  1. As featured in the October Brickworld Virtual, for the Eurobricks room. It was great fun to participate and a chance to share a MOC that would be very hard for me to bring across the Atlantic to display in Person.
  2. Just excellent! The shaping, the parts use... Even the Barrels are cleverly built, they look exactly like the real deal. Thanks for sharing this great MOC.
  3. A little vig of the characters for one of my favourite films: A Knights Tale. I am hoping to improve it, this was thrown together to complement my Yellow Castle that I was presenting in the Brickworld Virtual Eurobricks room. I am rather pleased with the wagon I built. I think there are a lot of places to improve on the terrain, so any suggestions for what would look good? Have the crew in a woodland or walking besides fields? Something to hint at them entering into a town?
  4. I love the trees, that is a technique I am going to adapt for future foliage needs.
  5. That really fits the Ninjago aesthetic and is giving me awesome Fifth Element vibes too! Great design, thanks for sharing it.
  6. "What logic a maze has, right is the way to go. Can anyone investigate the sound? Movement could be the guards, or some foe we could avoid."
  7. Literally my post above yours explains: Eurobricks is not an image host. We advise you choose one of the many across the internet and then upload images there, you can deeplink them to the forum from there. Flickr, Instagram, Bricksafe, there are a lot of choices out there,
  8. That might be Invision updates, it might be you have had a rank increase? Whatever it is, the space is for an avatar, nothing more.
  9. I had a few attempts at other creations, but as I made them a (shocking to realise) 9 years ago, the parts around at the time and the size of my collection limited what I could achieve. Honestly, turning them up again from my photostream (and storage, I was always too proud of them to dismantle!) I have a few new plans to expand the idea with. Discworld was a great source of ideas for me, the books published before the 2000s really embraced the magical "technology" thing.
  10. "The brew, did your alchemist say what was in it?" Magnhilder had heard the whisper, many lifetimes in the icy expanses taught any being to listen well for even the smallest sound. "They died to protect their tribe, a better fate would have been living out their lives but with this plague, even I face my undoing." The etherian knew it was no real comfort, but there was little else to offer. "What say you Sam? Not one of these paths look fortuitous."
  11. It seems to be okay in the Aquarium and aquarium rides at LEGOLAND(s) I think they just clean them up from time to time. Nice build there though! It fits well in an underwater landscape. Thanks for sharing.
  12. Excellent and lovely! The use of the brushes as corals is very clever and I like the sausage plants a lot. I find it is always very relaxing to make plant-life from LEGO. Thanks for sharing
  13. D 1-2 looks like part of a Zoid from the Zoids 2 release in Europe The one faction was coloured with Chrome Gold and has a similar finish to the part you have.
  14. Ooo, I like these sort of challenges!
  15. A 3-5 is Megablocks or possibly Kreo (There were Kreo DnD sets but Megablocks has had dragons for a long time, it could go in either.) Not sure about the shovel, could be playmobile. A 6 is certainly Megablocks fencing. B 1-2 looks like Megablocks B 3 is a Megablocks cone. B 4 - Could be K'nex, could be Mega B 6 I have also seen similar in some hand-me-down bricks in an 80s collection. So they might be Playmobile of the era or some other small toy accessory C 1 - More angles please? It could be vintage LEGO, it could not be. C 3 - Megablocks hinge part C 4 - Playmobile pistol C 6 Megablocks Dragons weapon, I have some in my collection (I love to collect cool weapons for figures) D 4 Megablocks clip The other weapons look like they could be playmobile also, minifigures have a problem holding them as the dimensions of the hands are different, so that is a slight test. If they are too big for a minifig hand then you have Playmobile, if a figure can hold it or hold it a little loosely, the part is from a competitor building brand. BTW, love that wooden sword and the dagger!
  16. The image is a little small, if it has been uploaded on the forum I must advise you try uploading to an image site and then link it here. The size means I can't make out much detail, but: Top figure has a Magneto helmet. The figure with antenna is Mantis from Guardians of the Galaxy. Then General Zod. The yellow fig is a generic criminal from city and the last is some form of Star Wars trooper with no helmet.
  17. No. The Help thread is pinned for members to come and post questions or request help with using the forum.
  18. Magi-tech or Technomancy is the term used for fantastical settings that uses a Castle era with Technology in fiction. Years ago I dabbled in the idea: (link to albums on pics) Of course, those are just a personal choice of what to use. These were pure fantasy, so there was no demands for realism of material (strength, scarcity, etc), I just made sure to keep the aesthetic away from the Steampunk markers (chimney stacks, gears, a lot of copper/brass). Also, these days there are a lot of small parts for making the connections I used in these (Back then there were only bars, bar clips, telescopes and lightsaber hilts!) in shades that are less metal and more natural wood colours.
  19. Magnhildr inclined their head to the prophet. "I am Magnhildr. You are a map maker? Do you know the labyrinth?"
  20. Magnhildr shook their head. "There is one battle leader, young one." Taking a battle stance with their naginata. Attack MONAD, front row, Naginata.
  21. "Welp, still your tongue." Magnhilder shook their head, those so few in decades were so idealistic despite the world as it was. "We do not fight for the sake of fighting, we do not want to fight but you can see, a fight will often come." "Sam, your direction? This sorcerer is powerful." Magnhilder was ready to strike.
  22. "It is no want to fight. It is a need to protect."
  23. Figbarf, Magnhildr the Wanderer. Put this character together for another bash at the Heroica RPG quest being run in the games section. Parts: Ninjago Hair, Widowmaker Head, Kraven The Hunter collar, Fabric cape from Star Wars, Torso is a Rebel/Resistance. Weapon from Ninjago, Black utility belt. Legs are TLM2 Wyldstyle. Character: "Little is known about Magnhildr; "she" has been recorded by the tribes for centuries, wandering in and out of settlements with useful items to trade - food, hides, tools and scrap the people could use traded for entertaining trinkets. A barbarian by necessity, the icy wastelands are a dangerous place. Those who have simply encountered her have been scared off by the stern looking figure. However, the families she has traded with for generations know a different side of the Etherian they call Mags. A person who loves the fractals of the ice she wanders through and has been known to swap a valuable item for a child's drawing." With Theme Music! More MOCs for this figure will be coming, the little backdrop is a go at something Techno-Magical. Thanks for taking a look!
  24. Man, this is super awesome! Thanks for sharing it with me, you should totally put a post in Brick Flicks too. Amazing work
