What a massive castle... Which means a massive party! The next morning must have been bad for the poor party members... I like the brick build rock fasade around the castle,

I love the view from the behind. What an awesome house, I'd love live in a house like it!
-
First thing I noticed was the magnificent arch. Good work, nice details, I also like the horn - your idea?
-
Okay, no problem... I dont remember every author and every comment i post... I know how its like to be ina sitation where you cannot get the parts...
-
Well excuse me for asking ... Iits only logical for a great model to be built IRL too...
-

-

[TC5] Old Racecar
Zerobricks replied to kennywest's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice set choice. The wheels should be the closest at this scale. -
Thats a good bit of a detective work right there. I'd say its probably denmark since most if not all models are designed there.

Googling the pictures of the game model, I have to say you really did a great job. Its such a crazy vehicle, can you tell more about it? Like whats the orange monster inf ront for, etc...

Looking at the outer diamater of almost 15 cm, I think its gonna be a really hard fit for the volvo... Maybe if you remove the mudguards? EDIT: WOHOO my 4000th post lol

Axle Collection Thread
Zerobricks replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I like the rear axle's pushrod suspension design. For the front axle I suggest you to use 6L suspension arms. -
Awesome use of brick seperators! I like the tilted shape, looks like a reversed slave from star wars.
-
Looks like those chinese stautes from Terracotta army...
-
Thats a really neat design. Building on such small scale sure has its challenges, but I think you really made an accurate model. Good work!

[WIP] Working Exo Suit
Zerobricks replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Status update: So I got all the mechanics and electronics connected and it still walks. Each arm can move indepenently and has a tool at the end which also works independently. Even though it has an IQ of a rock it seems to be quite stable unless you do stupid thing like lift the body to max height and sway both arms like crazy... All to do now is some bodywork, but I have to keep it light. -
To be honest it doesnt not look that impressive... Its missing a soul, there is no charm and its also expensive.

8455 Backhoe/Loader
Zerobricks replied to DarkShadow73's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think its usually a mix of different models. If they did an exact copy there could be some legal/licensing problems IMO. -
[MOC] Off Road Pickup
Zerobricks replied to Madoca 1977's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sounds like there's an RC motor in there and the truck is quite fast. EDIT Oh there are indeed 2 RC motors. Amazing. -
Blueprints
Zerobricks replied to nerdsforprez's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Me neither, I did try to draw some stuff like machines and animals few years ago, even got a tablet but failed... I can express myself so much better with bricks.- 7 replies

Thats literally a golden idea. That scene was really tense, the dragona ctually behaved civilized....for a few minutes. You hid Bilbo very good
-
Thats quite dark... But the scene looks good, maybe add a few red transparent bricks to represent blood?

What an awesome temple. The octopus reminds me of hydra a bit. Very realistic build.
