Welcome to Eurobricks. There are a few recent topics of 3D printing parts in the Technics and Train forum. I think there might be a really old one about 3D printing replacing LEGO in the General forum. I don't think posting about 3D printing would be any problems. If it is in the wrong spot, the MODs will just move it.

Budgeting and choosing sets for your collection
dr_spock replied to Tmanderson's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't have a budget. I buy with cash. Therefore, the probability is good I won't overspend. -
Nice build and keeping it within the BoBS era (mostly).

It could be those retailers choose for whatever reason not to carry LEGO trains. Perhaps they don't move off the shelves as quickly as other items. That's money sitting in inventory that can be used for other business purposes in the mean time. It is probably important if your margins are pretty thin in the cut throat race to the bottom. I had to make my own half-wide Technic 13L beams. What's that saying, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself?

Clever. Does the flushing handle move with each flush? -

Interesting. Churches can be locations to hold social events. There's more to religion than just worshipping. You can also rent them for LUG meetings and events. An example of LEGO church in smaller scale

Lovely build. License plate is cute.

It has been done before. I can't remember who did it.

I think it's "Hello from a newbie" if I can remember my high school Italian. Welcome to Eurobricks, tecnomod.

Here is a TP-Link Wifi dongle that works on my EV3 with ev3dev. I believe it is based on the Realtek chipset. I didn't notice any network issues when I Putty'ed into my EV3. Instead of Etcher, I used Image Writer Win32DiskImager to put the *.img on my SD card since I am already using it to image SD cards for my Raspberry Pi'es.

For sets that I review, I put the stickers on. On other sets, I usually don't. Sometimes I do if it looks better with stickers. I play with the adult version at work called shipping labels. Lots of practice at work makes it easy line up those LEGO stickers straight.

Depends on the hardness of your fingernails. That'll vary from one person to another. Brick separators can be useful to prevent breaking nails if you like to grow them long. I've managed to crack bricks with a separator. Where and how you apply force is also important to avoid damage. Another thing to consider is jewelry like rings that can scratch the plastics.

Any building can be converted to a church. Even a local bowling alley was turned into a church after it went out of business. You are only limited by your imagination (and how much funding you can collect from your parishioners).

On a side note, deep linked Photobucket images work again now but with a Photobucket watermark on them. Looks like they changed their policy again.

I think the do not share LEGO confidential is also a condition to be a LEGO Recognized LUG, Online Community, etc.
