    Thats looking really good man, very interesting! I too like the lack of CV joints. You mentioned lack of pics, so here are a few, may help LOL. I'm not sure exactly what type it is, maybe you someone can tell me. These are looking towards the front of the car. This is looking over the wheel.

    Hi Everyone! Just thought I would document my rc motor disassemble, due to bad "cracking" sounds, and show how I managed to take it apart with minimal damage as possible. I thought it was due to lack of grease inside, but this turned out not to be true. It was in fact a loose gear on its pin, as you can see below. It was extremely difficult to take apart and a lot of force was required!! and at this stage i have no idea if it will go back together nicely and still work at all. Seeing the condition that it is in, and the sound it makes from this loose gear, I would recommend if anyone else hears the same thing to just put up with it! haha Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, as it will only get worst with time. I have considered filling it with heavy grease, or make a very thin metal sleeve for the gear. This was a brand new motor purchased from BL. Disclaimer: I am not responsible if you damage any Lego or yourself from attempting to copy what you have seen here.

    OMG!!! that final wave! Man I felt for you. Nasty salt water. Great vid, and thanks for "sacrificing" your model. It looks really good on the beach. Hope its clean now.

    These hubs, are really not so good, I used them on my Hot rod just cos I thought I have to use them at least once. They are no good for all wheel drive applications, as they have a fatal design flaw that causes them to pop out when on a hard wheel lock or at lowest or highest of suspension limits. Best to stick with the 8070 ones! if you don't have any, I highly recommend that you buy some. Hope that helps.!

    I only learned about the new 8t a few months ago after someone on EB told me about them. I ordered a few and was extremely impressed with the results, and put them to good use in my crawlers. I'm sure there are some other people, perhaps new to EB that didn't know, cause it is easy to miss the odd thread.

    Absolutely! They can ask for that much, but highly doubt anyone will pay that much, at least not yet.

    My apologizes, I completely forgot to show how it works in the video. I'm hoping to make a sorta off-road vid, and will show it there. I used the F1 suspension parts to hold the solid axle in place, but still allow it 1 stud vertical movement.
