Effe's MOC Corner
Junpei replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ansmann 1:9 tyres? Could you give me a link? -
Those brackets cost four times as much as 2 studded cylinders... Also, it would be about 2-3 studs shorter if you were to use new cylinders with brackets.

Definitely the first bonnet. Totally off topic, what 3rd party tyres did you use for your big red crawler? -
[MOC] Huge NXT Ball Machine
Junpei replied to Purple Geek's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It does kind of make my eyes hurt, although how it looks like stop-motion is kind of cool. Great job on the machine, I have no idea how you did the counter. Did you use NXT motors or is it mechanical?- 5 replies

Impossible LEGO

I agree with Leewan, this topic should be merged. Could you post pictures for the people without LDD? -
Where do Rare/HTF Parts come from?
Junpei replied to Turaga of Force's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've always wondered about this too. 1974, could you take some pictures of your pneumatic cylinders? I've never heard of them in colors other than trans-blue, yellow, and trans-clear. -

I like it too! Don't the towballs stress the Technic figures' hands? Maybe you could use one of your micromotors... -
Front Suspension
Junpei replied to xF4LC0NxPUNCHx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Those are exactly what I'm talking about, see the teeth on the ends? Maybe I should have said holes on the ends. -

I know, LDD has only relatively new parts. You're talking about the plates with the teeth on the ends, right? Wait... doesn't LDD have Blacktron parts? Maybe it's just missing a lot of Technic. -

He means the blue steering arms and white wheel hubs. This is why I don't use LDD, half of the parts I build with are missing (and partially because I'm lazy ). -
I forgot to ask, what was preventing you from making the boom extension pneumatic? Maybe you'll use more of the old cylinders for something else.

It's looking good! Are the seats really that high up in a real truck? -

Astounding MOC! Are those my pneumatic cylinders you're using? By the way, where are the old cylinders?

Technic General Discussion
Junpei replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That is kind of funny, I'm surprised tho that they need an engineer. The clicky hinges 'click' in angles in multiples of 22.5 degrees... On the subject of my crawler, do you guys think I should start a WIP topic? I'm afraid it might just be waiting for BL orders. -

Thanks! I was talking about Unimog portal axles, I think it only fits 9398-size wheels and power puller wheels.
