  1. You can also build a model in LDD...then go through the "build instructions" to get a piece list you can print to go get the pieces via PaB or Bricklink.
  2. Two words...Beautiful trains!!
  3. ...I know these are your trains; but, I could never get the urge to crash mine. Was fun to watch in slow motion though to see one car fly up into the air. The pizza part was comical.
  4. ...what's his reason for selling all those sets for that price?? That's a low price for selling 9 modulars...especially including 3 modulars that are rare and very expensive to get. You only listed 7 modulars; what are the other 2 modulars?
  5. Stickers...really. At least make printed bricks for an "exclusive set" I mean, come on! I would probably rebuild it with my own bucks, too, that's if I decide to sacrifice my own bricks for the build.
  6. Definitely a nice little build - i like it!
  7. ...for quality control??
  8. I'm really dig'n the inside details you placed on each floor of the building!! Fantastic build!
  9. I put mine together the other night - first time in a long time I followed directions to put together an actually Lego set. The past year, I've been "fee-building" a train layout - buildings, landscaping, train bed, etc. I'm very pleased with how the build is - a lot of neat/special pieces in the set!! That''s exactly what i did; i built one and kept a second boxed. So, I now have the BTF car and Ghostbusters cars boxed, and a second one built each.
  10. Yea...before hitting the submit button to finalize my order, it mentioned in red letters (a paragraph) that they are experiencing difficulties processing orders in a quick manner, and that it will take awhile to process and update the VIP points. I just received an email that my order was received - so, we will see if they ship the promised date. Since the promised ship-date falls on the weekend, I have a feeling it won't ship out until the following Monday.
  11. Woot! Just Pre-ordered 2 of these! Keeping one boxed while I build one for fun.
  12. Target always got the new sets weeks in advance before the official "sale-date" or when it became available online S@H. Unloading the truck in the mornings I was like a kid in a candy store when those boxes of NEW sets came fresh off the truck :classic: Too bad we had to back stock them because we couldn't set the product until the date stamped on the box ... Maybe TLG wants to be sure it hits retailers before going live online with new products??
  13. Christmas sweetness...this is going on my list for sure. Love how you get all those elves - the sleigh is cool, too.
  14. I always enjoy progress pictures. I, too, lean towards the way you are doing the rail-ties - I'm doing the same in my track layout. ...look forward to seeing more pictures and progress
  15. Just amazing!! The buildings look incredible and the landscaping detail is what ties it all together!
  16. Bigger is better!! Really nice work!
  17. It's a very clever and colorful set. It'll be great for playability - driving into town, unloading the ride in the center of town, then having all the mini-figs coming to ride, then packing it all up at the end of the weekend. It's a great addition to the center of town for a "weekend" carnival - it's cool how it all packs onto the trucks. I say it's a great set; but, I'm going to pass on this one and put my money towards the Mini-Cooper, Benny's Space Ship, and the Ghostbusters car.
  18. I have roughly maybe 30-50k in sets plus loose pieces combined - it's still growing based on PaB hauls
  19. I have all 9; but, I only bought one of each. Yea...I could've bought 2 of each just to have one out and the other boxed;, but, I couldn't afford to have all that money just "sitting" there where I'd rather spend the money on other sets besides modulars
  20. Yep...I noticed the PaB cup went up after getting a tall one yesterday. I'm not complaining - I want LEGO to still be around for years, and will keep buying to support the company when prices increase (even if it's a few cents to a dollar on parts and containers
  21. Those masonry bricks are a diamond-in-the-rough with the PaB wall. I was lucky enough to have gotten a bunch when it was just poured...the next day they were all gone, and had no more in the back. I just picked up the following: 20 - 6x8 Green plates (nice surprise) 30 - 4x4 Dark Grey plates and a bunch of bamboo and plant stalks to fill the gaps in a large PaB cup.
  22. I'd buy it for that much just to get the garage doors from the set - plus the type of pieces you get. And again, I always look at the sets for parts. You can always MOD it later...if you desire.
  23. You gave me a good reason to visit the local LEGO store down the street showing off those parts!
  24. This was my ultimate favorite set; I was not a happy camper when the white pieces turned yellowish :( This set was a Christmas gift from my parents. I played with it 5 days straight flying the plane around my living room. I was in the 7th grade, too. ha-ha!
