Welcome to Eurobricks, GLX. Isn't GLX a Volkswagen model trim designation?

Printing and laser cutting replacement cloth sails

Very nice. Have you considered cutting them with a drag knife? Laser leaves burn marks. -
Santa Pirate by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Delivering presents or pirating presents? Thanks for running this again, CopMike.

compressed during transport ? degraded quality ? or fake ?

One of the property of ABS plastic is that it shrinks as it cools down from a melted to solid state. If it doesn't cool down evenly, then it warps. The bigger the part, the more chances of that happening and more noticeable it is. If the piece is unuseable for the purpose you bought it for, contact the store and/or LEGO. -
Great little build. Note to self, avoid family hour.

Nice. Please keep in mind our max pic size is 1024x768 as per site guidelines.

Thanks for the great review. This set should have come out sooner then we wouldn't had to Bricklink parts to clone our own for a train show last month. I think a wind farm is easier to plunk down that a coal power plant. There are also off-shore wind farms. Has anyone try to make the turbine turn and follow people as they walk by using Mindstorm or some other solution to detect and track people?

Our LUG has a Flickr group. Most of our members with over 1000 photos are already PRO paying Flickr users. The change isn't that big of an impact for us except I have 1096 photos. UGH.

Standards are important if you plan to connect your GBC module to others at events. If you're doing your own thing, then not so much.- 1,124 replies

Nice house. Good details. Marry wisely so you don't end up over drinking.

Photobucket was free for a long time, then it changed to paid for deep-linking. Any service provider can change. You get statistics. With free I see I have 3M views on my photostream but I don't have any other details. You get discounts with Adobe and others. You also get a "PRO" icon next to your username. I was using free Flickr when their limit was 200 photos. That kinda forced me to post only the best photo of the MOC to Flickr and the rest to Brickshelf. I used Photobucket for non-MOC LEGO photos. Now I use postimg.org for that. Flickr and Brickshelf worked well for me posting MOCs on EB. When Brickshelf is down, people can still see the linked Flickr image and vice versa when Flickr sometimes does that Bad Panda thing. -
Free flickr was 200 photos back when I joined. I only posted the best shot of my MOC on Flickr and the other shots went on Brickshelf. I used Photobucket for the "throwaway" insta photos. I managed to stay under the 200 limit as I wasn't a prolific MOCer. I had different pics of my MOC on different sites just in case one goes down, go out business or change their service.

Congrats to the winners. -
Passive RFID chips need time to energize. Would larger or multiple antennas work? Maybe another option to use active RFID chips which are better for high speed applications like electronic toll roads.

Very nice work on the bus. I like how the battery is almost like cargo for the roof rack. I used the same motor mount for my Pacer railcar MOC. It worked well enough for Pacer reliability and ride quality. Actually it is fine for light loads like one car.

Thank you all. Thanks. Ghost Train is a nice set for Halloween stuff. I think it is worth getting if you have the chance. I MOD'ed mine with Power Functions and to run on train tracks. Then I parted out to make electric box cab MOCs. Ghost Train - Power Functions by dr_spock_888, on Flickr

Can you see a drive letter for the SD card in your Windows Disk Management? You can also try something like SD Card Formatter from SD Association to reformat your SD card. -
Welcome aboard, trainiac. Which part of Canada are you in?

Boo! I made a spooky train for the Halloween themed Adult Night at our local LEGO Discovery Centre. I made the tender to fit a 9V train motor that my fellow LUG member provided and it ran perfectly on her 9V tracks. I also had a gondola full of deceased puppies. Unfortunately, it was too dark at the LDC to film that train with my phone. Spooky Train by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Happy Halloween! Rest In Pieces.
