  1. I tend to wait until I get above $20 worth to start thinking about what to use it for. I mainly use my points towards PaB orders, baseplates, or Mini-fig Series. I rarely use VIP points on big sets because I want to earn more points on the bigger items versus the smaller priced items - if that makes sense... There was one time I earned up to like $150 in VIP points, and that's when I picked up a FREE Horizon Express - which was awesome...but,took ALOT of buying and saving VIP Points for that one.
  2. I like it...it's simple and clean. But, wow...the Town Hall swallows the new Detective Agency
  3. Amazing re-creations of the classics! I really like the 6624 re-make. Nice work.
  4. I really like how you keep the classic look and mix it with the new modular look. Well done!
  5. Mine is saying in Warehouse too. Should have gone to the Lego Store to pick these up - they had plenty of Birds and the new Lego Movie sets when I picked up Series 13 figures...would have been quicker. Speaking of Birds...thought it would sell out fast; that's why I ordered online. Now I gotta wait like, hum, forever
  6. Good thing I went to the Lego Store to pick up five more at $5 each. Almost doubling the price on us. And look at the brick separator...2.49 each. You get it included in big sets.
  7. I personally got it to put it with a couple of my creator houses; I was planning to use it as a "tree-house" clubhouse for the neighborhood kids. It's a fun build. After building it, I was like...did I really spend that much on this little thing...that was before it was on sale. For 24 bucks, it would be worth getting. it's a nice little add-on for a "child-scene" or addition to a backyard. Or placed in the forest/woods where kids like to go run and play.
  8. Tempting to get just for those Dark Tan plates and the green plate...and those windows. But, a bit pricey at $90.
  9. I'm just thinking to myself how this got leaked...someone loose their job at TLG?? Or is this a "new" marketing strategy? Excited to see "a rumored" Ferris Wheel. Hoping it goes with the Carousel 10196.
  10. I use the small/medium/large jewelry bags you can get at a Craft Store...make each bag hold a certain part in a certain color...then throw all the bags with the same color in a Priority Mail Box I get from Bricklink orders. I have a box for each color. Free storage boxes + 10-20 bucks in clear plastic bags = More money for sets :classic: For Mini-figures...I use the Lego Store Pick-a-Brick cups. One cup for heads, one cup for torsos, etc., etc.
  11. Wow, absolutely amazing! Great attention to detail and I love the platforms, the trains in the station, and the huge-tall station. The colors work really well for a train station building. The front tall window looks exactly like a real station's front entrance. And the interior of the station is so cool with all the small shops, and are those lockers I see in the baggage part of the station? Clever and overall great design and a lot of hard work that paid off. My most favorite part are all the small scenes going on in the overall display of the station and the mix of old and new trains!
  12. Sucks about the Blue - I was hoping to pick up a few for a river. But, it's all good. I re-planned my layout to not have a river after hearing this. Still sucks... But, I am excited about the Tan - nice addition and new color
  13. That's good to hear they'll be back - it gave me a scare... Thanks
  14. Just noticed the Green 32x32 Baseplates are sold out on S@H. I don't recall seeing these selling out before. Has anyone else seen these sold out in the past and then came back in stock?? I just went to the Lego Store and bought 5 of them afraid they would stop selling these.
  15. Cool to see a tennis court. I plan on putting one in my park soon. Nice work...the court looks great.
  16. Okay...great...you got me hooked!! ha-ha!
  17. Target has a few small sales going on now. The Lego Movie set 70812 Creative Ambush is on sale for $23.99 Save $16
  18. Picked up my PR - my store was packed as soon as it opened (I got there a couple minutes before they opened) - grabbed the last PR on the shelf because I didn't want to risk asking if they had any more in the back. All the Series 12 figures are GONE... So went to Target and found ONE pig!!
  19. Maybe I'll go pick up another PR...an extra 320 in VIP points. I want to save my money for the new Detective Office Modular and the Birds Set.
  20. I had a feeling there would be another round made...surprised it was this soon. I'm sure TLG is seeing a spike in sales again, ha-ha!
  21. Amazing detail and very well matched to the original. The color scheme works nicely, and all the small details really add to the overall building. After looking at the details you added, you gave me an idea of adding an electrical/breaker box to my personal Trackside Workshop / Signal House
  22. Very clean, simply, and nice looking!!
  23. Jackpot!! Got the following today at the store in 2 Tall Cups. The GOOD STUFF finally hit the Downtown Disney Wall! 48x 1x10 White Brick 15x 1x4x3 White Windows w/ Glass 5x 1x4x6 White Door Frame w/ White Door 18x 6x12 Green Plates 66x 1x5 White Tall Wall Brick 250x 1x2x2 Tan Corner Plates 400 Total Pieces (.075 cents per brick) Then got an entire Tall Cup of TAN 2x2 Tiles. Woot!
  24. I used to sit on the carpeted floor and have my bins and bags scattered around me working on pillowcases - I use pillow cases so the "carpet fibers" didn't get stuck in my building. I am 100% anti-carpet when it comes to my LEGO pieces touching or even spilling on carpet. Now that I am in my 30's, sitting is being too hard on my knees and the rest of my body. With my new place in 3-4 months, I can get a huge train layout built where I can build on the layout it self and roll a chair around sitting while building.
  25. Both are awesome sets. If you eventually want both sets, I'd recommend getting the Camper first before it retires soon - It's been out for awhile. You can always wait on the Mini-Cooper since it just came out. I got both, and they go hand-in-hand.
