what part are the discs youve used on the plow attachment ? I'm hoping to start the slow process of ripping my model apart and modifying it the week before christmas, first job is to remove the motor and battery and front PTO (the real vehicle doesn't have one) and to try and colour match some parts/connectors

anyone found the pesky anniversary brick on the jet yet ? Having looked over the images a lot I think it might be 3 models for me in this half, the ship, jet and racer -
I'd be happy with a single image and perhaps a single video with minimal (specific) text for the entry posts

Congratulations to the winners and well done to the forum for a great, large and diverse series of entries and not to mentions lots of voters. would have liked to have finished higher but then I did create a silly model on purpose heres to the next competiton

The jet looks great, I think it'll be my only H1 purchase. I like the way it's captured a lot of the F35 design features. As to the "super cars" I still haven't bought the Porsche and not sure if I will, but looking forward to seeing what's next -

<sarcasm> Wow ... such a lovely little brick with really expensive printing. We're all very lucky. </sarcasm> -
Similar problem on iPad and iPhone if I'm on a thread and select next page the website "greys" and nothing really happens. If I hit refresh the page changes to the one I want

Looks like it is you can see it on the b model image of the BMW bike too. im liking the look of the racer and the boat so far. Not too sure on the bike though -
Thanks for all the info Hornet, something for me to try in the new year I think with a brick link purchase of a few air tanks, pumps and some old switches i need to get on with my planned mods to the CLAAS first

Totally love this. I'm now interested in trying to build my own "steam" train. Any suggestions of where to start ? So I can start planning.

[TC10] The Claw
Seasider replied to Seasider's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I decided I wanted something purely mechanical and so went for a hand pump over a motorised option. Also adding a motor and battery would have made it even heavier! As to its length, I wanted something long to replicate the grabber arms I remembered as a kid and as to the length it ended up as that was purely down to the amount of frames I have! 3ft seemed like a cool length too -
So as promised I've gone slightly left-field and decided not to create a vehicle but try and create something very fun/silly Enjoy ... The Claw It's just shy of 36" long, weighs just under 1.2kg, it contains a lot of 5x11 panels and technic frames, and a lot more of our friend the black connector More details and pictures to follow ...

Have there been any details on the 40th anniversary brick/piece ? -
Hi Jim and admins, when will the entry topic be open ? had a mega Lego weekend (better half was away) and managed to get my "left field" entry finished. still to take some photos and a video but otherwise it's all ready to go but holding off to reveal it in all its glory until the entry topic is open, but wanted a heads-up if possible as work is (as usual) taking up a lot of my time ta, seasider

Jim ... The left-field model I'm thinking of only has a single pneumatic function and may possibly have a second non-pneumatic function if I can work it out
-
Does anyone have a table of the technic cylinders and pumps with their sizes compressed and extended ?
-
Ok a question for you folks out there. I'm only up to stage 78 on page 47 but I was pondering a question Jim had already asked in this review. Does Lego have a surplus of 4206482, our friend the little blue axle pin? Jim pointed out that they are used as the pivots for the rear steering, stage 41 page 25.Why isn't this the little grey frictionless pin? But I've also noticed a random use on them earlier when building the rear frame, steps 9, 31 and 36 use these pins where our favourite little black pin would suffice. So any ideas why these are our blue friend ?

Who'd have thought ... A pneumatic contest! I need to work out what kit I actually have! Looking forward to this, want to come up with something slightly left field !
