  1. Looks great. Well done.
  2. Raspberry Pi 3 model B has Bluebooth LE. You don't need a BT LE USB dongle like with some laptops or PCs. You can make use of the Node.js library by our Mr Hobbles. It is possible to automate the Power Function trains over infrared if you have some Power Function trains too.
  3. Yes, I still have one. I haven't used it much lately. It is $8 vs $12 here. You pay for the extra pair of wires, ID resistor, new connector.
  4. You can buy Power UP from Bricklink. HUB: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=167439#T=S&C=1&O={"color":1,"iconly":0} TRAIN MOTOR: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=167303#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11,"iconly":0}
  5. Thanks for the review. The new motor seems better suited for stronger System build mounting than the old M motor was. It was somewhat of a challenge to mount the M-motor strongly without using Technic pieces. I am not going to stock up on PF motors. I have enough burnt out GBC motors that I could probably desolder the PF connector cables and recable the new motors for PF. Just have to send power to the electric motor on C1/C2, don't need the ID pins nor the 9V power lines.
  6. Those aren't Chinese characters. Maybe the Koreans outsourced the work to Pakistan, cheaper labour costs? Just click on "Report post" and specify "spam" to help out our moderators.
  7. This year LEGO released the newly re-imaged Friends mini-dolls. The new ones are not quite the same as the old ones.
  8. Crazy Rich Asians. I recognize one of the buildings as LEGO set 21021.
  9. I would probably get 60198 at some point when budget and sale price matches up. I think it has better play value than the passenger train.
  10. Dishwasher uses high pressure water jets. Chances are good that water will be forced into your power function motors and electronics. It can lead to short circuits and corrosion.
  11. Darn, I don't have my rotary snowplow MOC still together. Here's my LEGO Friends version with the power function inside. I basically attached a M-motor directly to the Technic axle piece through a Technic brick.
  12. Welcome aboard, Adrian.
  13. Underdog, Dudley Do-Right, Josie and the Pussycats, Speed Buggy?
  14. graphic novels?
  15. Only one team per person will play in the tournament. You can build more than one team and have a qualifying round to determine which one of your teams go to the tournament. To keep things fair for everyone, you can only have one team play in the tournament. Any nation's players can come to Bastion to participate in the tournament. There is no blockade of Bastion by PRIO. There is no licensing of properties requirement for this tournament. You are building a vignette and not properties to enter the tournament. I am keeping it simple like the annual Eurobricks Christmas raffle. As many as you want. I guess a NPC could theoretically win. The physical prizes will be awarded to the real players. NPC could be disqualified for being phonies. Let's see how many entries we get first.
  16. While raiding rules are being worked out, let's have a friendly soccer tournament in the meantime.
  17. Avast! As the winner of last year's soccer tournament, I have to pleasure to host to this year's tournament. Arrr, a boat load of LEGO Friends soccer balls have arrived in Bastion. Let's get the ball rolling on the friendly tournament. boatloadofballs by dr_spock_888, on Flickr RULES: -Open to members of the four BoBS factions. -Build minimum a 16x16 vignette of your team in Bastion. You can put [BTSC] in the title. -Post a link to your thread here to enter your team. 18. I still have that fire station. It stayed built for over 35 years.
  19. Aye, it is not good etiquette to run another challenge while a major challenge is happening. It could be I'm logging in from the Tardis. Unexpected Visitors by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  20. Very cool, they used polygons (triangles) to shape the body shell. I wonder if they got that from video graphics technology.
  21. Cool mod. Couldn't watch the entire video though. Seasick Kitty by Mel F., on Flickr
  22. Neat. It is like that life size Star Wars X-Wing fighter built a few years ago in New York. The purpose is marketing, n'est-ce pas?
  23. Welcome aboard, boogie. GBC Trains will definitely need space and funds and are addictive.
  24. Welcome to Eurobricks. This is the correct place to post an intro.
