  1. Nice. That worked out well for the engineer.
  2. There are Android emulators (like BlueStack) for Windows. I am not sure which ones (if any) might work with the PU app. It could be something to test and see.
  3. I have sets here and there and everywhere and some forgotten. Hopefully I'll have time to build them after I retired...assuming I can retire.
  4. Welcome aboard, Yann.
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks, Pandelmonium. What kind of customs do you make?
  6. Congrats on the new position, Jim.
  7. Nice. If you enjoy building these kinds of decorated modules, then continue to do so. :classic:
  8. Another option might be to try building without clothes on.
  9. You can always splice wires and hack something together to make it work if you're not 100% purist. I've done some nonpurist stuff to power my GBC at outdoor picnics.
  10. Some times LEGO will include an embargo and other times they don't with sets sent to influencers. It doesn't mean you can't start working on your review as soon as you received the box of goodies. Generally, it means you can't publish it until after the embargo has lifted. It is not a big deal unless you don't like being scooped by other reviewers who didn't have to agree to the same Terms & Conditions. Since the boom can't go at least horizontal, it is going to be an issue loading it on a lowboy trailer and fitting under the Technic overpass bridge. It might make a good bridge crash video though.

  12. Lubricants and cleaning can help but at certain point parts replacement is required. gbc wear and tear by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  13. Welome to Eurobricks, Barthezz Brick.
  14. Doing good reviews is hard work and takes time like a fine wine.
  15. There are a number of 3D printable SG90 adapters for LEGO on Thingiverse.com. There are some with Technic pin holes. I haven't tried those yet. I've only printed one with system studs at the local public library for tinkering with bluetooth & arduino train track switch remote control.
  16. You could string some lights, garlands, HO HO HO stickers, candy canes, gold lettering/numbers/trim, reindeers, etc.
  17. Cool. One way to keep out dust might be to create positive air pressure in the displays. You pump in air that has been fine particle filtered. The human body sheds a lot of dead skin cells which end up as dust. Keeping people out of the room can help too. :classic:
  18. I went in on a group buy of a full CMF box. It's the first time I bought that many at a time.
  19. Nicely done. A bit more decorations and you're ready for Christmas in July.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  21. Welcome aboard, Louis. :classic:
  22. Interesting info. I had loads of trouble communicating with LEGO Boost motor hub at a LEGO Discovery Centre event with two different brands of phones running the Boost app. It didn't seem to be losing connection but commands weren't reponsive. It worked great in my basement though. It doesn't appear to be FCC certified and not safe to eat. Brand Name: YuwanToys Material: Plastic Plastic Type: ABS Plastic Block Shape: Self-Locking Bricks Age Range: > 6 years old Warning: no eat Model Number: 8885 Gender: Unisex Certification: 3C 3C: Certificate Certificate Number: 2017012203937051 Barcode: No
  23. 16 Series 18 CMFs. Time to party.
  24. Orange was used in the Volvo excavator for safety grabs. Does that mean our crane operator can grab the fan? I suppose using the same color pieces across multiple themes and sets can help with reducing costs in production and inventory. What other 2018 sets can the orange fan piece be found in?
