Helping Finding Where These Figures Are From

Help needed with sloped side walls for a LEGO funicular railway
Daiman replied to Zimmi78's topic in LEGO Train Tech
fiddled around and came up with this, based on the door side may be smaller scale but i think you could forgivably consider the windows are all the same size to make it easier to get the shape. -
[MOC] Power Miners; Deep-Core Heavy Mining Rig
Daiman replied to LegoMathijs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I love me a good power Miners build, though we dont see a lot of people building MOCs based on the theme it was one that grabbed a lot of attention when it came out. All this needs is a little rock monster hidden in there somewhere...- 3 replies

@Murdoch17 Well yes I like this very much...how would it go with the red 'waterline' up one brick to go between the two black layers?

This really seams like the only sensible starting point, it allows opening up the discussions about other brands without putting the hens in with the rooster. When discussing MOCS links can be shared between sections if needed to facilitate cross conversational ideas however I dont see that being widely used. It's just that we 'can' and also it will lift the bans on certain words and phrases across the board which will be the actual integration of the concept. For example if I design a lego plane and somewhere in the conversation someone mentions (and links to) a particular cockpit not available by TLG that may better suit then that can be done however people understand that my original post is based on the lego pallette of bricks and should they want to , be able to build said plane using their available parts at home. I know its all muddier than that but in embryo ...

Well my brain is not big enough to comprehend the complexity of any of the choices but my two cents worth would be a separation between talking about 'sets' and 'mocs' where brands have there own subs in the 'sets' section. People adapt the [MOC] marker that we use, or we make that a field so its compulsory, where [MOC] becomes the [BRAND] when talking about sets I'd hate to see a solution that means each brand has a sci fi or train section as it doesnt matter what bricks are used in the build which also then becomes a part of the discussion Most of my builds have been made with third part parts simply so I can afford it however I stick to the bricklink studio pallette with very few exeptions in colour for my personal builds.

This is not a bad thing in my eyes as TLG moves furter into the swill of merch and oversaturated production volumes, We all enjoy chatting about up and coming sets but mostly we are here to show and chat about our own builds in the old 'non collectable' version of the product produced. As I see by the poll the staff are poised to venture down new paths and I support that movement entirely.
