  1. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  2. I live in cold country and haven't noticed any cracking problems with my figs from 1980s and the recent ones. I now store my figs in ziplok plastic bags in a dark basement. The inside torso ribbing design is different between 1980s and now. The black one is the firefighter fig from a 1980 fire station that sat on a shelf near a window for decades. Its joints are very stiff to move. It feels like old LEGO that sat around for a long time and not played.
  3. Nice use of those brick separators. We tossed a whole bunch into some play bricks so kids can use them at our events.
  4. Yes, we have and there is already a topic on it -> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=140382 Clones can be discussed over in the Community forum...
  5. Power Miners had dynamite. I don't think Rock Raiders had explosives. Power Mniers also had those funny videos on YouTube with the designers. I vote crystal loving Rock Monsters for the win. Day 176 of 365: Pretty Crystals by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  6. Nice build. The tiled water works well with your blue backdrop. Those pirates seem to surrender too quickly for someone going to gallows.
  7. Unless the images have been leaked then that 12 weeks window becomes shorter.
  8. How about PF LEDs? Their brightness would be directly proportional to the speed if you connect them to the motor.
  9. Nice little build. It is interesting he brought along armed guards to deliver news of the treaty. Is it for anyone who don't agree will be shot?
  10. Our story begins with the Eslandolan treasure ship and her armed escorts anchored in an island cove for the night. Their crew and ships slept peacefully with minimal night watch, confident that no one knew they were there. Little did they know that their secret confidential itinerary had been scandalously kinky compromised. Like Rodentia Rattus, the pirates used the relative safety of darkness to get around the escort service. They knew they couldn't take on the Eslandolan Ships of the Line. Silence was golden as they paddled towards the anchored ships in the cove. Soon the treasure ship was infested with Rattus Piratus. The night watch deceased by the plague of cold hard blacksmith steel. The pirates scampered quickly to get the treasure off the ship, tossing treasure chests overboard to waiting hands. An agreement is an agreement. The pirates returned to the reputable establishment to hand over a share of the treasure for the information provided by "Xenia". Loose lips didn't sink ships but maybe some Eslandolan officers' careers. The End
  11. Do you remember the exact date when you submitted the MRCA forms for those ships? Were they part of a pre-set convoy? What were the names of the convoys?
  12. Welcome aboard, Nadine. Nice vignettes.
  13. Click the link to form our ambassador provided, there are other questions and sets, not just those shown in the sample picture.
  14. You are a member of Eurobricks. Eurobricks is recognized as an online LUG.
  15. Many country's postal services have a website listing their rates. You can use to see to get an idea what the shipping costs might be and figure out which country is cheaper for shipping. Also check your country's customs for any import duty for goods coming from the the country you're buying your parts. Some Bricklink shops have the QUOTE feature enabled. You can use to get a quote from the seller with the shipping and handling costs included before you commit to buy.
  16. Not really, an ok external microphone would work fine for voice. It is not like you are singing and need high fidelity. You can film the video and do a simple voice over narration. You don't have to talk and film at the same time. Windows Moviemaker allows you to do narration of your videos in post production. Doesn't YouTube do automatic translation subtitles?
  17. Have you tried displaying in different parts of your home? Hanging models off the ceiling? I have stuff upstairs and downstairs.
  18. 83 supporters with 59 days left to get to 100 at the time of the post. I think it could use a laser but that may be against modern weapon policies.
  19. Lindsey Stirling featuring Carah Faye.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks, Gruja. What are you studying?
  21. Nice job on the tracks. We are basically building the same thing. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=139467
  22. That's interesting idea to get around PDFs. I guess they can also make extra money if they put ads into the free app.
  23. 60 day rule may not help quality. It will help cut down the quantity of projects sticking around to 365 days. It can make the size of active projects more manageable and less daunting for those browsing through gathering support.
  24. Children's likes and dislikes can be influenced by their parents. Children will do whatever or play with whatever until you tell them it is wrong to do so. Some times you may have to tell them a bunch of times before it sinks in. As they get older, their peer group will be another source of influence. My daughter wasn't into Barbie until she started school and met other girls whose parents got them Barbies... I suppose minidolls can be action figures too if you send them into action. Day 251 of 365: Friendly Landing by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Or activist actions. Day 325 of 365: Photojournalist by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  25. That was quick. The sunny hardly moved. I guess it pays to train continously.
