  1. Wow - that dog is very cool! NPU throughout, but I definitely like the 2x2 turntable plate for the tongue and all the rest of the parts use around the mouth!
  2. Wow - I had seen the Enterprise-D before which I thought looked pretty bad, but that TOS Enterprise is pretty nice! I wonder how structurally sound it is. Still wouldn't buy them since they're MegaBloks, but I'd consider buying that bridge set just for the decals/printed bricks for MOCing purposes.
  3. For me, if I feel the set has some collectible/long-term value and the box was sealed with stickers (not glued), I'll flatten and keep the box. Most of the glued boxes are small sets or commodity sets (like generic Town stuff) that I don't think 1) will be in-demand later or 2) be missed by me down the road. :) The flattened boxes don't take up too much space, but as that stack grows I'll probably need to look at thinning it out...
  4. Well, Lego doesn't own or operate the Legoland theme parks, so probably not them buying the land, but this seems to confirm that Merlin is interested in building another park there: http://www.lohud.com/story/news/local/rockland/2016/05/26/legoland-park-planned-goshen/84974596/
  5. I absolutely love the snake hood used as Guinan's crazy hat! And Word looks like a TOS Klingon here - awesome. Also, the construction of those bar stools using the flower stems is fantastic. Wonder how well that'd hold up in real bricks... may just have to give that a try!
  6. Very nice - definitely worthy of the framing! I don't think there's any mystery as to how you did the mosaic itself, but do you have any insights you can share about how you did the matte & frame and kept it all secure? Is it just baseplates with a single layer of plates on top for the mosaic in a standard frame, or is there more to it structurally than that? Looking forward to seeing more!
  7. So the only thing I don't love is the exterior of the white flower shop building, only because it's slightly drab for my taste. I like the SNOT technique, but it feels like the 2nd floor could use a little more visual interest, like something more detailed with the columns or a different color for the windowbox planters... but overall this is just an amazing build! I love the passthrough for the truck, the greenhouse, and the interiors are fantastic! Just great!
  8. Really fun, and NPU on that torso piece!
  9. Pretty cool. Lots going on with that moon! As similar as they are, you've still done a nice job giving each side a unique feel.
  10. Nice. My favorite parts are the overall color scheme and the mushrooms! NPU there!
  11. That monument is nicely aged - the "damage" lends a bit of extra nostalgia to it, that's all. Fun, and a worthwhile tribute.
  12. So many nice details. The storehouse itself is lovely along with the stores inside it, but the snowscaping really stands out. Beautifully done!
  13. Great mechanism, and very nice results. Thanks for sharing!
  14. Welcome to EB, kiki80703! Plenty of good company here for a Modular fan!
  15. Wow, that is really fantastic! Supported!
  16. I think it looks great! Could potentially use a little refinement, but the shaping is nice (especially relative to the parts count), and it's instantly recognizable.
  17. Nice. Terak is my favorite. A lot of detail in a pretty compact package, and just great shaping and character overall!
  18. The drawer is great, and the overall drudgery you've captured in the vig is nice as well.
  19. Great build; you really did convey a lot with just a few different bricks between the chambers. Brutal little storyline!
  20. Nice! The pneumatic T part to attach the bushes looks great, as does the whole walker. Lovely photography, too.
  21. Wow! So much going on here for a relatively compact build! The overall scene is great, I like the mix of classic minifigs with stuff from the CMF line and mashups, and the tiles for texture on the wall (especially where the joints are in the curved wall) are nice.
  22. Wow - the head & face are especially great! Always love seeing more of your character builds.
  23. Nothing wrong with Duplo! And I know what you mean about going for the "feel" of a scene rather than trying to replicate every detail, and I think you've captured this feel very nicely. The last few photos really do it justice.
  24. Nice! Lovely parts usage, and you've captured the shape really well!
  25. I am feeling intimidated. Great mix of older and newer elements, and the texture on the wings is excellent as is the way you executed the Blacktron logo there!
