I was skeptical going to PF mainly because I have some 9v. When I realized my layout is increasing, and I don't have any more 9v track and motors...it was going to get expensive. So, I scrapped the 9v way of trains, and went PF knowing it'll be cheaper in the long-run (for now anyways). As long as LEGO doesn't switch to another way or system. Going the PF route requires a lot more equipment to hide in the engine (battery box and reciever; but, it's cheaper in the long run if you get a bigger layout and or more engines. Plus you don't have to mess with the wires running from the track to the control regulator. Mostly depends on the size of your layout, how much you want to invest, and how many trains you want running on your layout.

I certainly like the front and rear bumper...you worked the curves well into the design (IMO) And the dual exhaust looks well done...looks like the binoculars...

I love all the small scenes going on in each of the rooms! I'm sure this was fun to MOC!

Absolutely amazing!! I love every detail that went into this! The truck has to be my favorite along with the amazing detail with the architecture of the building. The colors work real well with each other, and the small accessories and figures help add to the character of the building

Wow, I love it!! It definitely has a city feel to it! Great work on this  ALOT of great detail to the model, too!

Anyone like more pictures? Emmet has been visiting the construction site...evaluating the site job. Working on the Warehouse Truck Parking (between the building and grey fencing)

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
KringlesBricks replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm honestly excited about this one; another classic/popular movie car to add to the cussoo series. Would have been nice to include the building - I think the 2 go hand-in-hand. Now only if they can push the Ghostbuster Building as a Modular Set :) -
Sounds like good news and bad news. Thats nice to see them add the masonry bricks to the PaB; but, disappointing to see almost every brick went up by $.05 to $.10. :( It may seem like my PaB days via the Shop@Home is over, and relying more on BL and the PaB walls at the Lego Stores

2014 CREATOR Houses Sets - Rumours and Discussion
KringlesBricks replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Town
I really like the color scheme of the buildings. And, yes; looks like a great parts pack - doors, windows, the color bricks and tile. Only deciding factor is the overall price, and the price per piece. -
Did you hit your yearly quota?! haha - joking

I started playing around with it earlier today. One feature I love is once you place a brick, it re-creates the same brick without having to go back to the brick-pick window to select the same brick again and again. It has limited amount of bricks compared to the actual LDD software.

I just went there, and it's back up. If they did add new pieces, anyone know what they are? I guess I can always go piece by piece...

I used one of many holiday boxes I got back in December today...and one of the associates didn't scribble out the barcode at check-out. Could I just re-use it??? Has anyone else got away without a scribble on the barcode??

...got a point. I moved it to the right side so it's not in the middle any more.

I'm surprised the Station comes with 4 straight pieces; a nice bonus to the set. It's a neat little station; creative with the cafe on the outside with the chief. Not too impressed with the freight train. Looks like the Maersk Engine shortened with less detail and "bigger parts". I'll more than likely going to pass on the freight train and station for sure. The ICE train is tempting as the front is actually pretty cool looking (but, then again, it's one "big piece" for a front end. And reminds me of the Horizon Express with less detail. I'll stick with the Maersk Engine, my MOC train station, and my Horizon Express, and let these sets pass. I feel kids will love these sets as the freight train and train station is really playable.

Nive job hiding the motor in the tender...I didn't realize it was in the tender until I looked more closely at the pictures. It surely is a beautiful engine; and yes, I agree - one of the BEST designed by TLG!

I am finally able to get back on this project; I relocated to Orlando. I reunited with a few more of my Lego pieces and Horizon express, and track to get moving on this Train Station again. Here is a teaser of the TRAIN sign being placed in front of the building with plans of surrounding it a flower bed, and walk way. Thought I throw in another update picture :) Stay tuned...more details to follow..

I really like the upper floor...the movie room floor. Great job making the projector room it's own room, and enclosing the actually movie room. I never understood why put Windows in a projector room?!?! You gave me some ideas to MOD my Palace Cinema when I get to building it

Fantastic entries and congrats to all who participated!! Congrats winners! -
Do they ever put 1x1 plates on the wall??? Not round, square. I really want grey dark grey tan and brown for my rail tracks to sit on plus to make a city square with all those different colors (like a pebble look)
