This is my first post here, so Greetings everyone! I have been salivating on the Mocs I have seen here for years. Had trouble getting LDD to work for 3(!!!) years. One day I was playing a game when the unused LDD popped up from nowhere and it runs fine ever since I have seen some fantastic X-Wings but not much love for the E-Wing, so I gave it shot. This is my first ever LDD Moc and probably my 4th in total, so all input is welcome. I still have trouble getting LDD to do what I want sometimes. About my E-Wing: I love both the old blocky and the more recent E-wing designs on the internet, so I tried to go somewhere down the middle road. I understand if design purists don't like my approach. My primary goal was to build a display (UCS?) model, but when I finished the external design, I wanted working internals as well for playability and swooshability. Something UCS models don't allow... After adding all the internals I had to redesign the whole exterior again, to make it strong enough. I tried to design my E-wing with the available parts that I have at home, so that was a huge limiting factor for both the parts and the color scheme. I'm sure I could improve the model if I plan to bricklink the missing parts. Features: -Functional landing gears -Storage compartment (Rear) -Generator compartment (Mid section) .2 generators can be pulled out of the craft -Droid compartment (Mid section). Droid can be pulled out of the craft after elevating the whole turret assembly -Rotateable and elevable turret (Above droid compartment) -Wings can be level for landing mode or dropped for flight mode -Internal Torpedo storage for 6 Proton torpedoes (Behind the pilot) -Reallstic cockpit design -Realistic thruster design with build in LED lighting powered by 2032 Battery for when the Star Wars fan friend come over for a beer Features that I had to drop because I was unable to solve it: -Joystick for the pilot -Loading arm for the proton torpedoes Future plans. I want to build the model as it stands now and keep improving it as new ideas, building techniques and part become available in the future. I would like to use everything I learned here to make my own X-Wing

So, there's a topic about purist superheroes, but as a new Eurobricks user, I haven't yet found a place to just throw out purist or other custom minifigure ideas. Any custom minifigure idea is welcome, purist or modded, so long as it has at least one major difference from an out of the box TLG figure. Remember, ANY custom figures are welcome here.

I've been making a lot of minifigures and it is high time to post some that have been on my harddrive for months! These three were an effort to make more female characters from an Action & Adventure Theme. It is a shame that the ratio seems to be around five guys and one girl with named character releases, most of the sub-themes have at least one female character. Reasons aren't important as to why there are so few and it was easy for me to make these from my collection. So on to the figures! Tia Thwait-Fuller Daughter of a well known archaeologist-adventurer and a respected historian, Hypatia ‘Tia’ Thwait-Fuller took after her father more. Libraries, archives and curating collections were her future and she loved it. However when a mystery map with a riddle and a story was uncovered in an old storage room, Tia began to obsess about solving it and finding where the map led. With her parents busy she decided to take off on an adventure of her own. She appeared in my MOC of an All Terrain vehicle Gelert. After getting the lady scientist CMF I had a head for the bookish character and built the rest around that. There is a lot of Twilight Sparkle about this character, with a hint of Evelyn Carnahan and just a little ‘hidden depths’ from Lirael. I used a torso from Pharaoh's Quest, CMF Librarian hair and the Map from Pirates of the Caribbean. Eleri She only goes by one name. Part mercenary, part adventurer and all independent. There are few clues as to Eleri’s past. Rumours have it that she is an heiress of titles and money who rebelled and ran away to the far-east. Whatever her past, Eleri is known as an expert tracker and outdoor survivor who’ll hire herself out more for the thrill than the payday. Also appeared in the Gelert car. I originally built this figure as a fighter of monster mutant plants in a posing/forced perspective MOC experiment that didn't go so well. There was basically a lot of homage to Ellen Ripley (in fact when my brother in law was having a nose at my LEGO he asked why I’d made a Ripley figure.) in the creation of a figure to fight mutant plant monsters. When that didn't work she became an adventurer. Chuck some Tomb Raider and a healthy dose of any runaway-rebel-rich-girl you can think of to get the character I was aiming for. Dino trousers, the CMF swimmer's torso, Space Heroine head and Frodo's hair. The machete is of course Brick Arms. Dr. Regina Thwaite-Fuller Adventurer, wanderer, a society lady that her peers both admire and stare aghast at. She set out for fun and discovery and gathered some extras on the way. Now having collected a doctorate and a family she is slightly less reckless and the handy firearm takes care of the other threats. The bone-kicking business can get a little exciting after all. This figure came about when I wanted to make a Mustrum Ridcully type character with a twist. Monster Fighter characters remixed into something new. With hints of a few female characters from fiction and history (Or, the popular perceived image of certain historical characters). A Monster Fighters head and torso, Indy legs all combined to make a character that, on reflection, might be a bit over-armed...

First off, not sure if this in the right place in this forum. But decided to make a topic about advice of the right parts to use to make up the characters from the R&C series (up to now), and wasn't sure if this has already been discussed on here before. Hence this topic being created. I also wondered if anyone, to start off with knows what parts to use for a custom Sigmund from R&C: A Crack In Time. Hope this can be used as some where to discuss and share/help in making of the custom Minifigs from both, the Ratchet & Clank Original and Future Series.

A caparison is a cloth covering laid over a horse or other animal for protection and decoration. In modern times, they are used mainly in parades and for historical reenactments. A similar term is horse-trapper. The word is derived from the Latin caparo, meaning a cape. I will post some pictures but 1) am excited and 2) will shocase some of these on the long awaited and much promised Elf Chariot... but it's been a long day and thought I'd show here (as not everyone hits the MCW) Much love (and will be back soon) D

I have accumulated alot of kits over the years but I am recently trying to build my own creations and one of the first things I want to build is like a city building to go with my modulars. I was wondering if there was a way to instead of going to pick a brick or buying specific parts, to just take a lazier route and just buy alot of basic bricks that will help start the building process. I know lego sold those basic kits of standard pieces but those are all sold out. I basically mean like 2x4 bricks, 1x8 bricks, and all other essential bricks that people buy in bulk. I want to avoid just going to pick a brick because then it is way too specific and I would rather just have a big bin of pieces to start building. Is there also a way to somehow get similar colors? All of my custom creations so far are just random colors and it doesn't really look too good all together having mixtures of red and white and blue, etc. I have heard if you call a lego store they will be able to sell you a box of basic pieces that they put together? Once I have gotten all of these pieces, what is the best way to start building something like a modular building or just anything in general? I have built legos for years, but I was always more of the type of person that followed the instructions and followed the themes (cue the message of the lego movie here lol) Thanks so much!! Happy building

Let's continue posting here on EB with yet another historical LEGO model of mine. This time it's a one of a kind supercar - Maybach Exelero. I know - it should be black. But as I said in the other post - I didn't have many pieces to work with in other colors back in 2009. I only had white. But I liked the model - so I built it. That simple. Done. :) I also did a logo stand which I think turned out quite good. For that I have to say thanks to another great LEGO car builder - Ryan Link. He did an excellent logo stand for his Saleen and Ferrari. Of course - model features openable doors and hood. Thou I didn't find any picture if the trunk (if there is such) does open. So... I didn't do that. If you can find a pic of it open, or a statement that it doesn't (or you know by fact that it doesn't) - please let me know. Who knows - maybe I'll give the model another shot cause the way I work around the model now has changed a lot. And we do have wider variety of pieces now too. For instance - we didn't have 1x3 tiles back then. Now we do. And would have used some of those for the integrated spoilers. Ok.. this is more or less it for now. As always - you can see more pics on my Flicker album. https://www.flickr.c...57624577420820/ Hope you still like it. See ya next time. Cheers.

[MOD] Thor's Helmet So ever since I laid eyes on TLG Hawkman's (DC) new helmet, I knew I wanted to make this MOD / MOC. Build details: • First order of business was to bend / mold the "wings" back as much as possible without causing any irreparable damage. Those familiar with the MCU helmet know the wings do not flare out on the sides, but lay "flatter" to the helmet. • With a bit of trial and error, I got the wings as best as I could manage. I suppose I could have tried to fold back a tiny bit more, but I was getting worried that it was starting to damage the folds (there was a slight bit of visible "whitening" at the joints when I stopped -- no tearing -- these suckers are made of strong stuff -- but nonetheless decided to stop while I was ahead). • Next was to Dremel the face plate to remove the "mask" and then to shave / smooth down the inner sides. This took a bit of "eyeballing", trial and error. It's not 100% symmetrical, but about as good as I'm gonna get. • Finally, a nice coat of metallic Silver paint -- and boom -- done. Final Version: “Whosoever wears this helmet, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.”

Hello, I am reaching out to the MOC community for everyone's opinion on the best molding materials / clay? I have done a bit of research and understand that some of these names are the most popular / mentioned: - Sculpey (but so many different variants?) - ProCreate - Green Stuff - FIMO Question / Advice: - My goal is to create / mold a custom hair piece for Scarlet Witch as pictured here: I'd like to attach it to an existing LEGO hair piece (the one pictured above -- over right shoulder) Any suggestions as to which molding clay would work best? (I am a beginner!) Thanks!

Just a bit of an introduction before I start. I'm pretty used to building small-scaled MOCs, nothing using the TECHNIC building system. I've got a couple of the sets, but that's pretty much it. This is my first TECHNIC MOC. MERCURY features a 4-speed transmission based on one of Sariel's designs, independent front and rear suspension, HOG steering with linked steering wheel, and shock-absorber assisted doors and rear engine cover. The spoiler is operated by a small switch on either side of the car, and can be moved up and down. The car itself is mid-engined with a working V8. Please give me some feedback if you can, I'm trying to expand my horizons with TECHNIC, as it's very different from what I'm used to.

After seeing a lot of people make customs minifigs, I though I should start giving it a try. So for my first minifig I will make a custom Blade. The one piece I need help finding is a torso for Blade, any ideas?

Hello Eurobrickers! I decided that Nexo Knight's baddie, Moltor, needed a better weapon then just his hands. So, I made a suitable Lava axe for him! C&C much appreciated.

I created this topic to share my Nexo Knight Army! Most pieces are Lego, others are custom, or third party. Note: some Nexo Power Shields are custom printed, and not scannable for the game. I really hope you enjoy! The Monster Army

So, a lot of the Avengers character that were released were movie accurate. Fair enough since that movie has put enough capital into Marvel to keep them going for a few years. But when they started releasing the other characters, they were Cartoon accurate. Again fine, so I split my Avenger mini figs into two groups, Movie and Comic. This is a custom Movie Falcon. I used the Knock off Hawk Eye that you can buy on Ebay for about $3, then replaced his arms with black arms. Fitted a black 1x1 stud bib and a Travis block and then added a pair of Lego wings from the Chima line, finally finished with a Red translucent wedge for the rocket burn. https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/1040422_10153286783167656_7833682590755516325_o.jpg

Tried to find any MOCs related to guitars made of technic, but found nothing decent. Then tried to make it myself. Here is the picture for inspiration: Yamaha TRBX174 Pic Made a special stand for the guitar. Stand with guitar The stand is pretty simple. After a discussion with LuxorV and Dr Leg O'Brick, We came to a conclusion that Community was the best place to put this thread. Here Kre-O decals will be produced so that you can customize your Kreons to your heart's content. Kre-O themes are as followed Star Trek Transformers G.I Joe Battleship Dungeons and Dragons Cityville Invasion Decals will be made from that list of themes. Here are some I made earlier General Trelane (Retired) Harry Mudd These decals were inspired by Star Trek: The Original Series Kre-O decals are the same size as Lego decals at width, but are slightly shorter at the length I look forward to seeing what you can come up with, - END OF LINE -

Hey guys, As a massive marvel fan and motorbike fan I am naturally in love with the original spirit of vengeance from ghost rider 1. I have always planned to make the bike as a MOC but never got round to it. However with the release of the agents flame headpiece and with inspiration from ACpins fantastic creation I finally got round to it. Initially I had planned to go with something very similar to ACpins however i found that a tad large, So starting from scratch here's the result. The grievous head is sadly in bad condition as i got it in a trade many years ago.
