  1. Looks very light, can't wait for the video! Great job as usual!
  2. arrh another doctor! cool. Modifying stuff is fun! :D I can see a multimeter so you know what you are doing? :P what you have done looks very neat and professional, sweet!
  3. Mine doesn't drift, but it does cut out! :( haha. I think its too heavy. I might try a different setup. yours is really great btw, its very quick, well in the video it is, dunno about now if you have added body work to it.
  4. Sorry to hear you have a problem! I have noticed on mine that the receiver antenna is very 'weak' probably due to play over the years of its life. If my antenna is not screwed tightly in it will not work. This suggests to me that the circuitry inside has a poor contact or something has come loose. I can't suggest anything else that has not been said. If it were me I would take it apart! haha, but I know a fair bit about electronics. Hope you can fix it!
  5. here is my version, hope you don't mind. I was dying to try the little yellow spring block I just got, and it works great! I added a bumper cos, my place is a maze to drive thu! And crashes are very common. hahah
  6. That is looking fantastic, I find it very inspiring!
  7. really sweet model! I like the curves and angle a lot. Nice to see a red chassis too, I don't mind that at all. Great job!
  8. Thats really cool! Great design, I can see elements of a Rolls, so I'm looking forward to your next project too. Great job. Man that cat jumped! haha
  9. Very cool and original model! I like the detail, functions and movement very much! This is very much a Technic model! Great job. May I suggest a better quality rendering of your video, as it does to me spoil it. If you need any help with editing, please feel free to ask!
  10. Great truck! I'm looking forward to seeing it finished! I really like the steering solution. Awesome job!
  11. Awesome video man! Thank you for taking the time to edit it! I thought your driving was better than you give yourself credit for, considering its on/off throttle and 1 increment steering. Great job!  (extra thumb for an indoor skate ramp!)
  12. This is just too cool! I think as a model designed to drift the body work is fantastic, with weigh being in mind. The back suggests the real thing, which I looked up to refresh my memory. Excellent job, the stickers are unbelievably good, and can't wait for the video!
  13. Wish we had Argos here in Australia too! Just thought I should mention that Myer's in Australia has 42000 for just $119! and my store had at least 9 boxes, the crawlers were GONE! HAHA
  14. Thank you! I will have to borrow someones vise! haha There are 2 different speeds, the closest one to the motor is higher with less torque than the outside one, which I tend to use mostly with my experiments as its more powerful to drive bigger tires. Yes it is! it rotates 45 degrees left and right at 3 increments. its slightly more powerful than the new servo, but of course less movement. :)
  15. Beer and Lego, doesn't get any better really! hehe No Beer, Lego, pneumatics and Arduino! Sweet. Great video explaining everything, and amazing robot! Keep up the great work. I subbed too.
  16. I have a yellow technic submarine from 1997, it was assembled and never played with up to last year when I brought it. The parts are all in perfect condition and work fine, tho the hoses are "expanded" where they were connected to the cylinders or switches for such a long time. They still work tho. :)
  17. WOW, Thank you very much for answering my questions! I appreciate it a lot! I differently need to grease my gears somehow. I'm thinking making a metal bracket with pins in the right places that can be put in a vise and squeezed open gently.
  18. Hi everyone! Here's some nice pictures of the RC units I took, because I couldn't find many whilst looking, especially the controller. Some questions I have about RC stuff are. Why can you not use a new servo from the Auxiliary power supply on the receiver unit? In terms of electronics whats going on? Is it possible to control 2 or more receivers with one transmitter (I'm pretty sure it is, like Sariel's Endurance racer) Can you run 3 or more RC motors from 1 receiver unit. Also one of my new motors is making a very concerning sound, which to me suggests there is no grease in the gears inside. Has anyone successfully taken apart the gear housing without damaging it? The little clips are really tough to move. Thank in advance!
  19. Thanks for your good question! The Hot rod is waiting for the servo currently in the Reaper, which is waiting to be filmed! The Patria and still waiting for parts to arrive, cos I broke the (black ball steering bit) I say most of mine get past the WIP state. :D I do a lot of experiments, and if they work, that usually results in a development stage.
  20. :D Does anyone know how much postage will be to Australia? :P Thanks.
  21. Hey thanks for that! Very good solution. Do you have any idea why electronically it doesn't work? I'm fascinated to know. Yes I remember you and your amazing fast response time! Thanks very much, means a lot! I'm glad I inspire, cos others inspire me! WIP update: I'm currently trying to build a quick crawler using the RC motors as I did with NXT motors, proving to be a bit tricky, here is the 5th version, not completed tho. the 16t gear will b the steering. :D thanks for reading!
  22. Yes I did! Yes I got the battery box with Auxiliary power too! I was disappointed when the Aux power does not run a new servo, but does a M and L motor, haven't tested an XL yet. @Piterx what do i win? Sunshine!!!! Yes you are correct! Sunshine of course! Well done for guessing.
  23. Now I have seen everything! that's kinda bad for motors surely??? But you know what, I kinda want to try it! haha Thanks for sharing.
  24. Stunning model! Yes I totally agree, it looks like a lexus lfa or a toyota gt 86. Great work!
  25. Just got my first RC unit and controller with Motors! Very excited as I learn how to incorporate into my mocs. Here's what I have come up with so far. Also a test for the body of a famous car? Have a guess! HAHA Yeeehhhhhaaaaa
