[WIP] Working Exo Suit
Zerobricks replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think that too, I will need more gearing, 1:1 ratio for 2 LA's isnt going to be enough... Will keep you guys updated. -
He seems to be a bit of a whacko with all those pipes and fans... Lovely creation, I love the sideways build technique for the ground.

Zerobricks replied to stephen0205's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Here's a quick uncolored model... I think you can widen the sides and recolor it... -
Its simple, but quite detailed. Looks very warm

What about using 2 RC motors? Though it may be an overkill... -
Greetings! I checked you gallery and you are a very gifted artist That wolf is so pretty, would you mind me having it as a desktop image?

I tried fixing your model, but I dont know how to say this in any other way... The model has a serious missaligniment issues. Early in the build you rotate something and missed by few tenths of a degree and than the errors just kept adding up... I suggest you to rebuild the model and than I can add springs, etc... Also the rear CV joints proboably have a 3L axle, not a 2L one... Sorry cant help you any further due to the skewed fundations.

Great spirit of the competiton right there. It looks really great, I see you used a smillar mechanism as Lego uses to tilt the bucket. -

What a cute house! love the snot-built doors.
-
I really like the unusual shape! Lovely radiators/engines in the back too. Can you also make a digital version?
-
So far so good My suggestions: Use 5,5L axles in the front instead of 4L ones. Do something to prevent the front springs from sliding out and therebye causing suspension failure.
-
Also use the 4x4 turntables to connect bogies to the body to minimize the sideways forces on the drive axle which cause friction.
