  1. Yes I have seen one, in fact I just built one with an m-motor. That's a very compact one though, I never thought about using the double split connector.
  2. Yeah, they glued parts to make impossible connections, I saw it in a Lego magazine a few years ago.
  3. Same here. The prices are just too high... The MOC is fantastic, it looks beautiful and it's crazy huge!
  4. You can only get them on Bricklink nowadays, they were in the RC racer sets (and 8421) till about 2005.
  5. It looks fantastic! Too bad it's not made entirely out of legos!
  6. I have 2 XL cylinders, and yes, the stroke is 6 studs. Shoot me a PM if you don't want to use Bricklink, I don't have any use for them (yet).
  7. Looks great! It seems to be struggling around 1:13, is it just the video?
  8. I know, I wish I knew about it when it came out It's an amazing set.
  9. I wish I had this set, I would put it on an RC 4WD chassis. I love the review, I think I'll be buying one of those now.
  10. I think he means the center 'axle hole'. Its like the inside of the new 6 hole rims, you can't even click a pin into it. Seems kinda pointless, I don't see why they don't just put axle holes all the way through.
  11. I think if you have lots of system parts, just make the body out of that, it will always look better than studless IMO. You would probably have to use dual shock absorbers to cope with the extra weight tho.
  12. How does the u-joint not get pulled out if the rear suspension pivot is so far out? Something to do with those 9L links?
  13. Can't you just use 4L bars to avoid cutting tons of rigid hose?
  14. Hmm, I would never use the actual bricks, but I would love to have that IR remote, maybe for an RC police car. Hmm, that's weird, look at the switches: There are no reverse switches at all, and the channel switcher says off/on. Maybe I don't want to get one.
  15. That would be pretty awesome, if someone could build the base, they could build anything on top of it!
  16. The best excavator built out of lego I've ever seen. Amazing job!!
  17. OK, I understand that. I don't think I could build that adder/subtractor system just from the pics on Brickshelf, it's very complex.
  18. I don't think so. Seriously, do you need building instructions for everything? Looking forward to the video though, it's a brilliant MOC.
  19. It's beautiful! One of the best MOC's I've ever seen, the complexity is just astounding!
  20. You know, you just posted that, and there's no really no need to bump this thread.... Oh sorry, that's actually different. Side A to side A? Maybe a little more specific?
  21. This should have been 42009, amazing job fitting all the functions in at roughly the same scale as 8258! Looks very professional, it could be a real set.
  22. Looks even better than before! Are you going to make stickers for it?
  23. It looks amazing! Do the ball joints and the ability of the pistons to rotate cause any slack in the system?
  24. How about a brick-built body? Judging by the fact that it uses m-motors instead of L or XL, I assume the goal is not speed, so maybe if you switched to L the increased weight wouldn't make a difference. I think flex axles would look a little bit weird.
