  1. I have seen them in a different topic as well, the built-in motor is awesome! It's great that you can just plug them in and have them extend, but I'm wondering how much torque they have.
  2. Yesterday? Wow, your postman is really slow! Wish I had a 41999, but there's no chance of getting one..
  3. That looks sick, Eigenbroetler! How did you get the dual live axles to work? Amazing job!
  4. Yeah, it's a great piece, everyone forgets about it since it's in the Bionicle section.
  5. Rubber bands? That's a lot of rubber bands. Replacing the m-motors with l-motors shouldn't be that hard, they're only 1 stud longer and have better mounting points.
  6. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34722 I know it's a little bit off topic, but I would love this, it would make RCing pneumatics extremely easy. I saw a youtube vid of a longer pneumatic cylinder, I don't know the url tho.
  7. Yes, I saw those, very interesting. I might be interested in a 24t shell gear...
  8. Wow, all of you guys have so much Technic, it's amazing! Sometimes it takes me days to find a single connector in the right color. And DreadedBeard please post some of your MOCs, they're fantastic!
  9. I think custom rims is a bit too much to print, too thick. Has anyone seen this? It kinda looks like allanp's design: Maybe a bit too big though.
  10. Nice! I'm pretty sure you're going to have problems with the 8t and 16t gears slipping, though. Or is that an axle joiner between them? Hehe sorry, I guess it is, hard to see at first glance.
  11. You might need to be a little more specific, although I get what you're saying, I tried to build a Tatra once. Are there really no pics in this topic yet? Be prepared to be asked a thousand questions about my first rock crawler tomorrow. My post is gonna be loaded with pictures.
  12. I think this is a great topic, but as soon as somebody else poses a question, the question before it might tend to be forgotten... I know it creates many more topics than one, but maybe just individual topics?
  13. How about something completely different, like a Dakar truck? It can keep the 5+R gearbox and engine, but with crazy suspension with all the a-arms and F1 links, and maybe something that uses the LA's. There are definitely enough panels for something big, but the wheels might be too small. If you just don't care, put a V16 in it or something. If it has enough functions, it could still be considered a supercar like Sheepo's Land Rover Defender 110. Not technically a supercar, but a supercar nonetheless.
  14. Darn, paul_delahaye beat me to it. Those are definitely the small balloon tyre wheels.
  15. That's interesting, even though it looks a bit weak, I really like the idea!
  16. RC OK, try to fit that on a 9398. You know, there might be space in the body for steering motors, and transfer the steering through telescopic axles. Maybe an RC motor? In the middle for the drive, and not the steering of course.
  17. Third party tires always look great! I'd love to see a crawler with 1 or 2 buggymotors and dual servos (using the large ball joints to transmit drive and having a servo on each axle). By the way, what happens if a u-joint pops apart in a large ball joint? Is it lost forever?
  18. Yes, it is definitely easier to break u-joint without diffs especially when turning. You're talking about the steering motors on the axle right?
  19. Who says it has to be all Technic? I hardly knew about technic until about 6 months ago, and I have maybe 20-25 thousand system parts. The problem is none of my lego is sorted...
  20. Sorry if this a stupid question, but how is the steering transferred to the front axle?
  21. I know it isn't but if it's just an XL-motor and IR parts, that's pretty impressive.
  22. I does look amazing! Are there any extra parts besides the XL, receiver and remote control?
  23. How about you build it out of legos? Maybe on 4 baseplates? Oops, sorry, hehe. All-lego would be cool tho.
  24. I cut a CV joint to get a 45 degree turning radius, and I have no regrets, even though they're pretty expensive. I say if you need it and you're ok with it, it's ok cut parts, e.g. a 4-stud diff to get a 24t clutch or cutting a 4l bar to get two 2l bars.
  25. Wow, it's looking great! Is there going to be room for seats, etc.?
