  1. 19. Can-Am Style Race Car Original Model: 42022 Hot Rod (414 pieces) .. and my C model Features : HOG Steering Working V6 with solid rear axle Parts left over : 67 Discussion thread: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=102692
  2. Got a ticket for the Saturday, never been before so will see what its like. anyone know how good it is fir picking up old technic sets or if there are exclusive general sets at the event ?
  3. So VKs list is not definitive ? Jim, I know it might be a pain but could you post a definitive list of valid sets with the rules just so we are all clear? Still trying to work out where to do a c of a single set or a combined 2 set
  4. Great competition, printed out VKs useful link and now to go digging through my sets and come up with some thoughts.
  5. An LMP would be nice but if everyone thinks it'll be on tumbler tyres sure that's more likely to bring about a NASCAR due to the dishing of the tyres. Or perhaps it's a gt3 Le Mans car like a corvette or viper ?
  6. Hi VC, did you ever complete an LDD of the vehicle with the body all coherent and attached to a chassis ? I've been knocking up a slightly shorter chassis for a non crawler version based on your body and would be interested in an updated LDD if that's possible? Once I've finished it I'll post some pics and give credit to where it's due .... I've used sheepos scalable chassis rear axle with leaf spring design
  7. Anyone know of any 1stud wide wheels/tyres with a similar radius 2stud wide combo ? also whats the smalles anyone can make steering in terms if at the hub and height across the vehicle ?
  8. White Esprits should have a red leather interior. they also came with black or blue interiors but the red is the best
  9. So have we actually worked out / agreed what is needed for a moc to qualify as Model Team?
  10. Ok quick q for Model Team is it just the front axle that steers or is there a HOG or is the steering wheel linked ? I've started to come up with an idea in LDD, which is a pain to build in using studded for the first time! So as you've opened a fun part for LDD I might enter that ... Perhaps even build it in real bricks if it doesn't work out too expensive and I like the finished model!
  11. I'd say no to digitals. Not sure if I'll enter this myself, don't really know much about model team I have bought the recent creator mini though. Might be an excuse to dig out my old studded technic from its box
  12. I'd limit to a specific set. Would be interesting how many different models people come up with from a single set
  13. Congrats to the top 3 even if i didn't vote for any of them. There were too many good entries. Glad i finished in the top half of the table. Looking forward to what Jim has in mind for us next
  14. Would love a c model competition. Would put everyone on an even keel with the same parts list
  15. Going to edit my points then gate the reveal of the bike ... Shame it's really good
  16. I assume jim will give a full run down of the results like he superbly did for the triple contest
  17. Some fantastic entries. Here's my votes based on what I could see Lego selling and me buying (listed in entry order) 16 : 7 35 : 6 51 : 3 52 : 4 Edited because of entry 46 being an old model, previously had 4 points, points been evenly distributed over other votes
  18. Easy really ... I travel a lot for work, only had time recently to build my Mini entry and also the Creator Mini and so at the moment I have the Technic Skip Truck and the BTTF DeLorean, Ghostbusters and Minecraft: The End all sitting in their boxes unopened! They will soon be joined by the Volvo. And the UCS Tmbler but i can see those 2 being built quite soon
  19. 25. MINI Entry Name: Mini Part count: 198 Functions: Pull-Back Motor It's a Mini Promotional Image: Parts Image: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96504
  20. So when does the entry thread get posted? Think i should have some photos of mine this evening. Cant believe how many amazing models there are, voting is going to be tough
  21. Hi VC, hope you had a good time away from the forum. I actually started to build something based on this using your previously issued LDD for the base car (not crawler). I didn't get that far before the MINI competition diverted my attention and stole some bricks from your car. Things I found were that you hadn't aligned the wheel centres with studs on the body and your arches are floating in space. also I started building it out of white bricks and because you're using a lot of half width curved parts I cut these out and shortened the structure a bit. Im about to go away on holiday myself now and not back for a couple of weeks, when I'm back I'll try and take some photos of my wip. I've also been working on an engine/steering/front suspension to fit under it!
  22. I noticed there's a Beyond the Brick event over August bank holiday weekend down by London. Are they any good for an afol ?
  23. Change of plan and some pics!
  24. Ok so a change of plan, hopefully Jim can rename my thread for me. Last night was a big fail and I was unhappy with the model I'd started, and then I saw multiple entries along the same theme today so I've scrubbed my original idea and decided to take the competition title literally ! So here we have it ... 200 pins !!!!! Only joking, but I have taken the topic literally ... my entry ... the Mini ! I'm about 130 parts in so far, hopefully I'll squeeze in the 200 count, or it will be the usual of make the model and do a weight reduction exercise !
