H20: 1: The Mystery of the Maze
Peppermint_M replied to Lind Whisperer's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Spells Plague the Lands." Magnhildr spoke aloud. "We came here to put a stop to that. We find you and many dead. We will interfere if it heals these lands." -

"Our enemy, so it seems." Magnhildr had their weapon ready for any foe. "This is a Necromancer- Watch for the dead, they will awaken again to fight." -
What to do when a knock off brand steals your moc?

And your post is polite, accurate and part of the discussion. The "tone" of a post is important. -

Sure, ignore the part where I ask you to take the behaviour elsewhere. Sure, different POV is fine, but unrelenting negativity is not an asset to any community. -

So why did you feel the need to come in and be an arse about it? Add something to the conversation; scathing rhetoric against the OP is more suited to other locations than Eurobricks. Another case of a member who should know a great deal better doing exactly opposite. -

Magnhildr shook their head, the frantic bird was flapping around and the magic of the area was making a feeling of badness inside. -
Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If it doesn't have LEGO as part of the plastic moulding, then it is a fake. None of the bootleg brands will put the actual LEGO name on the parts, as that would be a real legal problem. -
Absolutely the BEST Elements
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This is invaluable to so many of my builds that I had to add it to the list here. If I could get a 1kg bag of them, that would be excellent. These sort of parts are always helpful, I can't think of any serious MOC I have created that did not have a lot of these in use, even my smaller builds might have at least one popped in there.- 62 replies

H20: Fantasy's Back on the Menu!
Peppermint_M replied to Lind Whisperer's topic in The Heroica Archive
Ninjago is a great source of fun fantasy parts. The latest sets are an actual dungeon game too. -

I have my first week off since last year. (The perils of being a multi-skilled Key Worker in a Health Service Related job during the covid times. From micro IT support to free up the actual IT guys, to driving the fork-truck. It has been a non-stop 6 months!) So I want to get really building again. -

No worries! I have mentally given Tesni a well deserved retirement. Magnhildr was a spur of the moment creation who will more than likely become a character in some MOCs the setting has inspired. I create characters all the time! -
H20: 1: The Mystery of the Maze

Magnhildr bowed their head, "I will fight until my undoing." A solemn vow. Magnhildr knew, magic like this would need to be stopped. -

"You have lead your people a long time, Old Bones." Magnhildr smirked. "I wander the ice." They chuckled and then watched the bird, hopefully this was not one maddened by the malady they sought to rid the world of. It would be a ill omen to need to fight so soon in their quest. -
H20: 1: The Mystery of the Maze
Peppermint_M replied to Lind Whisperer's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Sam, I do not like that sight." Magnhildr lifted her weapon. "You know more of this place than I, a leader who knows where they are going is best." They looked to the rebuilt mage. "Can you feel it, in your magic? This place is getting into my fabric..." -
H20: 1: The Mystery of the Maze
Peppermint_M replied to Lind Whisperer's topic in The Heroica Archive
Magnhildr regarded the human, she was not a face that was familiar, but there were many people who they had not met. "This is not a place I visit often. A wrongness comes from it I can feel in my andweorc, a pricking at my being deeper than any force should go." They paused a moment and looked up the rising earth. "I only come now to fight back what ails the world. I do enjoy traveling it." The group held some faces they had encountered in the past. The skeletal figure was certainly one they had met even when it still carried flesh. -

I don't know if I interpret it correctly, but I am thinking of Etherians as genderless unless they identify to one. Hence the "she" that the other races applied to the Magnhildr. -

Magnhildr held tight to the naginata, this mountain range was one to be avoided, even the shadow it cast could cause discomfort. "What say you. We have reached this place together, but a lead would be necessary for the battles to come." -

Absolutely the BEST Elements
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That is a space knight on a rocket horse. I believe all other arguments have been rendered invalid! Okay, I am going to approach minifig parts by type: This is a favourite, as I have brown hair, I wear caps all the time and I always have a ponytail through the back. If you told little me that this would be a thing, I would never had believed! Name a more Iconic hat from LEGO. I think it will be difficult! A truly classic blade. I had a service pack of castle parts and this sword was a prized part for my Knight to take into battle. More to come from me, but I have to make choices!- 62 replies

Oh, Minifig Parts are a must! I didn't get started on those last night, or I would never have gotten the thread posted! I have a list of minifig parts and animals to get posted here in the near future- 62 replies

Excuse my enthusiasm but I have decided that what I really want to do is talk about my absolute favourite LEGO Elements. I also want to see what parts you like and why. There are thousands upon thousands of parts out there, from big to tiny. There are no right or wrong reasons to like elements, nor do they have to be "worthy" reasons to enjoy them. I just want to spread some positive vibes. Now to bore you all with my favourites The pointed wedge. Especially in this metallic colour. They look great, they have sharp lines that look excellent in contrast to the flatter planes of the older wedge/slopes, or the curves of the alternate types. I stick them on spaceships, I put them on aircraft and I work them in to racing cars. Very basic plant/leaf. I have this and the larger version in many colours and will spend hours creating foliage. Trees, climbing plants or just some very overgrown spaces are some of my favourite things to just build; never with any goal in mind more often than not. I have not shared many of those creations as they are never a complete MOC. However, I always chase the ideal of a natural looking plant, or an alien but still recognisable arboreal build. Tail, Rounded Top - The airplane tail from my childhood. I had Baron Von Baron's Bi-Wing plane and have loved planes since I was a small child, so MOCs of planes have long featured in my creative history. This tail, either plain or the printed versions, was used in many a creation that spent an afternoon swooshing around my bedroom and the house. Favourite printed map, hands down. Maybe I will add more later. but these are the top picks. Anyone want to join in?

Where mine autocratic? There is no room for personal attack on Eurobricks. I would hope all long time members were aware of this. @JintaiZ, maybe try figuring out a reasoned response to people's posts. Instead of immediate short replies, take some time to arrange your thoughts and write them out, something that addresses the point and your own opinion on the matter. Just a tip for forum posting.
