Hi, I'm in the process of making a 2-8-4 Dovregubben. Norwegian steam engine from the 1930s. I have used a motorization technique by Flickr user Duq: BR55 Drive train by Duq, on Flickr But I have some issues with the front bogie: Front bogie issues by henlorentzen, on Flickr Front bogie issues by henlorentzen, on Flickr Anyone who has some suggestions on how I could solve this?

Since I first build my Emerald Night I have wanted to improve the way it runs with PF. There are several things I don’t like with the original instructions on motorization. Here are the issues I want to improve on: - I don’t like the way the IR-reciever points out and break the nice lines on top of the boiler. - I don’t like the placement of the XL-motor which removes nice details. - I think the train runs rather jerky with the original setup. So, I have done some modifications that helps with some of the problems: - I have done the fix with the sylinders as described here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=37468 - I have also done the other fixes mentioned in issue 7 of Railbricks. - I have removed the gear on the biggest wheel that is used when the train is powered by the XL-motor, so no internal gearing is slowing the train down. - I have build a tender that consists of a train motor 88002, a PF battery box (directly above the train motor) and a IR-reciever. The tender itself reminds a lot about this 9V tender: http://www.carolinat...ld-night-to-9v/. By placing all the PF-elements in the tender I can hide all the elements nicely. When I run the tender alone it runs smoothly through curves and switch points, but when I place the engine in fronts it stops and spins in both curves and in switch points. Any idea on what I could do to solve this problem?

I'm new to Fantasy Premier League, but I've followed Premier League for many years. I've got some tips from my brother, who has played this game earlier years.

That has to be some kind of blunder from the author behind that wiki-site. It's no way on earth Lego will discontinue Power Functions elements at this time.

Problems with an order from S@H
HenrikLego replied to legotrainfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That page is indeed well hidden. You would think it would be under your account, but it isn't. My order now says shipped. My order was made august 1st. -
Problems with an order from S@H
HenrikLego replied to legotrainfan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Something like this happened to me just the other day. Ordered the Mini, the camper van and the ExoSuit. Didn't get VIP-points, free shipping or free promo set when I confirmed the order. I haven't recieved any confirmation by e-mail either. But I contacted Lego Service with these questions and got the following for response: VIP-points, free shipping and free promo set would be added to my order. When I go to lego.com and log in and then select "order status" I can view my order and see that I have recieved free shipping and promo-set. I can't see anything about VIP-points yet, but from earlier experience, this usually takes some time. -
What's number one on your list to get 1st August?

Exo-Suit now says "Out of stock, expected ship date 4 sept. 2014" on lego.com -

Oh boy, this wasn't easy but my order went through. No calculation of VIP-points, no free shipping, no promo-set, but I guess (and sincerely hope) all this is changed before the items are shipped. -

For me it will be the Mini Cooper and the ExoSuit. Will order the Camper Van as well since I don't have that one either. Will be a nice display-piece together with the Mini! -
SBrick makes your trains smarter - Kickstarter
HenrikLego replied to pasztorl's topic in LEGO Train Tech
One question: I understand that my device can run up to 16 SBricks (which each got 4 ports). Okay. But what if I bring my SBricks to an Lego event? Will my SBrick interfere with other SBricks at the same event? -
Many of the helmets are in fact broken in front. A pity. I also got two of those antennas with spikes. One of them is complete but the other one has one spike missing. The flag post with sticker is in excellent condition. All the space-printed bricks are in very good condition, some of the minifgs have faded prints. All baseplates are in very good condition. All of it STINKS, and many bricks are very dirty. Some parts are a bit discolored. I hope a good nice cleaning will do them good. I identified another set as well: 6870 - Space Probe Launcher. If anyone can identify any other sets I would be very happy! So far 2 red and 2 white minifigs missing a set! :)

How about this! A LOT of Lego Classic Space + a lot of other old Lego for 100$ I have managed to identify most of the Classic Space sets so far: 6927 - All Terrain Vehicle 306 - Two Lunar Landing Plates 6950 - Mobile Rocket Transport 6970 - Beta 1 Command Base 6930 - Space Supply Station 918 - Space Transport 928 - Galaxy Explorer As I count up the Space-minifigs I still got 5 left (2 white and 3 red) so I guess there are some more smaller sets here as well.

Very nice moc. Vivid colors, and very nice with the use of clear bricks to get the feeling of a windmill floating in the air.

Very nice set! I may bricklink parts for this if the instructions are available. Nice retro-style set.

Very impressive build! You achieved a great curved-effect here. I need to learn that building technique. The parts used for seats is phenomenal!

Brickworld Chicago 2014 Penn/TeX Layout
HenrikLego replied to SavaTheAggie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wonderful video! Seems like a fantastic layout and the trains look stunning! -
All sails are now attached and the whole structure is quite stable. I've managed to move it down the stairs and in to the living room without any major problems. Two weeks until the Tall Ships Races exhibition, so still time to do minor fixes, but I'm now at a stage where I'm quite pleased.

Thank you for your nice comment! I've added some more details now, and the only thing left now is some more details on the mast, the rigging and the sails.
