@anothergolI for one support the use of parts from other vendors, at some point in a designers journey into building satisfying and demanding models, the parts and techniques just become a means to an end. I remember some years back a builder presenting a model of a phantom fighter jet of such beauty and realism you couldnt take your eyes off of it. They admitedly cut parts, glued together, painted and created their own stickers to which no one batted an eyelid. It even featured on front pages of popular websites. That person had trancended to a model maker who just happened to use Lego bricks in their builds. I'd imagine a lot of people feeling they will never be able to build like that for the restrictions they put on their life. That said I do agree with upholding said restrictions on sites dedicated to TLG products and catalogue of parts after all if we cant share to others those platforms become rather unstable. Did I mention what a great build...

Coming in late to the party but nice work!

Fantastic...I can't even begin to imagine how you got your head around this build. What do you think it would be like structurally?

@zephyr1934That being said I am still going to sacrifice a large space for my eventual layout revolving around a rural township with rail, well maybe a medium space If she lets me....

@Darkkostas25Cheers it was a real learning excersise putting this one together. @JopieKYes it would i did a part layout in studio to test the scale and it starts to get big with only a half a ship in the canal...

All of us showing our age lol, what a great little build. Logans Run really stirs up a unique feeling much like Battlestar Galactica or Buck Rogers. These are fantastic!
