  1. Looking good! I was just looking at your blog and youtube, great stuff! Thought you might be a great person to ask a few questions about rc stuff. I know this is off topic a bit so sorry. Is it true that rc controller "5282" has paddles that can be used with a Receiver Unit with Auxiliary Output? so you could make gear boxes operate from them? Are the controllers proportional control like a lil throttle to max, and same for steering? Many thanks!
  2. Hahah, yep thats why I put it there! I built the frame around the battery box so it would be in the best place just like the real thing. 10 volts nice! Good job.
  3. O M G! That has to be the longest moving technic I have ever seen. Possibly the longest ever made! Truly awesome work!
  4. Great job! Very nice video too! Awesome articulation and body shape, and sweet performance.
  5. in flickr, at the bottom on the right there is a little white box with a arrow in it. Click that to bring up a small menu. Choose, Grab the HTML/BBCode Choose BB code then medium 800x600, copy the code that appears and paste that into the text you write here. Hope that helps. Yes it is clear you have not painted it, im guessing from the face design he is very old.
  6. Very nice! its quite fast with good suspension, and certainly looks like the real thing! Good job.
  7. Sweet man! looking really good! It's great isn't it? So simple yet powerful! How many volts are you running? Thanks for building it and mentioning me!
  8. Brilliant! its really fast, and turns quick, awesome job. Wish I had a marble floor!!! Wish I had a clean floor.
  9. What a little beast! Awesome. Different way of placing the XLs. I think its a touch top heavy tho. But certainly has style! Good job.
  10. That is awesome! I love the sounds. Very well done, I have no idea about programing, but seems really good! How did you get it already? I thought EV3 wasn't available till August? And is it only available thought Lego Education here in Aust and NZ?
  11. I too saw the pic, and thought r34!!! hahah Thats a GTR too! :D Not too many in Europe and illegal I think in America. Unless you are Paul Walker, :P Hopefully my next car! Congrats on 11000! Well done. :D
  12. WOW Sweet! , Wish we did cool things like that when I was at school! Great job, well done for winning. And which one is you? haha
  13. Woops I missed that post! my bad, thanks Jon Looks very different! Must be very rare indeed!
  14. Hahahah, nice! Was that using the nxt block? And how did you make a custom Electromagnet????
  15. Good question Jon, umm no actually, all the testing was done on fresh batteries, everything in the video x3 and still going strong so about 1 hour run time so far. Will let you know when they die! haha and the approx time of life. Also I found I can virtually stall the motors and they do not suffer from the "over heating" safety switch in the battery box, unlike 2 XL that would "cut out" if you know what I mean.
  16. Thats really cool! Ultra rare. Any chance of a picture?
  17. Looking really nice! you know your heart is in the forums, when an accident happens and the first thing you do is take a pic!!! Great job.
  18. Here you go. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160838773023?var=460088207523&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Excellent seller, it doesn't say but these are Annsmans 1.9" as you will see in my pics. I think these will become the "standard" Lego Technic 3rd Party tires!!!!
  19. No man go for it! It has so much potential! What I came up with was just a weeks worth, i'm sure it can be refined and improved heaps. I'm wondering if it is possible to gear down again 2:1 then 3:1. Thanks Jon! Yes quite pricey, I totally forgot about the ones I ordered ages ago with my NXT set, SOOO clad I got them at the time! Its pretty simple, the adapter cable that Jon linked connects to the NXT motor via the phone line type connection then at the end it can be connected to a PF short cable and then that connects to the IR unit. Thanks for the nice comments guys!
  20. Thanks timslegos, 750ACE and OleBM for the nice comments! I will be trying different gear ratios, 2:1 and 1:1. I'll see what happens,
  21. Cheers!!! Here are some more pics, I have lowered the suspension by 1.5 studs and changed the top frame. Also made the front steering brace much smaller. It will now "meet and climb" a vertical object, as you will see in the video.
  22. Cheers! Here is the test video. I had a lot of fun testing and it held up extremely well. I estimated the best angle it managed was about 51 degrees. I think it can do better with a more gripper surface. Please sign in and Rate, Comment and Subscribe! I spent most of the day making this video, LOL.
  23. Should have a short video up in about 4 hours times. Thanks for all the nice comments!
  24. I will Zblj tomorrow! And thanks too. Thanks, I just looked, and unfortunately it wont, cos of half a stud! When I lower it tomorrow, hopefully it will. Yes they are the unimog rims, and I will find a link to those tires, I paid around $5 AUS which is pretty good!
