the UK and the "ANP 210A" plates the car has on it present-day. File for the license plates (to print on sticker paper) is included with purchase of instructions. I even made a Richard Hammond minifigure to go with it!

Here's my final version of a Subaru utility commonly known as the 'Brat' Around 12 hours work on this one and I'm very pleased with the result. As an aside I was interested in feedback from people as to how they feel about others posting links to pay for instructions. I realise first and foremost this is a community website venture but as most of what I design and build these days ends up on Rebrick I do it without thinking really. Is it annoying? I remember in the older days we used to just share pics for inspiration and discussion so I don't want to get people off side by doing so. Anyway here's the goods...

Hello Lotus, James Bond and Speed Champions fans, The Lotus Esprit S1 is a sports car built by Lotus Cars from 1976 to 1978 at their Hethel, England factory. It has a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and it was featured in the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, where a car famously converted into a submarine after a road chase. The car used in the underwater scenes is nick-named "Wet Nellie". I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two vehicle registration plate stickers are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the black stripes on the sides, door handles, detailed tail lights etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the front and the front bumper with brick built headlights. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The car can be converted to submarine. The model has space for two minifigures with helmets or small hairs. Hello Corvette and Speed Champions fans, The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is the third generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the front bumper, the emblematic side grills, the side view mirrors, the embedded tail lights, the fuel cap etc... I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The instructions includes some modification ideas, for example front blinker and alternate side grill, see picture 6, and luggage rack, see picture 5. The model has space for two minifigures with helmets or small hairs. Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engine sports car built by Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It is the first production Lamborghini capable of attaining a top speed in excess of 320 kilometres per hour (200 mph). Building instructions are available on the following links: It is a studless build in the new, 8 studs wide Speed Champions style. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only one Lamborghini logo sticker and a standard vehicle registration plate sticker are used. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic taillights, the side air intakes, the side view mirrors and rear details with the double exhausts etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the hood tilt and some half stud offsets in the inside structure. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The model has space for two minifigures with helmets or small hairs. Hello Lamborghini and Speed Champions fans, The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a mid-engine sportscar produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini. In keeping with Lamborghini tradition, the Aventador is named after a Spanish fighting bull that fought in Zaragoza, Aragón, in 1993. The Aventador is the successor for the Murciélago and was made by hand in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this small scale. I prefer the brick built solutions to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds, and therefore only two types of stickers are used: simple black ones to cover the visible parts of the headlights in the front air intakes, and the Lamborghini logo. My intent was to keep the width-length-height ratio of the real car and this size makes it possible. The model contains lots of details: for example the emblematic headlights, the front and side air intakes, the side view mirrors and rear details with the wide exhaust etc... Maybe the most challenging one was the hood tilt and some half stud offsets in the inside structure. I tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and therefore some tricky build techniques are used. The two trans-clear headlight parts "Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1" (part 3665) are very rare, it never released in a set, but is available on Bricklink in some webshops. Of course they can be replaced for example by white, black, light bluish gray or dark bluish gray versions. The parts 86996 and 42446 are also rare, but the picture 7 shows an alternate side view mirror solution. It is a very low build, and can roll well only on flat surfaces. It is more of a display model then a toy for small children. The model has space for two minifigures: one with small hair or helmet in the driver's seat and one either without hair or withour leg.
