  1. I really like this version a lot better! The black tiles on the roof give it a cleaner look, the white skylights are a nicer touch than the blue, and the tan, white, and black colors work very well together.
  2. X2 This is the approach I am taking - I started modding sets, then created an entire train station from scratch understanding how modular buildings are made (from techniques online and by sets)...and now I am building sets from a long time ago from either extra pieces from sets, PaB walls, or Brink-linking. I get a lot of inspiration from prior Lego sets, or looking through posts from AFOL's on their latest Modular MOC's. You'll want to start small at first...then from there you'll start acquiring more sets, more pieces, and eventually have A LOT as time progresses. I started small in 2002 with one modular. Now 12 years later, I have ALL the modulars up-to-date, a few trains, track, PaB pieces, 8000 piece Train Station, and landscaping parts from the PaB wall. Patients...your collection will grow as well as your techniques - it takes time to acquire new skills
  3. That looks awesome! ...like someone mentioned above, it'll look great in a train yard!
  4. I'd really love to go to Legoland Billund - hopefully I can save up for that trip one day. Mainly because it is the original park and that's where Lego was "born". I've been to the California and Florida parks a few times already. Now that Legoland Florida has the gardens open...I'd like to see the animal models in the gardens
  5. I've seen some guys take a whole entire box of a certain piece for $99.00 in the US. He wanted the brown 2x4 flat pieces.
  6. I always like these kinda videos!! ...the music is fun to listen to - like the train is in a hurry to make it to its destination :)
  7. Very clean and well done! I really like the sand green - such a beautiful color to use for buildings!
  8. That's when PaB addiction kicks in - You have been fair warned you'll want to return again and again! ha-ha
  9. ha-ha, nice one!!
  10. Is that the one TAPS investigated for hauntings??? It looks great by the way!!
  11. ...Only if I were a mini-fig I'd rock out at the park all day!! ha-ha Nice job!!!
  12. This one surprised me of being sold out quicker than the BTTF car and or Minecraft. Right now it's showing "Temporarily Out of Stock"...which means it may go "Sold Out" soon. I was debating on getting it or not...I'm passing on it.
  13. ...also on S@H. Tempting for just $10
  14. Creative and a lot of detail added into the model. But, wow...$250! I'm going to pass on this set for that high of a price. It's higher than the Simpsons House
  15. ...this set better have printed pieces and no stickers just like the BTF car.
  16. Mine are in shoe boxes...stored away; I'll always keep my models together, and never really need those instructions any more
  17. I need to find a lego wife!! haha. I love the story of how you and your husband met and merged Legos!
  18. I ended up finding one Mermaid in the Disney Lego Store - took me 30 mins to search through all 8 bins by the registers... People were asking me what was in each bag when they stood in line - they noticed I was feeling the bags, ha-ha!! They had too many Pandas, Taco Tuesday's, Wild-style's, and Emmet's by feel. I have 10 of the 16 so far...
  19. Yea...I thought the building the bag out of bricks was the funniest part!! ha-ha! Just imagine if Adam started to count out a set like Tower Bridge!
  20. Didn't know if anyone has shared this or seen this...
  21. I especially like the color scheme of the building, and the little details you packed into each aspect of the building. Great job for being your first modular MOC!
  22. Still amazes me how a big mold makes tiny pieces that get sucked up by "mom vacuums"!! I still dream of the monorail when I see one in person, photos, or when someone actually has the sets and accessories...just wish I wasn't so young with only allowance money to get Lego Sets. I didn't have such a large allowance...
  23. Welcome to the world of retail...Target tries to get a last minute impulse buy for buyers in line. So, why not jack the price when Bobby goes, "mom. look!!"
  24. ...yea, I'm curious, too, of what parts or sets this buyer bought from you???
