  1. Welcome to EB, Retrobrick83!
  2. The whole thing is really great! The overall shape is nice, lovely side-by-side cockpit, nice engine compartment in the back, and of course the classic space color scheme is lovely. Nicely done.
  3. Agreed- the photo setup is fun, and that is a nice solution to the radiator at that scale. Well done!
  4. Wow - that's great! Nice posing. Looking forward to seeing the completed display as well!
  5. The trees are great, and I guess that's especially important given the subject matter! The roof on the building is also nice. Well done.
  6. Phenomenal. It's kinda crazy- the landscape is beautiful, but it's overshadowed by the giant (literally and figuratively ). Everything about it is delightful. The bigfig arms as regular arms (obviously) works well, but you've nailed the relative scales. The posing is also top-notch. Really wonderful all-around!
  7. A "disreputable" chest. Nice wording. Interesting build and story, and I must say that's some NPU on the chair in her office.
  8. Whoa. Fun story, and astounding build! How stable is the upper part of the hull construction in reality, do you think? And do you have some more detail on that construction/shaping method somewhere? I assume it cuts into the interior volume a fair bit? Great color scheme on the Santa Clara, and the mini versions of both are still great as well. Also, the purist rigging is beautiful.
  9. WOW!! That cut-away train I hadn't seen before, and it's absolutely spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
  10. Fun build, and a simple but effective background you've constructed there. As for the color, I'm pretty sure it's a combination of poor color quality control for a while, along with aging bricks.

Ah, so it is! Slightly different print, but a blank name tag... and I have it in my closet waiting to be built!
  12. Can you give us a little more info on what you're trying to accomplish? Are you trying to create other characters from the movie, or do you not have access to the official minifigs of the Ghostbusters hero cast? If it's the latter, I would assume you have a stock of minifigs to work with (since if you were going to buy some I'd think you'd just buy the actual Ghostbusters minifigs), so can you let us know what you have to work with?

Nice look overall, and a great compact build. Shame about that "Larry" on the torso - come ON, TLG!
  14. Wow, great alternate build! You've captured the look of the real thing nicely, and good color scheme. Fairly basic but well-executed features build in unobtrusively. Nice work!
  15. That's great. Love the pipe organ!
  16. Welcome to EB, Diego-J. Please review the site rules/guidelines you agreed to when signing up, in particular: "LEGO Ideas: If you have a great MOC, that is also a LEGO Ideas project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the Ideas business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!." At least post some photos of your creation here for people to see and comment on rather than just a commercial for your Ideas project. That said, I do like the overall look of your stage setup and I think it captures the spirit of the album design fairly well.
  17. Welcome to EB, nick17! Looking forward to seeing some aggie MOCs.
  18. Can you be a little more specific about your setup? Did you start with a slider profile and modify it, or do you strictly have sliders for control? I think for just the driving interface on a small vehicle, joystick with auto-centering and a single slider for forward/reverse speed makes the most sense (imitating a standard, simple RC controller).
  19. Wow! Really great work. I especially like all the roof work details on the station. The use of the different slopes on the dome is well done... and the overall size is impressive too!
  20. Hi Brykster - welcome to EB! Definitely spend a little more time in the FAQ post as it answers your questions in more detail. The short answers are: 1. Yes, you currently have 1 post (shown right above your country in postings with your user info on the left of the page, and of course in your profile as well). 9 more posts and you can post in those particular forums that have the extra spam control in place. 2. Again, more info in the FAQ under the Posting and Etiquette section, but the 100KB of attachments you're referring to is mean only for very limited use, such as putting a few small images in your EB signature. To post images of MOCs, etc., you'll want to use a service like Flickr from which you can easily embed your images into your EB posts. Hope that helps. Happy building!
  21. Yes, if you have that available it would probably look that much better, but it's great as-is for a purist xenomorph at minifig scale.
  22. Nice scarecrow.
  23. Looks good - takes the curves nicely, and great shaping on the front. Now you just need some longer straights so it can really get up to speed!
  24. Welcome to EB, Syal!
  25. Nice scene overall with the lighting and such, and I must say that the alien at that scale is nicely done. And about the purple belt... maybe that xenomorph just likes to accessorize!
